HTC EVO 4G :: Will New Update Fix Our Bluetooth Wii Controller?

I really want to use the Wii classic controller with my emulators but everyone says the app doesn't work with the Evo. I understand they are adding some Bluetooth functionality with the Froyo update. Does this mean there is a chance we will now be able to use Bluetooth controllers.I uderstand this is possible if I root my phone. Should I just wait for a fully functional rom after the update. Also how many of you have experience running the emulators on Froyo. Do the games seem to run any better. Any one actually got the Wii remote running on an Evo.

I was curious if I bought a Bluetooth video game controller, would it work for my nintendo games I play on my Evo. If it does work, can anybody recommend a good controller.Sent from my HTC Evo 4G.

A couple of day ago the music controller on my BT stereo headphones (backbeat) just stopped working. I can't move between tracks and if I hit the pause button it mutes the music but does not pause the playback. It does not appear to be a physical problem with the switch because the volume control still works.Anyone else have this problem and is there a fix?

is there any way i can use the controller on my PC trough my phone bluetooth?
(like making my phone a bluetooth usb dongle).

I recently bought the SNES emulator for my HTC Desire. Works well but some action games are very hard to play using the onscreen gamepad.
Are these games easier to play on a bluetooth keyboard? I am guessing you can bind some keys on the keyboard to various buttons in the game.
I have seen some bluetooth game controllers like the Zeemote but it does not currently support android. Are there any other options?

I've searched around and cant find anything. I was wondering if anybody has found a bluetooth style controller that can be used for gaming/NES emulators. If you are like me, you have been impatiently waiting for bluetooth support for keyboards / joysticks specifically the wii controller.Is it just me who wants this or what?I'm on the developer forums all the time and hardly see anyone mention this.All I know is that the nexus supported this feature, but the Evo doesn't. Seems that Sense UI screwed up this capability.HOWEVER, after installing android 2.2, with bluetooth fully functioning it seems that it still doesn't work which leads me to believe that the bluetooth HID profile is missing.

If I stick my phone to my TV via HDMI while pairing the phone with a bluetooth controller/gamepad, can I use the gamepad to move around the android UI on my couch? Like surf the internet and open apps and such.

I have been trying to connect my wiimote controller to my phone using bluetooth. There are a few apps in the market that allow this to work and most people seem to be having success with this app while I keep getting that error when I ever I try to connect it.
I've tried 3 wii controller apps with no success. Is this a Moment issue? Has anyone else been having the same problem?

I worked with both the BGP100 and Zeemote on other mobile platforms. They both work quit good with action games. The buttons/keys can be user programmable meaning with the proper driver you can configure the buttons for game specific actions. This worked well under other platforms.
Im considering investing some time in the development of a driver to work with these.

After I updated to 2.1 i cant see the phonebook any longer in my car (BMW 1 serie with IDRIVE and bluetooth). With 1.6 I could chose a contact and then dial directly, or import the phone number (however it was not as great as the old symbian OS where you even could navigate directly to a contact). Is it someone that has any idea of a good app or something that makes this possible (maybe a Symbian simulator :-)).
I have also realized that the connection (dB) has decreased with the new OS. I even loos connection on the E4, with this phone (Xperia X10 mini Pro).

Has anyone noticed a change in the bluetooth profiles or support for such since the update to 2.2? Before my Moto S9HD headset would control the media player, allowing me to advance tracks, pause/play and such. It (at the time) wouldnt initiate calls but could pick them up.Well flash forward to 2.2(.3) and I can no longer control the media player via my headset. I can listen to music and now I get the prompt when I hit the call button for voice dial but now my fast forward and play/pause controls are gone.Even tried re-pairing the headphone. Is there another setting/control I need to set (noticed a few things moved in 2.2) or am I stuck until an update?

When i have the Android 1.6 in my X10, i just install a App that made my phone always viewable by other bluetooth handsets, now in Android 2.1, the same App can't keep the bluetooth always viewable for other handsets, can you please advise if is there any App that can keep always the mobile viewable for others? Has anyone else starting experience issues with bluetooth audio since the 2.2 firmware update? I have never had any issues with the bluetooth audio connection with Microsoft Sync in my car but since the update I can't get through a track without drops all over the place. I am forced to connect via the audio cable; then everything is fine. Like I said, I very occasional hiccup before the update; now it is all the time.

One thing that I really like about the phone is the ability to play music from my phone to my car stereo via Bluetooth because it has the A2DP. No wires and I can control the music ON the deck itself instead of the phone. I've updated the phone with the leaked froyo about 2 days after it was leaked. I noticed that I couldn't play music from my phone to my car stereo anymore via bluetooth. I am able to take calls fine via bluetooth while I am driving, it just won't play any music.

I tried to root my new ZOPO ZP500+ Plus MTK6577 following the instructions from this russian forum: [URL] ..... by using the SP Flash Tool. It was successful, so I got root. But now I have no WLAN and no Bluetooth.
So I downloaded the original Zopo 500+ Firmware from here: [URL] .... and flashed it. Unfortunately the problem hasn't been resolved.
I try my luck at [URL] .... but especially the file for the ZOPO ZP500+ is no longer available.

First, I still can't forward emails properly. If it makes any difference this is an exchange email. All forwarded emails are still sent as an Eml attachment, and still get a bunch of jibberish texts.
Second, Bluetooth is still not working properly in my car. Don't know what compatibility issue is there.
And just to throw it in there, I'm posting from my handset and on screen keyboard, it is typing very very slow, better with the slide out but damn...

I am implementing a two-step animation: (1) Displaying a set of images using Grid layout (similar to Api Demo LayoutAmination4) (2) Upon (1) completion, rotate out Grid layout around Y-axis & rotate in another layout Step#2 is similar to Api Demo Rotate3dAnimation but it is triggered w/ o any user input. As soon as (1) is completed, (2) should occur automatically. To do that, I use LayoutAnimationController isDone to detect if all child views of the grid layout are animated

I'm trying to modify the default layout for the MediaController. I'd like to remove the fastForward/fastRewind buttons and maybe do some resizing, etc. I know it's possible to remove the buttons if I call the MediaController(Context, useFastForward) constructor, but is there any other way to change the layout of the controller?
