I can't seem to find it anywhere..but whenever I receive a call and pick it up, I get a mini-vibrate, as well as when I hang it up.I can't find this setting anywhere.

I've had the phone for a couple weeks, and I can't figure out how to make it vibrate when I get a text message. I have been through the settings, but can't figure it out. Anyone mind helping?

This is very annoying and I can't seem to figure out how to turn it off. Changing ring tones and such does not work, still says "Verizon Wireless". Is there anyway to turn this off?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using commitva z71 category phone. (motorola quench xt3 xt502).
I had been using cyanogenmod roms on it. presently i have CM 7.1 EAV 7.2. The roms usually came with ADW launcher as default. But one problem I have been facing is that some times my phone does not respond to press of any button, not even power button after ending a call. The screen however goes off and does not light up.
I have to either remove the battery, replace it and restart or I have to make a call to my phone from another phone. When I give a missed call, the phone gets activated. But when I press Menu button, it brings up the keyboard instead of Menu.
This problem has been persisting whichever version of CM Rom I have been using.
The problem aggravates when I use Go Launcher as my default launcher by using Launcher Switcher. When I use ADW as default lanucher but have Go Launcher also on my phone, sometimes the defaults are cleared and I am asked to choose the launcher to finish the task of closing phone app.
Initially, I thought this was the problem of default phone app. So I tried dialer one from play store, but to no avail.
Is there a way to delete the ADW launcher that comes with the custom ROM?
I have my phone connected to my companies exchange server through touchdown. I would like to disable the notification sound and vibrate for new emails. I get a ton of emails and my phone is buzzing non stop. I turned my notification sound level down but that also stops text notification I would still like to hear those.
Is there a way to stop just email notifications?
The end call button gets hit by my cheek and drops calls, anyone else having this problem?Is there a way to lock the screen or an App to lock the screen during calls?
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy phone will not vibrate when I receive and SMS text message. I have checked and unchecked the vibrate box multiple times and nothing changes. It is not a big deal unless I have my phone on vibrate mode because I am in a meeting or something. During those times, I have no way of knowing if I received a message outside of pulling out my phone and checking it every few minutes. Anyone else having this problem or have any suggestions?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a question. The phone is set to vibrate when receiving SMS messages in the Messaging options. I only receive the audio notification and no vibration. I have also tried it with the program SMSPopup and its the same thing. I downloaded another one, SMSMorse, and it vibrates with this one, vibrating in mores code the message or the sender's name. The problem is that the mores code is long and it wastes the battery. I have sent a complaint to SE and they told me to take out the battery so it resets but no lock. The next thing they told me is to do a factory reset but I don't want to lose all of my settings and everything.

I have a couple of questions about notifications on the Captivate.
1) My ringer, when someone calls me, starts off quiet for a few seconds then goes to full volume. The ringtone I have doesn't do that by itself, it must be a setting. Is there a way to make it ring full volume as soon as someone calls me?
2) Is there a way to make the phone vibrate when receiving a text message either while the phone is on vibrate or on normal volume.
I'm picking up a Droid tomorrow. How is the call vibrate? I constantly missed just about every call on my Eris.

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo, in 1.5 there were all these complaints (from me, too) that the vibrate on the Eris is useless. But with 2.1, I can definitely feel a difference. Well, I can feel it at all, which is a huge difference. So kudos to HTC for seeing a problem and fixing it. Could be stronger, but still, much much better.

Is it even possible? I personally prefer to have call waiting off. I do not want incoming calls bothering me if I'm already on the phone.

I spent an hour of useless troubleshooting with him having to turn my phone off and on a bunch and doing a factory reset. After that didn't fix it (surprise surprise, all that inconvenience for nothing) he tells me I'll have to have it replaced with a refurb. I told him that I don't consider a refurbished phone to be an equal replacement and I'm happy to pay a fee of some kind to get a new Eris, just like I would if I went through the insurance (cause those are new, right? if they're refurbs I'll be pissed...). He LAUGHED at me, and said "Every time a phone comes to the end of its term people call in with excuses to get the new model. This is why we don't make exceptions, or else more people like you would be calling in."
