Is there any way to update all your apps at once instead of doing it one by one. I don't keep the background data on all the time so when I turn it on there's 15 apps waiting to be updated an it blows to go through them like that.

So I downloaded the OTA update today without a hitch. I went to the Market today to finally download Pac-Man and maybe de Blob, but they're both missing. No big. I tried to do a search for them and...they aren't there. Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

View 7 Replies View RelatedHad a quick question - Did the update yesterday morning with no issues other than I can not find some of the apps I used prior to the upgrade. I can find them in the market, but when I try to use my phone to download, it can not find them. Note: I used Astro to back up most of my apps on the phone, these couldn't be backed up since they were marked private. And they didn't display in my downloads either after the upgrade. Digital Clock Widget: Silent Time: If I use my friends phone (same version prior to my upgrade), no problem finding these apps. Suggestions? I could always downgrade back to the previous version, but I was having some freezing issues that I hope this upgrade fixed...

View 13 Replies View RelatedHope you guys can help. Since the 2.1 update I have certain apps which appear to be opening in the background when I didn't open them. I have Advanced Task Killer, and when I go in for example it shows Messages running, when I kill it, it will reappear in 30 secs or so, the same with MP3 store. Can these apps be stopped so they don't take up memory or what's the deal here. Thanks for any help.

So i have that checked off for like 80+% of my 80+ apps (that took a while to do let me tell you). Now i have had three apps have updates available since i checked off the box, yet they never actually automatically updated. I waited, hours, still never updated. Is there a setting i need to modify? Do i need to tell it what time of day to do it? Anyone else noticing this? I only really want it in apps that i don't care about reading the new features. But it is annoying that i have it enabled and it does nothing.

Google Maps & Latitude, Youtube, the Market will not load properly and will either give error messages or won't load at all. Gmail, Voice, Gtalk and the web still work. I have did a couple reboots, pulled the battery, cleared the cache and nothing has helped. Any suggestions short of a factory restore or the Verizon store?

It will not actually download the update and just stays like that forever and inturn will suck the battery. If i stop the update and just manually update the app it will download and install just fine. It is kinda weird that it will not download automatically. It even tells me it found updates. I currently have about 13 updates available, but I hate that the updates ADD to the size of the app instead of replacing what you have. Eventually, after updating Google Maps a few more times, the thing is gonna be over 10MB... not that that is HUGE necessarily but a few apps like that, that keep adding on 1 or 2 MB per update will definitely add up. Sometimes I will uninstall and reinstall again, so as not to end up with a much bigger file size-- however, I'm not sure that always works as I think it should. Anyhoo, what is your application update process? Update all? None? Just ones you think are necessary? Also, sometimes updates are awful, so I try to read comments before updating, although there is usually someone who's not happy no matter what.
