There are probably a few of you who have come from a BB and I was wondering how you got your stuff over to the Desire i.e. Saved messages (sms, email), media, etc. This will be my first Droid so please be gentle.

I am trying to set up my email account with Virgin Media on my Desire but I can`t get the settings right, it`s a pop account, I can receive mail but I can`t send it. I`m with Three mobile but my phones unlocked, When I connect via wifi to my home it sends ok, but this seems a bit pointless when I`m away from home.

I set the bluetooth up and linked the two phones but I couldn't do anything else. So if you have any answers or directions on how to use the bluetooth.

So, android can't figure out the album art right now, has anyone had any experience solving this problem?
Also, I don't know if this is specific to my phone (galaxy with galaxo), but it does not recognize songs with chinese id3 tags (it shows up as ?).
I put the USB into my phone and then into the computer. I then mount it. I go into my music on computer, drag and drop music into the folder music on the SD card ( I think ). How comes I drag like 50 songs and only 11 go on there. I have a 8gb card. Can someone explain o me how to put music onto my phone. Allso, When on internet and watching a video on youtube or els where. The video plays fine. Then just stops every 5 secs and takes ages to load.

I have digital copies of a Wanted and Matrix and Toy Story 3 already on my computer. I tried creating a movies file then clickand drag onto my mounted phone the try to watch using Rockplayer but nothing. What am I doing wrong? Do the movies need to be converted to another format or what? How do i do that if so?? How do I then transfer and watch the movies...

I need some serious help locating a sms app to transfer text messages from my phone to email or to my SD card. I mean both text and pictures. I have a weakness for saving text messages and have over 7500 for one person. This causes my phone to force close, freeze and texting now takes over 15 minutes to text people.

I have done the following:
Connected my phone to my computer
Mounted my SD card
Created a Media folder on the card
Created an Audio sub-folder within Media
Created Ringtones, Notifications, Alarms, and MP3s folders within Audio
My custom ringtones show up when I'm selecting them in Settings, and RingDroid also shows all of my files (currently placed in Ringtones and Notifications). However, if I go to my GMail app and settings, when I go to select a custom notification ringtone, only the ones that shipped with the Droid 2 show up. I also checked Settings, and no custom notification sounds come up.
Everytime I put my school email account info. into my Galaxy, it comes back and says the password or name is wrong.

My question regards a copy of Family Guy (Something, Something, Something, Dark Side) which I purchased yesterday. The standard DVD also comes with a digital copy on the DVD which, when inserted into the drive brings up a choice of transferring the file to my computer to be copied over to my Desire as either a iTunes file or a Windows Media Video (WMV).Ideally I want to avoid the iTunes route as currently I have no use for that program on my system so I would like to be able to use the WMV version. When I copied the file to my Desire, it didn't play and the phone didn't seem to recognise it. Can anyone please give me advice on how to play a WMV on my Desire?
