I have a Blu-ray of Star Trek that came with a Digital Copy. Is it possible to transfer one of the Digital Copies to my Samsung Captivate? If so, what format should I choose?

So I just bought Iron Man 2 on Blu Ray and it came with a portable copy. but when I put it on my phone I get an error saying "This Item expired. Connect to PC and download license". Can anyone help me with this problem?

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo yesterday I noticed that I would occasionally receive multiples of the same text message. It started out only being once or twice, but it has increased in frequency. Today, I reset my phone with Odin3 and installed SRE 1.2.2a. Also, I added the lag fix. Unfortunately after resetting, I am still experiencing the same problem. I thought it was an issue with handcent, so I switched to chompSMS and the same thing is happening. Most recently, I have received the same text message 7 times, and it was originally sent an hour ago. The odd thing is that each copy that is sent to me shows the ORIGINAL send time, so its something on my end that is going wrong. For the record I have notifications only turned on for one SMS client at a time, so thats not an issue. i have toyed around with my sms settings and everything but for some reason I still am getting this problem.

I downloaded doubletwist but it seems like all the digital copies cannot be copied. is there really no easy way to do this unless i have an ipod or iphone. Seems kinda dumb to me

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm new to the forum and wanted to see if somebody could help me out. I recently got a Motorola Droid and I really like it. I'm going to be traveling this week and wanted to put some movies on it. I have a bunch of Blu-Ray movies that come with free digital downloads. I downloaded a few movies in both formats that are available, mp4 and wma. Neither format will play on the droid, I tried viewing in both the gallery and some video playback apps.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue with my M3U playlists.
I use the default Samsung media player, Isyncr and Itunes. Although I have also used the Doubletwist Player (not the desktop software) and had the same issue, I just prefer the Samsung default player mainly because of the lock screen app.
Here is the issue.
First, I sync my playlists with Itunes using Isyncr, all of the songs come over great, art and tags, everything is perfect. It also creates M3U playlists on my phone. I double checked that everything is there.
Then when I unmount, media scanner scans my SD card (which takes way longer than it should) and it deletes all of my playlists. Now a little research on XDA forums tells me that this is because anytime the media scanner scans a playlist and can't find all of the songs from that playlist, it assumes it is an old playlist and deletes it. The problem is that when I look through the M3U files, every song referenced in the list is on the card...they are all there, yet it keeps deleting them.
Does anyone know of a solution to make it stop deleting my playlists?
I know that some people were able to do this with the Nexus One. So has anyone (who has gotten it early) done the same?

In the sense that it tell's me it's not supported in my country (USA)... Or is there something wrong with my phone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm thinking of getting a Samsung Captivate to replace my Treo 650/Archos 5 (4.8in pmp, the headphone jack of which died). My question is, how is the video/music player on the Captivate? I've been looking for days, and have a decent idea of the music player, but I can't find even one article or post saying anything about the media player besides the codecs/containers it can play. Can anyone vouch for its ability to play 720p h.264 or xvid videos? I was thinking of getting an Archos 32 (low end android based pmp) for its media capabilities, but realized for about the same price I could get a captivate.

I was just gonna go with the ol' drag and drop. Is there a better way? And second question...When I have my phone plugged into my computer I can't do anything on the phone. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have 2 Captivates on my family plan. I just downloaded(using Appbrain) a bunch of apps to my phone. I want to switch to and use my wife's Captivate which is brand new. How can I get all of my apps onto her phone? If I put my sim card in hers and sync w/ Appbrain will it install all of the apps I have on mine? If I put her sim card in my old Captivate and sync her Appbrain account will that erase my old apps and install hers?
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust got it last night at ATT b&m (for $149!!) and yes (as my lovely wife can attest) I was captivated for many an hour. Battery cycling. Overall VERY good despite the posts I've read. Very intuitive UI but I could see where some mods would be sweet. EXCELLENT GPS performance; 15-30 sec fixes INDOORS with 5-10m accuracy w/out WiFi. My BJII was never this good. Excellent You Tube performance WITH HQ playback. 8GB SDHC works flawlessly, My only suck is phone contacts transfer from WM6. BTW - bod was 7/22/10. Now on to the Market, sideloading and may be root.
View 4 Replies View Relatedso I went to sync my movies using the V Cast Media manager and it told me I could not copy my "digital copy" movies to the phone. Does anyone know how to get them to the phone to play? I can move them over using simple file manager (not the V Cast Media manager), however they still will not play. Anyone else able to get this to work? These are my ligit digital copys of the movie, so I don't know why it will not work.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have the camera resolution set to superfine(5mp) and it takes really good pics.However,when I transfer them to my laptop and try to view them with the windows photo viewer they aren't anywhere near the resolution I took them in.Is there something I did or not doing ?,I took a 5mp Pic,transferred it to my pc and it showed up at less than 15kb in size when it should have been like 2-3 megs.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen my car bluetooth downloads the phonebook from my captivate, it downloads some contacts, but doesn't download the ones from my exchange server. They show up fine in the contacts app, but the car doesn't receive them. I thought it might be an issue with the way they were put into the contacts, so I undid the built in android exchange account, deleted the contacts, then installed touchdown and populated it that way. Still no joy. I thought that originally it was downloading them correctly (using the built in exchange sync) but either stopped working correctly, or never was and I just now noticed it.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble transferring songs AND playlists from iTunes to my Samsung Captivate. I've tried a lot of things and every one of them just transfers over the songs from the playlist and not the actual playlist. I really like the Music Player Samsung has and I want to use that one, but nothing seems to transfer playlists to it. I've tried doubletwist (only transfers the music, not the playlists), iTunes agent, (same) dazzboard (doesn't work at all), and songbird (so buggy and slow, impossible to use... gave up) There has to be some way to get that player to work with iTunes or to import everything from iTunes and use it with the Samsung Music Player.

I needed to compress file to play on my bold, or it would be extremely choppy. Also, what about a 720p video quality movie? file size 1.4gb, will it be choppy?
2) Is there an app on android market for the android forums? one that will give notifications when replies or messages are sent? i know crackberry had one on the blackberry, but was really just a shortcut to their forums.
I've been using Moto Media Link so transfer music to my droid but I can only use it for like a couple minutes then it just closes on it's own, anyone else have this problem? I'm on Windows XP.

I tried the stock players & they didn't work. will Doubletwist play them? I really don't want to convert them over again.Also, coming from the iPhone, I loved the way it synced my podcasts - I see that people rally like Isyncr. Is that the best app to use? At this point, until I re-think my home media integration solution, I want to stay with iTunes.
