HTC Desire :: LauncherPro Boot Up ?
Oct 27, 2010I've got a question or problem.
If I've got LauncherPro as my standard launcher I have a problem when I boot my phone up. If I do not put in my PIN in time it further boots up without the SIM loaded. That means that I can't text, use data (except for WiFi), call.
I then have to reboot the phone again and put in my PIN. That's quite annoying when you're booting the phone up, which takes a LONG time. If I lay down my phone for a few seconds when it's booting up and I pick it back up, I can reboot it because I didn't put my PIN in time...
HTC Desire :: LauncherPro Animations Without LauncherPro
Sep 13, 2010I like Sense, but I also like LauncherPro.. especially the animations when you click the 'apps' button and the menu zooms in and has a 3d effect. Is there anyway to add that effect with out Launcher Pro ?

So I tried again and again it said it is installed but still no icon.

HTC Desire :: VAIO - Cannot Boot With Phone Connected Via USB
Jun 5, 2010A very strange problem that I have come across. I have 2 Sony VAIO laptops (TZ and Y series) and 2 Samsung NC10s at home. When I have my HTC desire connected via USB to the laptops for charging, I see a strange Start/ReStart/Boot behavior.
- Both the VAIOs don't boot... they start, reach the VAIO splash screen and then don't go any further. The booting process just halts.
- The Samsungs don't have any problem in booting. They booth just fine with the phone connected.
Has anyone faced this problem? I tried changing the boot order on VAIO, forcing it to boot using the internal hard drive only (thinking maybe its taking HTC Desire as one of the boot drives for some reason) - but it didn't help anyway.
HTC Desire :: LauncherPro / Fat Battery Drainage
Nov 15, 2010Downloaded this over the weekend and really liked it,especially the counts on the icons for Mial, SMS etc.
However, It is draining the battery fast.Using System Info I can see that when LauncherPro is installed android.process.acore is running at 100% CPU yet without it installed it runs at 0%.Any ideas what is occuring and how it can be fixed, or is this normal for LauncherPro?
HTC Desire :: LauncherPro Style Dock But Still Use Sense
Sep 6, 2010Is there a way to have a LauncherPro style dock but still using Sense?I like the way LauncherPro has Web/Phone/Text etc icons along the bottom which frees up screen space. Sense only gives 3 of which the '+' button is pointless as it is just the same as a long press. Would rather avoid changing altogether to LP if at all possible.

Sep 7, 2010I have an issue with the dock icons on launcherpro. If I use the hide status bar option I get an empty Black bar at the top and half the icons are pushed down at The bottom of the screen. Not all the time just now and again. The icons stil function ......I know its probably linked to an app I'm running But I can't find which one after many deletes and Reinstalls.

Aug 31, 2010Last week I started using LauncherPro Plus - excellent app and everything has been working well. until I installed Beautiful Widgets this morning.
1. Takes a long time to navigate from one menu screen to the next, often with a FC due to timeout.
2. When the widget finally appears on the Homescreen, it can't find my location (yes, I've tried all combinations of geolocation, GPS, town search, etc)
3. Weather will not update and the moon is always showing even though it's midday here.
I was so impressed with the skins for Beautiful Widgets - it's the last thing I need to complete my custom look using LauncherPro, and I'm very disappointed that they don't seem to work together
HTC Desire :: LauncherPro Bookmarks Widget + Dolphin HD Browser
Sep 13, 2010When I first got my Desire I used the stock internet browser. I added a bookmark for netcarshow.com. After a while I started using Dolphin HD which I found to be far better, and started adding several bookmarks to Dolphin. Fast forward a month or so and I'm still using Dolphin HD and have been using LauncherPro for the past couple of weeks.
The problem is when I add the LauncherPro Bookmarks widget to a homescreen. It only shows the bookmark for netcarshow.com; my saved bookmarks in Dolphin are nowhere to be seen. They all show when using the browser, but not in the LauncherPro widget. I've looked through every setting for Android, Dolphin and LauncherPro but can't find a way to import/export the bookmarks. Also used Astro to look for bookmarks folders (to copy/paste) and viewed the SD card using USB on my PC, but unable to find any stored bookmark data. The LauncherPro widget is excellent but I can't figure out how to get it to display the Dolphin bookmarks, any ideas?

I am however, having problems with the bookmark display in that it is not displaying the web pages in the widget as it should be, it just comes up with the name and a standard image. I have tried just going into the page but it doesn't work.

Jul 4, 2010This is the best home replacement app on the eris. I loved sense because of the widgets but after i bought "weather and toggle widgets." LauncherPro has been awsome. i love the scrolling dock bar,how i can adjust how many pages i have 3 - 7. and its extremely customizable. Im sure most people on here know about this but if you dont check it out. download it free in the market and hit the home button. a window should pop up that says launch with home, sense, or launcherpro. pick launcher pro and see for yourselves!!

Nov 11, 2010Launcherpro Plus seems to be laggy at times especially when pressing the home button while you're in a program e.g. Angry Birds. With touchwiz, this lag is completely gone, making the experience much better. With Launcherpro Plus, I'd have to wait a couple of seconds for the home screen to pop up. Is this just my phone, or is the lag a price you have to pay for an awesome launcher?

Nov 17, 2010I was using the plus version of LP, but it seemed to run pretty slow on my phone. Usually with menu selections (aka widget selection, or app selection when long pressing on the screen). The widgets also didn't update properly etc.I'm curious though is it might of been some advanced settings that I didn't play with. I typically just did an install setup my dock and homescreen, but never touched the advanced settings.Does anyone have some advanced settings they could share? Also my phone isn't rooted, would that cause all the lag with it? Cause honestly TW runs fine.

May 27, 2010You need adb and root. choose and download the bootanimation from here Boot Animations NEW! - Android @ MoDaCo. then place the bootanimation.zip into c:/where.ever.you.have.it/androidsdk/tools/ change or remove where.ever.you.have.it to the match your system. then hit windows key and r together. type cmd and hit enter. then type cd c:/where.ever.you.have.it/androidsdk/tools/adb devices (wait for it to find your phone, also make sure that usb debugging is on) now type adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local. when its finished reboot and enjoy.
