I was customizing my phone with Launcherpro, i changed the number of colums on my homescreen, and now the phone just keeps forcing close of launcherpro. I cant get past it, reset the phone and it came back right away! I hope this thing isnt bricked! Battery is sitting next to the phone for the next 15 minutes, crossing my fingers!

My purpose is to set headers for related items of grid view and for this i am thinking about to set the width of grid view different for header and sectional view's.if any other way 2 set sectional header for related items is possible?

This didn't use to be true. Something changed somewhere along the way, and now it'll save the "default action" for a little while and then it'll ask me to select again.

View 7 Replies View RelatedAnnoying that when I go to select a wallpaper, the "Pictures" option pulls up every single image on my SD card (icons for apps, CD art, etc.), when all I want it to do it pull images from my "Wallpaper" folder.
Is there any way to customize what images get pulled? Can folders (like CD art) be hidden from gallery view so that they don't show up in the "Pictures" list?
I have a 2.2 Froyo Droid X not-rooted and I really don't want to root it. I've pretty much figured how to create shortcuts with custom icons, and I'm using Launcher Pro and Desktop Visualizer for the shortcuts that are not on my dock... what I want to know is, can I customize without rooting the icons of the applications themselves or no?

E.g.

After Syncing, there DP is up, aswell as email address etc. It also changed the number to
44xxxxxxxxxx
I've found a solution. Go to a contact with the 44xxxxxxxxxx number. Ensure the contact is still linked to facebook
Menu > Edit
This brings up the Edit screen
Scroll down, Then add.
On the Drop down, select Phone > Work
Now, providing you only had one number for that person, you should have two fields. One called Mobile with their number this format 07xxxxxxxxx. (If its in the +44xxxxxxxxx format, then change it to the 07xxxxxxxxx format)
Press on the top field (the original one), then copy all.
Select the field called work, then press on the field, hold, and paste.
Now press Menu > Save.
Now press and HOLD the field called Call work, and set this as your primary number.
Once primary number is on the field called call work, you can now go to Menu > Edit.
Now delete the Field labeled Mobile
Go to the field called work, then change the label to Mobile.
Menu > Save.
This will now stay as your contacts primary number.
E.g.
Georgia Bowman
Call mobile.
07xxxxxxxxx
Send message.
07xxxxxxxxx
Instead of having 44xxxxxxxxx
Ive looked all through Desire threads and cant find anyone thats had this problem yet so lucky me i guess!
Whenever i sync a contact to Facebook, for some odd reason it changes the number for that contact. The number i have for the contact matches that of the number on their Facebook account.
I.E. 07890123456 on my phone, 07890123456 on their Facebook account( fake number, don't be silly ).
However, as soon as i sync the account to my contact on my Desire, the number changes to 447890123456.
try to call the contact and says numbers wrong, clearly because its suppose to be +44, not just 44.
have tried to edit number but still says 07890123456, and still wont work when i change it to +447890123456.
Anyone able to help?
After I have rooted my G4 and installed the CWM 6 the serial number of my phone changed to "0123456789ABCDEF". How can I restore the original one?

I would like to add a small app/widget button to my home screen that when pressed will dial my girlfriends number. I know you can use the contacts widget and add people to that, but I really only need it for my girlfriend and I don't want a huge screen hog like the contacts widget. Just one small icon would be great. Can it be done?

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy work number is a contact, if I choose that contact to dial, the X goes to do it but in the reception bars area a red circle appears and the screen reverts back to the previous one. I can dial other numbers fine and there is service. My work number is also in all my co-workers contact cards as well. I had one contact that I deleted and added again, and then the X would dial and the call go through. Any thoughts? It is only a few numbers this happens with, no pattern I can see yet.

To see the numbers, I have to edit the contact. This is only true for some, not all. Is there a setting somewhere that this is controlled? 2) Sometime when I go into my contact list, I see a list of social media items for my contacts instead of their names (which is very frustrating). LauncherPro has been awsome. i love the scrolling dock bar,how i can adjust how many pages i have 3 - 7. and its extremely customizable. Im sure most people on here know about this but if you dont check it out. download it free in the market and hit the home button. a window should pop up that says launch with home, sense, or launcherpro. pick launcher pro and see for yourselves!!

I figured it was because I was running LP at that time, so I switched to another launcher and then tried to uninstall LP, but could not find it.So I have LP, I just can't install it.
