And I have the Modaco mod, and I know it said there was a chance it could go wrong. But I tried nandroid restore and it didn't work, now I'm still in a boot loop, what should I do?

Every time I flash a different Kernel my Evo goes into a boot loop. I am using RA-Recovery, and wiping Data/cahe and dalvik before flashing. I flashed a new ROM and was able to install Kernel one time, any more than that and the Boot loop starts, even if i flash the first kernel that did work it still loops on me. I was on Clockwork and changed over to RA, that did not help, tried both BFS and CFS and no change. Tried Kingx 8 and 9, netarchys 4.18 and 4.19. I flashed 3.28.651.1 then netarchy's 4.1.9 and it started the BL, then reflashed 3.28 and tried kingx 9 and it worked, I'm beginning to wonder if there is something with netarchy's kernels that my Evo doesnt care for? I should add that this time when wiping i only wiped cache and dalvik and left the data alone. I suppose the only real way to find the culprit is to test out all the variables.

View 6 Replies View Relatedso using this I got it working with Defrost 2.6a and 32.43.00.32U_5.09.00.20.zip. I then poked around in the Defrost app and saw the battery mod so I applied it. After a while, though, I decided I didn't like it and wanted to go back to this one. Here's the stupid part - I then went into ROM Manager and applied it. Now, the phone is stuck in a boot loop with the Nexus One animation. I am sure there's an easy fix, but I seriously don't know what I'm doing. I'm just flying by the seat of my pants here. I did a back up using both ROM Manager and Titanium Backup. I can get to recovery mode, but can't find any backups.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis is my first problem with my EVO, so I'm not sure if it's been addressed. When I enable wifi I see:
- "Obtaining address..."
- "Remembered, secured with WEP"
Then repeats this process over and over, and the phone heats up quite a bit. I installed the most recent update, and am waiting for Froyo. Is this something that's been solved with 2.2, or is it another issue?
Since the update my Eris has been in a constant loop of trying to power on. It only ever gets to the silver htc on the black screen then it goes completely black and then goes back to the red smear for verison and the little droids then over again. I've already taken out the battery and tried again but no help.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I got my X yesterday. about 20 minutes in to downloading my apps the phone locks up and goes into a boot loop. I was having a mini panic attack right there in the middle of Sam's club! I finally get into the menu and perform a facotry reset. Problem solved? No It powers back up and as I'm going thru the activation process, the phone reboots again! WTF! I wait for it to come back on and I finally get it activated. Well as I'm going thru the menu checking the settings it reboots AGAIN. So all in all last night it randomly rebooted about 15 times while I was doing something different almost everytime.

I flash and then I install the ROM and everything goes well until the boot up screen. It gets stuck in a loop of the Droid and Droid Eye animation (For over 10 minutes) and I have to restore it. View 2 Replies View RelatedI was listening to music as I always do. I didn't realize it but the phone (Rezound) drained a bit faster than expected and died completely. So I went to to charge it, and left it overnight, off naturally, now when I power it on, its stuck on a boot loop.
It goes throught the startup animation, and once it gets to Sense, in the few seconds before the radios kick in and it finds the cell service, it reboots and starts all over again. Only way to get it to stop is pulling the battery out.
I started to do the hard reset, but when I got to the window for it, all I saw was Factory Reset (I guess they are the same) so I selected the option for reboot.
The light to charge does show its charging, and at one point, when I had it plugged in this morning, and managed to swipe the ring to get to my swipe lock screen, it was saying I was at 99%. then it goes all slow and then rebooted.
I used the factory wall charger, and its drained I think once or twice before, and I have done the FoxKat method of calibrating before this. Not sure if its a battery thing, since it will power up, or not.
I'm stock, non rooted, on GB.
I don't really want to do a factory reset as I'd like to have my messages saved. I did save them last week when I saw ICS was available, but i have some new since. I'm pretty sure my pictures and videos will be saved during the reset. I don't think that folder gets wiped. However I was going to try going to a VZW store to see about a new battery. The phone is new since June.
So I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 X (GT-7560M) and basically I tried to flash CM11 on it, and when after the reboot, the phone was stuck in a boot loop and I can not access nor the Recovery mode nor the Download mode. I did try a USB jig and still no luck.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought my phone 3 months ago and I had no problem with it "except the usual low in-call volume and battery life" but then I went on and I updated to R2BA026 firmware. First I did it OTA and the phone started restarting by itself and entering into constant restart loops. So I though it was a defective update and reupdated the device through SEUS to the same version but the problem is still there. The only way to get the device out of the restart loop is to take out the battery for few minutes and then put it back and start it, it works fine for a day or two and then it does the same thing and the problem appears again. I tried removing all applications and removing the memory card but the problem still appears and there is nothing I can do about.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was on 2.2 rooted on my droid x. Attempted to install a replacement for the taskbar. The phone is stuck in a boot loop now. I've read about 5,000 different pages saying just use RSD. It all starts by saying; plug the phone in, let the computer detect it, install the drivers.. This is where I'm stuck. The only thing I have access to is the recovery console and the big endless loop. So at no point the phone turns on to the point where the PC will detect it as a device.

I've googled around but most people with a reboot issue it is random, mine is constant and has been rebooting constantly for over an hour, only way to stop it is yank out the battery but still can't boot afterwards.

I cannot boot into recovery either, tried that many times as well. My only option is a screen that I have not seen before that asks if I want to clear all data and then reset the device.

I pressed the power and down button selected clear storage and didn't help.If i chose recovery it just drops back into loop.Can anyone help me.

So here is a description of my current issue. My battery died a few nights ago, and I got stuck in a do loop where the device keeps rebooting but never gets to the navigation screen. The screens I see are:
* HTC Evo intro screen
* Sprint
* 4g with welcome tone
Followed by repeat of Sprint then 4g again and again............
I recently just rooted my evo 3d sprint with the the boot 1.5 and everything went well. I decided i wanted to overclock my phone so i followed zeemaxs way. Before going into the overclock procedure i decided to do the the RCMIX Evo 3d kernel v. 2.2.3 first so i would have better results when done with the overclock procedure.I boot-up the kernel through the recovery mode on the phone butit failed to load so i just rebooted. After that my wifi and 4g stopped working. So i downloaded an app on the market called "flash image GUI" which lets me flash the kernels through the app. I flashed the RCMIX kernel and rebooted and now im stuck ima boot loop. I COULD just go back and back up to my old rom and settings etc but the problem is i dintmake any kind of back up or recovery i think.

View 3 Replies View Related(HTC Desire running 2.2) Sometimes the init process enters a busy loop, consuming all CPU time. This has happened to me three or four times now. When it happens, Android System Info shows 100% CPU usage and if you run top in a terminal emulator, you can see that it's the init process eating up the CPU.
This makes the phone real slow and the only cure I know of is a reboot.I was going to check out the logs while the init was looping, but I forgot. I don't know how to repeat this - today it happened when I exitted VLC Stream and Convert, but it happened before I even installed this application.
I think this happened before the 2.2 upgrade as well and my son said his Xperia X10 eats the battery real fast sometimes - so maybe the same problem exists in Android 1.6 already.
how to root my phone but i had just installed the AIM app and got an instant message so i swipped down to unlock the screen and kept getting these error messages that all apps were force close and space full on both phone and SD card (i had previously gotten space full on the phone but i must have uninstalled about 8 sound board apps and the message stayed) then the phone went very slowly and the force close messages would not stop so i guess i did the stupid thing and held the power button and found it odd that the only option was power off so i shut it down and attempted to turn it back on and it showed the white screen with the HTC incredible and then the HTC brilliant and then the Verizon tsunami screen or splash or whatever it is but it kept repeating that cycle over and over again (note this was not from an attempted root) i can put it into recovery mode and i was wondering what i can do from the recovery screen and if i can root it from the recovery screen. I'm sorry but i have no idea on how to root but if someone could help it would be much appreciated. and thank you for reading my long winded post but i wanted to be as detailed as possible.

I've taken the battery out multiple times, but it does the same thing. The animation starts up then freezes after ~3 seconds, then the animation starts again and it just repeats. Can anyone help me fix this?

Installed it and turned on my phone and now I get stuck with in a boot loop. re-installing my old card and it boots ok. so I figured I could make a new nandroid back up and just restore it. where do nandroid backups get stored on the sd card? I have a nandriod folder but it doesn't seem to contain the one I just made. I'm running the latest fresh 3.2
View 14 Replies View RelatedI know this topic has been discussed at length, but in weeks of searching, I can't seem to find any help with my particular problem. I've had my phone since July with no issues whatsoever. It's never been rooted. I got the Froyo update with no issues. I hadn't installed any new apps, just updated the ones I had as normal. Now, after a few minutes of use of basically any program, the phone reboots itself and gets stuck in a boot loop. I've done factory resets, and the phone is now completely stock - the only "extra" thing is my email accounts through Google. I got stuck in a loop last night, powered the phone off through HBoot and let it charge overnight. When I got up this morning, unplugged it, powered it on, within a few minutes, it's rebooting again. It seems if it was a hardware issue, it would've come up before now. I should also mention this happens with our without SD card, after formatting the SD card on the phone and the computer. I hate to say this, but I'm kind of missing the days of BB where I could wipe the OS and start with a clean slate. It almost seems like something in my OS is corrupt, but I haven't messed with that side of the INC to know how to fix it. I just noticed this morning that my signal shows no bars, but I'm able to make calls, texts, etc. Also, it hasn't (knock on wood) rebooted during a phone call, but will immediately after hanging up.

I was running Team Jellybeans V5 No Problem for the last little while (on my T959d)Everything worked great (minus a few glitches here and there of course)Saw the update for V6, downloaded, and flashed with CWM.
Did the wipes, (cache, dalvik and factory) did the wipes again after reboot,Now Im stuck in an infinite bootloop, (goes to samsung splash, then Devilkernel Splash, then CWM where it shows cannot mount e:/ (cycles too quick I can't see it..) then it just reboots and continues, I can't boot the phone into CWM recovery, can't boot into download mode, tried USB JIG, doesnt do anything,I can't adb my phone, can't ODIN..
Tablet hangs in Bootloop after installed cm9_nightly_20120721 + protab2xxl_compatibility_1.2.0 startet from cwm 6.0.1.0. Noticed that the "/data" partition only has 15MB of Space with 0B Byte free. I wiped the cache after installation with cwm, i am not able to boot to cwm again because key combinations not work on this device.
Got a T15A Generic tablet which has the same Hardware than protab 2 xxl, Goclever A103, Coby 1042 etc..how to get CM9 or CM10 running?
