I have just bought Xolo Q3000, all I cannot quite figure out is how to delete the extra/empty home screens to the left and right.
I have tried setting, tapping, and holding the screen but none of those give me an option to remove the excess pages.
I have googled this issue but no luck and i am not in favour of installing another launcher.

I have been reading this thread for a few days now alongside the vodafone one.I have had my phone for almost 2 weeks now and think it is really great, although one or two things annoy me especially trying to get used to the keyboard.I was hoping someone would be kind enough to help me with a few issues please.
1. I am not very techy and dont really understand a lot of the jargon used but would like to know the difference between 3g and wi fi and how do I know what I am using.
2. How do yo know how much memory your phone has and if you can add any more. I am frightened that all the photos, applications, videos, contacts etc etc that I will use too much memory.
3. How do yo delete shortcts that you have placed on your extra home screen.
4. How does this gprs thing work is that like having a sat nav?
5. How do yo get your hotmail to be sent to your phone I cant seem to work it out without have to just go to google type in msn hotmail then sign in that way.
6. My bluetooth doesnt work.
As I was adding apps to my home screen I accidentally added an app twice, so I have two Facebook launches next to each other. It really doesn't hurt anything, but looks extremely short bus and I don't want it like that. how I can delete the extra version?

As Im thinking of getting Indian smartphone (xolo a700), i fear someday ill mess up with my phone and get it bricked
I can't find much of stock/custom Roms for any of such phone
So my question is how can i create a backup,including system files and stock Rom so that i can mess up with my phone and revert back to stock Rom when i need to Im talking something like what we've for sgy ,the odin flashable stock roms, which work 99% of the time even when cwm recovery doesn't work of
What are these files in root / folder? Can I saftly delete them?

Here's my issue: I tried to open it and it prompted me to update. I tried this four or five times, with no success--before realizing that my problem was probably that I had not authorized an "extra fee" service.
Now, though, I've got five or six copies of the app on my phone. I can't seem to delete any of them. Is it not possible to delete the extras?
I'm looking to clean up my home screens a little and would like to be able to create one on-screen folder or widget that can hold multiple other widgets for quick access and easy launch. Specifically, I have quite a few ColorNote files that I need quick access too, but don't necessarily want clogging up my home screen. I'm hoping there's something out there - either a folder organizer, launcher, or widget that can do this for me.
I currently use GoLauncher and FolderOrganizer on my SG Note.

View 22 Replies View RelatedIm here because of my problem with SGA 2.Few days ago I bought ACE 2 and I found few problems with "external_sd".So the problems are
1. When I try to create folder it gives me error "Creation failed"
2. When trying to move folder from internal memory to external sd it gives me error like "Moving failed", while copying goes fine.
3. I can move/copy any file to sd card, but sometimes those files got corrupted, gives me error about memory when trying to open pictures, same problem when saved camera saved photo to sd card. Even getting error when trying to play video.
APK files got corrupted too.
4. When I have moved apps to sd card some while apps work great, but after some time cant launch apps because it gives me error about that app doesnt exist.
I tried formatting sd card with pc and android.
Factory reset.
Repartition to same firmware with Odin.
Wipe cache, wipe data.
I dunno what causes those error, bugs, glitches. Is it phone or android sytem?
Tried many sd card and always got same errors. But when I mounted mine sd card to another phone it worked perfect.
Can "tethering" on the EVO realistically replace a home internet connection on a desktop computer? I have 2 computers at home that rely on AT&T DSL for the internet (which is really slow). If I get an EVO, can I easily drop my DSL and instead use the EVO "tethering" feature? Is it complicated to use? That is, I sometimes just want to quickly check a website, and if it's hard to set up every time I want to use the internet on my desktop, it won't be worth it. Does it cost extra to "tether" the EVO to a home desktop computer?

Before this I had the Incredible 4G LTE and just pinched zoom the screen to accomplish this The Incredible also had more personalizing options which could be saved.
