My desire has slowed down in the last couple of days. My phone storage and memory are like:
Storage card - 4 GB - 611 mb free
In-built - 81 mb free
Would anyone know abt cud be the reason?

My Droid seems to be running a little slow/hesitant. If readers can list apps that have slowed there Droids down maybe I can catch the culprit.

View 20 Replies View RelatedScreen on my Desire occasionally lights up for 1-2 seconds for no reason then goes back to standby again. Happens once or twice every couple of days (could be more often but I don't stare at it the whole time). No notifications or calls coming in. I suspect it maybe one of the apps syncing or something, but as this happens so rarely it's hard to determine which.

I mean, it's like it was turned off and I turn it on. It play Samsung song and I need to enter the pin. I don't think it's battery stuff, cause the it would just shut down, or maybe I'm wrong. View 18 Replies View RelatedHave had my EVO for a month now and started taking photos with it and emailing them. Photo resolution (Camera/Settings/Resolution) is set set at 1280x768 and Quality (Camera/Settings/Quality) is set to High. All other camera settings are at default values.
The photos I have taken in daylight without flash, when viewed on a couple of different PC laptops (one an HP, the other a Dell) show a marked pink tint in the photos, which is especially noticeable in skin tones. This occurs throughout the photo and not at the fringes. Similar photos taken concurrently by a companion on her iPhone3 show natural colors and skin tones when viewed on the same PC laptops.
Anyone else notice the same? Is this a hardware/software/firmware defect specific to my unit, a general model-wide defect, or a function of camera settings?
Lately, I have been bugged with the above mentioned issue. Occasionally, my phone will restart itself for no apparent reason. It occurs in quite a random manner. The only thing that i did lately to the phone is to upgrade the firmware to R2BA020. At first I thought the installation was not done correctly so I repaired it using PC Companion but still the matter persists. Have anyone faced similar issue or know how to solve it as its becoming rather irritating.

Anyway, I have already tried reseting it and taking out the battery, Format SD card, Taken out both cards. Maybe this phone Really is a piece of shit. If it has, I am taking it back in the morning to Tmobile and getting my money back. Then I am Going to Sue Samsung for making such a piece of shit phone.

I just bought and IGO micro juice 2.1 amp. when connected make the phone think that is connected to a computer.I notice when that happen the phone charge super slow even with this charger rated at 2.1. if I run to apps at the same time its start discharging. MY 3 year old Igo charge alot faster even running a few apps at the same time.Is there any way that change that I feel that i waste my money with this charger if i canot make it charge like is a 2.1 amp.

Set them up, set the "Message" tone, set the alarm tone and all was good.
It wasn't long after that I bought a SANDISC8 gig SD card.
Coppied ALL files over and swapped the cards.
I am not sure exactly WHEN the problem started, but it still exists.
Now and then the phone is in my pocket and it starts making a sound. It isn't one I selected, so ignore it until it becomes obvious it is mine as no-one else is talking on their phone.
I look and it is a message/phone call/alarm.
They are NOT the ones I set. So I go through the process of seting them back to what I like.
Someone says it could be a dicky SD card. I shall test that soon by putting back the original one and seeing what happens. The only problem with that is that it is SO INTERMITANT that it is hard to know if it is or not really the problem.
I have noticed that Gmail is taking a little bit longer to sync, if it syncs at all. I have had to use the manual refresh in my Gmail app to populate mail most of the day today.I have run some tests, and it appears that Gmail will sync in random amounts of time. Sometimes 5-10 minutes, sometimes more than 15 minutes. Up until yesterday, it was almost instantaneous.When I send mail, or change labels, or delete mail on my Droid, the changes are noticed on my Gmail account within a minute or just like normal. It appears to only be a problem with fetching new mails.I have cleared the Gmail app cache, I have turned off sync - rebooted my phone - turned sync on again everything I can think of.

View 20 Replies View RelatedI am a fan of T-Mobile. I like the ability to pop out my SIM card, and pop it in the next phone of choice, bringing everything with me. This is especially handy due to the fact that I work on a naval base tha does not permit cameraphones of any kind. I like T-Mobile's customer service. They are always polite and know what the hell they are talking about. I'm pondering getting a Galaxy S for T-Mobile.On the other hand, Verizon's new Droid X looks amazing. I love that 4.3" screen. (had the HTC HD2 with the 4.3". Loved it) I would mention the processor and other features, but it seems these two phones, minus the physical keyboard I don't care about, are close to par.Verizon, I must begrudgingly say, also have better coverage where I live. This Droid almost looks appealing emough to stay with Verizon and upgrade.So, do I get the phone I'll probably like more, or get an almost as nice phone with the ability to remove my SIM and have a crappy phone at least at work. ( keep in mind that I have access to a landline at all times at work, anyway.)

View 2 Replies View RelatedHave you ever picked up your wonderful device and heard it squeak? And even in normal handle I'm sure you've heard this happen. Well, if you look close enough it only happens on the right lower side when you press in.
On the left side there is a hinge that the cover connects into, while on the right side there is the microSD slot. This is where the plastic presses in as there is not a hinge keeping it tight.Fix ideas anyone? Any way to fill up the SD space?
I am only drawing off my knowledge of the Eris here, but we have a similar issue where certain kernels dont work or everyone. The issue for us is that the eris ships with 2 possible touchscreen drivers, depending on the driver a kernel may/may not work on your phone-the touchscreen may become unresponsive after flashing.
I want to see if this could be the same reason for you guys. Can you post what your touchscreen driver is and which kernels do/dont work for you? You can find your driver version under the fastboot menu under touchscreen. (Fastboot is Send + End for the Eris)
