View 7 RepliesJust wondering what all your guys batt %'s are mine right now are at
Droid system 43%
Cell stand by 26%
Phone idle 17%
Display 11%
Internet 3%
I am running SkyRaider 2.5.2 Vanilla and would like the round battery icon with the percentages. I have tried a few that I found but all of them altered the original look of the ROM and I really like the ROM the way it is. Does anyone know of one that won't mess up the look of the ROM?
View 1 Replies View Relatedhow come none of the roms for the droid don't display the battery remaining in 1% increments. I just put a new ron on my girlfriends eris and it has this ability, just wondering why we don't have that, it would be nice.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I am trying to see if there is anyway to set the phone to do different things at different percentages. B/c once my moment it 5% it dims and keyboard no longer lights up. But I know it really isn't that low do to the well battery reading issue.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was panicking a little yesterday as I thought I would miss the delivery of my new Desire. This was not the case at 5:30pm it arrived and it truly is an amazing phone. It took me around 4 hours to totally kill the battery from new (when you get the battery it only has a little charge in it) so this I was really pleased about, this was with WiFi on constantly and using it nonstop on twitter, flicker, taking photos, android market, internet browsing and basically just finding my ways around the menus as i've been out of the game for a while. I really think that the worries I was having about not liking it and reverting back to my iPhone are blown out of the window, this device really has blown me away and the integrated twitter app Peep is also very good, although I am now using tweetcasterPRO. It had a full charge last night so I am going to hammer the phone today to see how quickly I can get the battery to go flat so I have a rough idea if one charge will last me through the day.

I know this comes in some ROMs and maybe some themes, anyone seen a stand alone option for people in root to add this ability in the MENU bar, not the task bar?

View 2 Replies View RelatedBattery Left was the first thing I installed on my phone when I got it. My battery life has been terrible so I've been trying to track down the problem. I woke up today, unplugged my phone and didn't touch it for an hour. Battery Left says I have 70 percent left but the battery meter in the status bar showed full. I uninstalled battery left and installed Battstatt and it shows 90 percent (2 hours later). Anyone else have problems with battery left? I hope this fixes my battery problem.
View 6 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to create a horizontal LinearLayout where we specify how wide percentage-wise each element is? Something like:
LinearLayout ll = new LinearLayout(); ll.add(new TextView("a")); ll.setViewWidthAtIndex(0, 30); ll.add(new TextView("b")); ll.setViewWidthAtIIndex(1, 50); ll.add(new TextView("c")); ll.setViewWidthAtIndex(2, 20);
Just wanted to put in my two cents for those getting bad battery use with the Fresh 3.3.0.1 update.

9 hr 40 min down 15% with moderate use. I use Exchange (with push turned on) ~125 emails, gmail, ~25 text and ~20 minutes in phone calls, Twitter, BBC news feed and No 4G. And just a note that I had a reboot in there, so that took a few % away.
Info about when the phone was last connected to the charger? I ran across that last night (my first day with the Evo) and I wanted to look at it again since I unplugged it in the middle of the night and don't remember when I did so. I've only had the phone since about 5 pm yesterday but I've put it through very heavy use and so far I'm 'very' pleased with the battery life. Definitely better than my Hero so far.

View 21 Replies View RelatedI'd like to be able to add some sort of battery percentage to my status bar that flows with the ICS theming (I have a Droid Pro running a CM9 port).
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am looking for a battery application that goes more in-depth then just "android system". I wanna know which specific app helped my battery go from green to red.
View 7 Replies View RelatedStock battery indicator in the status bar was bugging me, since it was constantly showing more charge than all other battery apps (widgets, Spare Parts). After looking in
/system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable/stat_sys_battery.xml
I could see that Samsung changed battery level thresholds compared to other Android releases (sources found on net). I have made a mod which changes the levels to the ones in the right column (source). Tested only on this 1.6 firmware: Baseband version I7500XXJB2, Build number Donut.XXJB6. Do not change /system/framework/framework-res.apk directly, the phone might not boot if it is not signed again after changing! Make all necessary backups!
You will need Metamorph to apply it, but since we have only 1.21 MB available on /system partition with this firmware, we will have to move Maps.apk to /data/app. The procedure (if you are not sure what each step does, do not proceed):
1. root the phone
2. copy busybox to /data/local/bin and give it execute permissions
3. install Metamorph from the Market
4. mount /system as RW (via "Root explorer", for example)
5. Run Metamorph. It will check for necessary files, and copy zip to /system/bin/zip. You can move it to /data/local/bin/zip to save some space on /system, and create symlink with this: ln -s /data/local/bin/zip /system/bin/zip
6. copy attached Galaxy-BatteryFix-v1.0.zip to /sdcard/AndroidThemes
7. move /system/app/Maps.apk to /data/app. It seems that Maps work fine from that location, after reboot.
8. apply theme from Metamorph
9. reboot
If you have problems with Metamorph and copying zip app, run this command:
ln -s /data/local/bin/busybox /system/bin/cp (after renaming /system/bin/cp to cp.old).
To restore the original, use Galaxy-BatteryFixRestore-v1.0.zip.
Finally available for non root guys. Here's the screenshot of my phone. And just email yourself this .apk and install from your phone.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI find my status bar is very cluttered and has some unnecessary icons that I'd rather not have (particularly bluetooth, alarm, and battery [I use Battery Status app]). View 12 Replies View RelatedI used to be on a custom ROM called Cyanogenmod and really liked their circle battery icon in the status bar. I'm on a different ROM now that has no features and uses the stock android icon and I'm wondering if it's possible to get a white version of the cyanogenmod icon without having to change ROMs. I'm on an unlocked and rooted verizon galaxy nexus on 4.4.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMotorola Droid user coming from iPhone here. One of the features I miss is having the battery percentage indicated in the status bar next to the little icon (in fact, I'd rather just have the percentage rather than the icon). Is there an app to show that in the status bar? It seems the precision of the battery meter is by 10% increments until it reaches 20%, but even that would be better than just the icon.
