My HTC Calendar has stopped syncing to my gmail calendar.
I checked under 'Applications > Manage Applications' and it looks like the 'Data' is already cleared?
Is there a way to get it syncing correctly again?
Is there any calendar widget or app that closely resembles the HTC Calendar Widget?I'd like the full screen month view. Also, is there a slide-to-unlock app or screen to replace the default lock screen on 1.6?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have loaded the small calendar (HTC) widget on my home screen. Every morning when i turn on my phone the date on the widget is yesterday's date. When I set the time to 11:59PM the date changes when the clock changes to 12:00AM when the phone is active but the date does not change when the phone is inactive?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo the large calendar widget that I placed on my home screen used to show dark little tabs in the corner of everyday that I had an event. While I was looking through it, all of the little tabs disappeared and I have no idea what days I have events unless I go into the actual calendar app. Is there any way to keep them there permanently?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI played with the Fascinate today for more than an hour at VZW. I LOVE IT. My only question is related to the calendar. On my D1 I have many more widget choices including the calendar. This widget displays on my home screen and always shows my next appointment whether it is today or in a week. The next calender entry always shows. This is not the case for the Fascinate. It has a nice widget that shows weather, stocks, and at the bottom appointments. It only shows today's appointments. I downloaded a calender widget app that was nice and may work but it would not open so I don't know.
Now the question: Can any of you guys with the fascinate comment on a widget that allows the widget to display the next entry on the calendar. To be clear on my D1, if I have no calendar entries for today, my 10am meeting tomorrow shows up on the widget with a time and date. Can one do this with the Fascinate.
I have a question about the Calendar widget (the HTC one). I want to use the smaller of the widgets since I don't want the calendar to take up a full screen.
Is there any way to see more than one appointment without opening up the full calendar? You would think if you have multiple appointments in a day that you'd be able to flip through them from the widget, but you can't from what I can tell.
I have just started using my new HTC Desire (Android 2.2) and am having a problem with my Google calendar not showing up.
If I go to Settings > Accounts & sync, my Gmail and contacts show up, but no calendar.
If I set a new calendar event in my google calendar on my PC, the phone gives me a reminder on the notification bar, but does not show up on the calendar.
I have tried removing and re-registering the google account on the phone, but the calendar will still not show. Any ideas?
I recently bought a HTC Desire.(was a loyal nokia fan till now ) . It was difficult to get used to the android version of the calendar app, which syncs with google calendar etc etc.. But my question is - is it possible to create a calendar event - like in symbian OS , where you can choose - Event , Anniversary , Task (To Do) . Issue is , I have a lot of Bday reminders, and they are not exactly "ALL DAY events" and neither do i need a reminder set for that. I prefer the symbian way where its displayed on ur home screen - on that particular day for the entire day. Is such a setting (may be using another app) possible in Android ?
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhen I enter new events in the PC-sync calendar on the phone, I can enter (or modify) the date. The dialogue box that appears when I do this shows the date in MM-DD-YYYY format. I've checked all the settings that I can find, and I'm sure they're all set to UK/British. Am I missing something, or is it not possible to change this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to have events show up on my phone's calendar with different colors like you can on the calendar in Googlemail/GMail? When I try and create different calendars in the Googlemail/GMail calendar the events show up on my phone, but they don't have the same color as the calendar on the PC.
View 4 Replies View Relatedjust got the phone a week ago.i'm using Google Calendar exclusively for all my date keeping. it's great to see that the default calendar apps sync with google calendar (GC)now, in GC (the web version) i set up the default reminders for new appointments to be a) email and b) sms.i noticed that, in order to get notifications on my PHONE as well, i need to add c) pop up to it. tested and that seems to work fine. will that pop up show anywhere else as well though? i never used that notification option before.and i noticed the following two annoying things:
1) default appointment notifications not set when appointment made using phone calendar application
when i make a new appointment from my PHONE, it shows up on the web version after a sync, that's all very cool. BUT then the appointment does not get assigned the default notification options (email and SMS), it only has pop up. any way to work around that? can't seem to find options for that.
2) when appointment made via application, web version of the appointment shows me as a GUEST who has confirmed that's a bit rubbish?! i.e. the experience is totally different from the appointments i set using the web version of GC.
Does anyone know of an widget that i can put on the homescreen for quick access to stop for phone from sleeping?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been looking for an agenda tool/widget for my Android phone. I've narrowed it down to these two (PLEASE don't post suggesting other alternatives!! And note that I don't mean the Pure Grid version!). I've been searching for half an hour, but I can not find anything that compares these 2 apps or shows any diffs between them. The best I've seen is comments like " beats hands down", with no explanation as to WHY.As far as I can see, for my purposes (using Google Calendar & Astrid), the only difference between the 2 is the PRICE! Both come in numerous widget sizes, both integrate with Astrid & Google, both are scrollable, both are skinnable. So why choose one over the other? (Or, really, why choose Pure Calendar over Android Agenda, given that the latter is free?) I wish I could just test both out but the Pure widget series has no demos
View 3 Replies View Relatedall my contacts are google contacts with several linked to Facebook accounts. When I access my contacts through the People widget, all's good, I only see the google contacts (I've deselected Facebookers in the view menu). However when I access the Messages widget all my contacts are doubled up for some reason. I realise this list is also showing facebook contacts as well as google contacts but even the non-facebook contacts are doubled up.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI haven't found one yet. Looking for something that is similar to HTC's calendar widget (not the full one, the 1x4 that just shows your events for 1 day) that will show what I have scheduled for the current day.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a Calendar Widget. I don't like the stock one that much. I've heard a lot about Beautiful Calendar, but I don't see it in the Market. Is it not available for 1.5? I'm also in Canada, and I can't seem to see any paid apps. Anyone know a great one that will work with 1.5?
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy calendar widget - the third one that shows the only today's date and any upcoming events - is not updating! It will show the correct event for that day/time, but not the correct date. It will show the date you added the widget and never update....Am I missing a setting to get this to update?
View 15 Replies View RelatedI use the smaller of the 2 options for the HTC calender widget. Is there a way to set it so when I touch either part of the widget the Agenda shows up rather than the calendar or the specific appointment?
View 2 Replies View RelatedRunning MIUI v3 and realize there isnt a calendar widget.
I heard good stuff about Pure Calendar widget but i was looking for other opinions before I committed.
What is your calendar of choice, keep in mind I need to find one I can download so stock calendars are out of the question.
I use Astrid so it needs to work with that
so how does this work i got a event i want to be reminded of, but it says 10 mins 5 mins ect... but does that mean ur reminded 5 mins before 10 mins before or reminded every 10 mins or 5 mins, because theres a option that says 1 week so idk that means it reminds u 1 week before or once a week.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am new to Android, Google calendar and the Captivate phone. Have successfully imported my old calendar to Google Calendar which initially synced with the calendar on my captivate. However, when I add a new event to my phone calendar, it does not automatically show up on the Google calendar. the Samsung rep told me I have to edit each new even to mark it as a "Google Calendar". Is there any way to make this the default option on the Captivate phone? I am hoping to have automatic syncronization b/t the phone and the Google calendar without having to force it to do so each time.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am looking for a calendar UI. Something like the Calendar UI of the Calendar Android Application but only with the view. (I know that's open source so I can extract the UI but it's a long process to remove all the staff unnecessary) Is there any open source Calendar UI project for android ?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I was looking through all the calendar widget threads and everyone was saying that the samsung one sucks. But I was looking through my phone and I don't even have an option for a calendar in the android widget menu or the samsung widget menu. Unless you count the calendar clock?
But even on the little icon where it says Samsung widgets, there is a picture of a calendar widget but I don't have it!
Soo anyways question is..Is this just my phone? Or am I just dumb and there isn't one?
Does anyone use the calendar widget that shows the next upcoming event? And if so, does yours seem to be off by a day or so? It'll say Todayevent) and then it'll have whatever I have for the next day, and not the current day.
