Running MIUI v3 and realize there isnt a calendar widget.
I heard good stuff about Pure Calendar widget but i was looking for other opinions before I committed.
What is your calendar of choice, keep in mind I need to find one I can download so stock calendars are out of the question.
I use Astrid so it needs to work with that

I have a question about the Calendar widget (the HTC one). I want to use the smaller of the widgets since I don't want the calendar to take up a full screen.
Is there any way to see more than one appointment without opening up the full calendar? You would think if you have multiple appointments in a day that you'd be able to flip through them from the widget, but you can't from what I can tell.
Is there any calendar widget or app that closely resembles the HTC Calendar Widget?I'd like the full screen month view. Also, is there a slide-to-unlock app or screen to replace the default lock screen on 1.6?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhile the stock calendar widget is great, it is limited in the size selection.I am looking for a good calendar widget that looks nice, provides multiple size options, and syncs with a task application like Astrid. Currently I use the stock calendar widget (that takes up a full screen) and have an Astrid widget on another screen.It would be nice to have a widget (preferably free) that does both (or it can sync with a different task management app if someone has a better one than Astrid).I know about the Pure Calendar widget and that seems to be the highest recommended one, but are there any others?

I have the calendar syncing with my gmail calendar, which has multiple calendars inside (mine, my wifes, ours, baseball schedule, cavs schedule, etc..)
I also have the stock "mail" (not Gmail) application syncing with my exchange at work.
Since I got 7 home screens to work with, I wanna put my Gmail calendar on home screen #1, and my exchange calendar on home-screen #7. Sort of a seperation of home and work
So I put the stock widget on home-screen#1, and again on home-screen#7. But a widget is basically just a frontend for an app running in the background. When I go to home-screen#1 and select MINE, WIFES, and CAVS.......that selection affects the widget on home-screen #7 as well. I go to screen #7, tell it to display Exchange only.......and when I go back to #1, it is switched to exchange.
So.....any way to do what I want?
1) Have a calendar on home-screen#1 that shows my Gmail calendar(s)
2) Have a calendar on home-screen#7 that shows my Exchange calendar
I finally got the Calendar to load everything into the Pure Calendar Widget, but the widget is supposed to also include all of my tasks from my Got To Do - but none of my tasks are in the widget?
I selected Got To Do in the Task section of the widget setup, included all tasks with and without folders...
Any ideas why I can't see any of my tasks in the widget? (and I already checked, based on the timetable and when things are due some of the tasks should be there now)
installed overclock kernal and now for some reason every b day thats in my facebook is now synced to my calender wiget. how do i get this to stop and go back to only have reminders that i put in?

While I was looking through it, all of the little tabs disappeared and I have no idea what days I have events unless I go into the actual calendar app. Is there any way to keep them there permanently?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI played with the Fascinate today for more than an hour at VZW. I LOVE IT. My only question is related to the calendar. On my D1 I have many more widget choices including the calendar. This widget displays on my home screen and always shows my next appointment whether it is today or in a week. The next calender entry always shows. This is not the case for the Fascinate. It has a nice widget that shows weather, stocks, and at the bottom appointments. It only shows today's appointments. I downloaded a calender widget app that was nice and may work but it would not open so I don't know.
Now the question: Can any of you guys with the fascinate comment on a widget that allows the widget to display the next entry on the calendar. To be clear on my D1, if I have no calendar entries for today, my 10am meeting tomorrow shows up on the widget with a time and date. Can one do this with the Fascinate.
I did a search but cant seem to find an answer. I finally got my work email set up through active sync. Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)

View 35 Replies View RelatedAnyone know how to fix the glitch between incredible's calendar and google's calendar.I've read a lot of the posts online and tried all the suggestions.I can post online at my calendar on google and it will sync with htc's calendar on my incredible.I can even delete the same entry off of my incredible and it will delete off of google's online calendar. The problem I have is nothing posted on the htc calendar syncs with my google calendar online.

And note that I don't mean the Pure Grid version!). I've been searching for half an hour, but I can not find anything that compares these 2 apps or shows any diffs between them. The best I've seen is comments like " beats hands down", with no explanation as to WHY.As far as I can see, for my purposes (using Google Calendar & Astrid), the only difference between the 2 is the PRICE! Both come in numerous widget sizes, both integrate with Astrid & Google, both are scrollable, both are skinnable. So why choose one over the other? (Or, really, why choose Pure Calendar over Android Agenda, given that the latter is free?) I wish I could just test both out but the Pure widget series has no demos

It will show the correct event for that day/time, but not the correct date. It will show the date you added the widget and never update....Am I missing a setting to get this to update?

But I was looking through my phone and I don't even have an option for a calendar in the android widget menu or the samsung widget menu. Unless you count the calendar clock?
But even on the little icon where it says Samsung widgets, there is a picture of a calendar widget but I don't have it!
Soo anyways question is..Is this just my phone? Or am I just dumb and there isn't one?

View 13 Replies View RelatedI am wanting to take the calendar widget and app from the behold 2 and see if I can't port them over to my new droid. I really didn't want to leave tmo but as there service is severely lacking where I now live I had no choice. I can not seem to find an app like the one the came stock with the behold 2 and I really like that one.
What I have tried so far is to pull the calendar app off the behold and push it on to the droid no luck doesn't open.
I have also tried to use appmonster to install it from the apk but again no luck. can anyone maybe give me some other ideas? I really really want that calendar app.
What is the best calendar widget to get for the Captivate? Does anyone know of one that looks like the HTC calendar widget on the Aria?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince the Samsung calendar widget blows (for example my husband had drill this weekend which in my Google calendar as all day Sept 11 & 12; however, it shows that it's an event today as well from 3:00-4:00) I need a new one. I've seen Jorte talked about but I dl'd that and it showed his drill as being only on the 11th (which obviously I know if it's one day of the weekend, it's going to be the other as well, but I'm just worried about it messing up future appointments). So what's everyone else using? Doesn't have to be a free option.
