I'm looking for a Calendar Widget. I don't like the stock one that much. I've heard a lot about Beautiful Calendar, but I don't see it in the Market. Is it not available for 1.5? I'm also in Canada, and I can't seem to see any paid apps. Anyone know a great one that will work with 1.5?

Is there any calendar widget or app that closely resembles the HTC Calendar Widget?I'd like the full screen month view. Also, is there a slide-to-unlock app or screen to replace the default lock screen on 1.6?

While I was looking through it, all of the little tabs disappeared and I have no idea what days I have events unless I go into the actual calendar app. Is there any way to keep them there permanently?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI played with the Fascinate today for more than an hour at VZW. I LOVE IT. My only question is related to the calendar. On my D1 I have many more widget choices including the calendar. This widget displays on my home screen and always shows my next appointment whether it is today or in a week. The next calender entry always shows. This is not the case for the Fascinate. It has a nice widget that shows weather, stocks, and at the bottom appointments. It only shows today's appointments. I downloaded a calender widget app that was nice and may work but it would not open so I don't know.
Now the question: Can any of you guys with the fascinate comment on a widget that allows the widget to display the next entry on the calendar. To be clear on my D1, if I have no calendar entries for today, my 10am meeting tomorrow shows up on the widget with a time and date. Can one do this with the Fascinate.
I have a question about the Calendar widget (the HTC one). I want to use the smaller of the widgets since I don't want the calendar to take up a full screen.
Is there any way to see more than one appointment without opening up the full calendar? You would think if you have multiple appointments in a day that you'd be able to flip through them from the widget, but you can't from what I can tell.
I've been looking for an agenda tool/widget for my Android phone. I've narrowed it down to these two (PLEASE don't post suggesting other alternatives!! And note that I don't mean the Pure Grid version!). I've been searching for half an hour, but I can not find anything that compares these 2 apps or shows any diffs between them. The best I've seen is comments like " beats hands down", with no explanation as to WHY.As far as I can see, for my purposes (using Google Calendar & Astrid), the only difference between the 2 is the PRICE! Both come in numerous widget sizes, both integrate with Astrid & Google, both are scrollable, both are skinnable. So why choose one over the other? (Or, really, why choose Pure Calendar over Android Agenda, given that the latter is free?) I wish I could just test both out but the Pure widget series has no demos

It uses a timeline in order to see upcoming events. The vertical line is "now", and events in your calendar move across the screen towards the line the closer the events come to happening.
I already use this on my Mac, and would freaking LOVE it if someone stepped up to make something similar for Android.
I just noticed that Reqall is a calendar option within Pure Calendar Widget. Anyone know how this works? I'm a user of Reqall and have been waiting patiently for them to develop an Android application.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is in reference to the one that comes with the phone. I like it because you can select a single calendar to show events from. I sync 8 calendars on the account I have my phone associated with but only want to see events from one or two on a widget. This widget seemed to answer that issue however anytime the phone is turned off and back on all that shows is the widget background with no data. If I delete and re-add the widget everything is back to good.

View 2 Replies View RelatedDoes anybody else have this problem? My Calendar widget that comes with Android (Calendar) has been synched with my google calendar, but it only shows events for tomorrow, and even sends notifications for those events a full day early.
Example:
Today is Feb 11th. I have an event today (we'll call it A) and an event tomorrow (we'll call it B)
The calendar widget has a blue bar across the top that says "Thu 11" This is correct! Below that it has a white field that says
"Feb 12
Event B"
If I click on the widget it takes me to today's page in the calendar application, the 11th which shows me today's event.

I am trying to find out what calendar to use on my home screen. I have the standard calendar widget enabled right now, but it's useless. It tells me I have something scheduled on each day, but that's it. The actual calendar app on my Incredible gives me kind of a bubble indicator for each day that is filled at different spots, depending on whether I have something set up for earlier in the day, middle of the day, etc. I want a full page widget that will do this, just having a marker that says that I have something on that day does me no good. I've also checked out some of the apps so far like Pure Calendar and while they are neat, they tend to tell me only a few days. I want the whole month laid out for me, so I can tell at a glance how busy any particular day will be. BTW, for anyone also wanting a widget with a layout on a day-to-day setup, check out Android Agenda, I use that for a text-based to-do list and it rocks, I just want a graphical one as well. I have stuff going on every day, but some are only 1 or 2 events, so the graphic layout is nice.

Since it's so hard to find which one I used, how do I delete the list of available options to choose from? Also, I added an entry but it takes forever to show on the widget.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI started using Pure Calendar today and love it.here is a "Select Update Frequency" setting that can change from 6 hours to "When Calendar is Modified."I left mine on 6 hours to begin with, but I have noticed that when I modify my Exchange or my Google Calendar (on my phone OR on my computer), the Pure Calendar widget updates almost instantly.Anybody know why? Is it a bug in the Widget? Or is it supposed to update the Widget instantly despite being set to 6 hours?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a facebook event in my device's calendar that is displaying the correct time on the main calendar, but showing the incorrect event time in two different calendar widgets I've tried, as well as the event list in the Facebook app.
To make matters more complicated, the facebook app is displaying a different incorrect time than the widgets.
I've removed the facebook event from my calendar, reinstalled the widgets, done a battery pull, resynced, and the problem persists.
I think the host changed the time of the event after I first synced it to my phone, but I'm not sure.
My calendar widget - the third one that shows the only today's date and any upcoming events - is not updating! It will show the correct event for that day/time, but not the correct date. It will show the date you added the widget and never update....Am I missing a setting to get this to update?
