HTC Aria :: Head Phone Volume Real Low
Jun 20, 2010the speaker phone is loud as Sh#* but when i plug my headphones, the volume is low even with it turned all the way up.

HTC Aria :: Ringer Volume Low Even Set At Highest Level
Jul 22, 2010I do have the option on that decreases the volume once I move it, but even before I move it, it's sometimes very hard to hear unless if there is no other noise. Could it be the actual ringtones? I used ringdroid to edit down songs and make a ringtone on the aria.

Jul 31, 2010i bought head phones (( gold tips )) and a 3.5 male to male stereo audio cable (( non gold tips )) to play my muisc player on a big stereo.So heres the problem when i first plugged it in my music would glitch , a head set icon came up not the head phone then the pic of the album cover would flip 6 times then jump the play list all the way to the end but the playlist wasnt ON random that sh*t broke my heart.Y my EVO ? anyway i called sprint and there advanced tect lol basiclly told me 2 take the batt out wait 3 min then put it back, so then i hooked it back up and it worked 4 a few minutes then started jumpin again.so sick to my stomach i just started pluggin it in and out (( slowly )) until the head phone icon came up and it would play PERFECT> oh and my gold tip head phone work great from the start.

Nov 22, 2010I'm writing an Android application that plays back voice mails using Media Player, which are just WAV files that have been sent to the device. When I play the file, it's played on the device's speaker, or else it plays through headphones if they're plugged in. What I want to do is play the file so that it sounds to the user as if it's at the same volume level as a normal phone call. Is there a way to route playback so that the file is played through the phone's ear piece instead of out of the speaker?

I always end up having to press the Keypad button to get the phone keypad to display (checking voicemail or skipping voicemail greetings)Is there anyway to have the keypad be the default screen during phone calls? It seems like the keypad is used much more than Speaker or Mute.

Aug 4, 2010My phone is notifying me that it is low on memory, which I assume to mean a portion of the memory that is independent from the SD card, because that has 1.75GB free. I would like to remove some of this data (it's probably because of my 500 pictures), but the only place I can think of to delete the pictures won't let me access them BECAUSE I have low memory. I've searched through the settings application, but can't find anything for manual handling of data.I'm pretty comfortable with technology, but this is ridiculous. Even my old Samsung picture phone had data managing tools. I hope I'm just not looking in the right place.I've got it plugged in to my PC via USB right now, but the folders aren't named very conveniently. I have no idea what is phone memory?
So I think by mounting the phone via USB, I am ONLY accessing the phone memory. In that case, I need to access the SD card, so I can move some of this stuff over. I'm very confused though, because when I open the drive in My Computer it shows it as being a nearly empty 1.84 GB drive, which the phone memory should not (as far as I know) have, especially if it's full. This leads me to believe that it is in fact the SD card, but AGH.

What would be the best for yahoo & hotmail? I'd like to have it push the emails instantly, but I'm okay with it being like a 5-10 minute delay. I noticed that when I set my yahoo address up on their given email program, it doesn't always show the HTML pictures in the message so I don't always get the email the way I'd like it to. Some come up, others don't, its weird.
So I was just wondering what the best email program would be to use to get what I want?

Nov 17, 2010All I can say is damn, My phone fell out of my pocket today and the screen shattered. Luckily I bought it at bestbuy and bought the warranty on it. So I took it in and gave it to them. They gave me some shitty replacement phone and mailed mine off. I have to wait 3 weeks to get my phone back! I haven't had my but only 1 week and 3 days. I love my Aria but damn is it fragile. I do have one one question, I have always wanted a Nexus One is that phone better than the aria and is there any way to put HTC sense on it? If so to both then I will probably buy one unlocked.

Jul 28, 2010After a round of hassle (many thanks to sontaikle), finally i managed to do some screen capture from my Android but right now I am thinking about this. Is there any way I can do a REAL TIME phone simulation on my PC. Its alike TV output from phone to projector (Galaxy S can do that) but I have other Android which have no TV output function from the phone, so I wonder if I connect the phone to PC and get the real time screen output (few second lagging is ok for me as well) to PC than I can project it out via projector during discussion, presentation. Sep 14, 2010when I'm using the Android emulator I can do "adb logcat" to see output messages (log / system.out.println) originated from my code. It also shows the stack trace of exceptions which happen during execution.But, when I'm using a real phone, "adb logcat" does not do / show anything. I also tried "adb -d logcat" which also does not display anything.Is there any way to get it working with the real phone?

Anybody have any thoughts about this phone? Is it a good phone? Is it comparable to the Moto Droid? To be honest, I plan on switching back to Verizon after all this mess anyway. Oct 29, 2010I'm trying to test a test app I developed on android 2.2 sdk on my htc phone with Froyo on it (2.2). In the emulator it works fine, when I export as unsigned app and try to install on the phone, it doesn't allow me, just telling me 'application non installed'. The phone has the settings to accept installation of non android application, so I'm not sure why I can't test on it. Is it because it's not signed?
