Jul 8, 2010I recently began using K-9 Mail. It seems to have good potential, but I can't find any sort of set up manual. One of my questions is what is polling and how does it differ from push email. I come from a BB and understand Push, but polling and setting it up is confusing me.

I was able to copy the APK from my desktop to my phone but now whenever I try to install the APK on my phone I get an message INSTALL BLOCKED For security, your phone is set to block installation of applications not source in android market.

Dec 22, 2009I followed Caddyman's instructions on what to do if the Native SMS app was keeping my phone awake all the time. After rebooting and letting it sleep for 10 minutes, my phone is still at 100%. I just got it last night so I just have Weather Bug, Handcent SMS, Facebook, Gmail, and Peep installed. I've never had a smart phone so it's possible on of the other settings is keeping it awake, but I have no clue which it would be.

Aug 4, 2010My phone is notifying me that it is low on memory, which I assume to mean a portion of the memory that is independent from the SD card, because that has 1.75GB free. I would like to remove some of this data (it's probably because of my 500 pictures), but the only place I can think of to delete the pictures won't let me access them BECAUSE I have low memory. I've searched through the settings application, but can't find anything for manual handling of data.I'm pretty comfortable with technology, but this is ridiculous. Even my old Samsung picture phone had data managing tools. I hope I'm just not looking in the right place.I've got it plugged in to my PC via USB right now, but the folders aren't named very conveniently. I have no idea what is phone memory?
So I think by mounting the phone via USB, I am ONLY accessing the phone memory. In that case, I need to access the SD card, so I can move some of this stuff over. I'm very confused though, because when I open the drive in My Computer it shows it as being a nearly empty 1.84 GB drive, which the phone memory should not (as far as I know) have, especially if it's full. This leads me to believe that it is in fact the SD card, but AGH.

What would be the best for yahoo & hotmail? I'd like to have it push the emails instantly, but I'm okay with it being like a 5-10 minute delay. I noticed that when I set my yahoo address up on their given email program, it doesn't always show the HTML pictures in the message so I don't always get the email the way I'd like it to. Some come up, others don't, its weird.
So I was just wondering what the best email program would be to use to get what I want?

Nov 17, 2010All I can say is damn, My phone fell out of my pocket today and the screen shattered. Luckily I bought it at bestbuy and bought the warranty on it. So I took it in and gave it to them. They gave me some shitty replacement phone and mailed mine off. I have to wait 3 weeks to get my phone back! I haven't had my but only 1 week and 3 days. I love my Aria but damn is it fragile. I do have one one question, I have always wanted a Nexus One is that phone better than the aria and is there any way to put HTC sense on it? If so to both then I will probably buy one unlocked.
