I don't have any vibration coming from my phone.I've managed to turn off all the vibrations except for 2:Phone vibrates right before it starts ringing (when calling someone)Phone vibrates when I long press an App.anybody know how to turn off the vibration for these features?

I have turned off all vibrations on my phone because I can not stand them. The only ones I can not figure out is when making a call. When dialing numbers, it has the haptic feedback for each number, and when you press send it vibrates for an outgoing call. Any one know how to turn these off?

I followed Google's instructions to get an obfuscated Android app that, at first glance, seemed to work. But there were some strange bugs introduced that are not in the un-obfuscated app. I kept turning off ProGuard options to get to this configuration:
-dontoptimize
-dontshrink
-dontusemixedcaseclassnames
-dontskipnonpubliclibraryclasses
-dontpreverify
-verbose
Still the bugs are there. Is there anything else I can turn off to get only pure obfuscation? Obfuscation would be nice, but I am willing to turn off ProGuard's other features.
I just got a droid Eris, I love it. One thing I cant stand about it is the freaking vibrate that happens whenever I hit a button, please, is there way to turn this off?

So my question is, does anyone know how to turn the vibration off for the dial pad? I got it turned off for texting and I have the noise off for the dial pad just can't seem to get the vibration off. The reason I ask is because my dial pad is realllllllyy laggy. Like it takes 2-3+ seconds for a number that you press to show up and I feel like the vibration is the reason for the lag.

It's great for chat and many informal things but seems to be missing some features that would have been very easy to implement.1. Automatic capitalization - no brainer - it should capitalize obvious proper names, the word "I" and the beginning of every sentence, or at least this should be an option. 2. Automatic punctuation - it should be an option to place a period at the end of each phrase (defined by when you stop speaking) and if the beginning word was "who", "what", "where", "when", "how", etc...it should be an option to automatically enter a question mark. I get that you can speak the name of the punctuation mark, but this option would make it more useful. 3. Numbers less than ten should be spelled out (e.g. "nine" instead of "9") It's so accurate compared to many that I've tried to use in the past, yet it doesn't have these super-basic and very easily implemented features. It makes it less useful for e-mail, especially corporate e-mail, where the mail needs to not resemble a high school text message.

View 15 Replies View RelatedWe'll this is a deal breaker for me, after being pretty happy with the RUU update and the speed improvement it brought to the stock music player.When using the turn by turn navigation, every time the voice comes in the player puts itself on pause.After the instruction is over it remains paused instead of resuming.Then I have to manually hit play again to resume playback.This is a big deal while driving since I don't want to be fidgeting with my phone every couple seconds.This was not an issue with 2.1 , since as soon as the turn by turn instruction was gone the music would automatically resume.
