I recently had my phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) rooted and flashed. When I receive an incoming call, the strobe light is flashing. How do I turn this off?
I have 3 Minit Settings.. not sure if this means anything.

If I don't clear my notifications of the new text(s) right away, the blinking light kills my battery. I do want to keep the notification on my drop down bar, I just want the blinking light to stop. Is there anyway to do this? I know I can take off the blinking light and drop down bar notification, but I don't want both gone, only the blinking light.

I just got a samsung galaxy proclaim. All i want is an app that can make the 4 soft touch buttons on the bottom of the phone be light up whenever the screen is lit up. The phone is for my dad, who cant see the best, and he can never see the buttons when they are not lit. I am very tech inclined and have rooted my thunderbolt and modded the hell out of it and flashed roms all the time last year. I really can not find anything out there app wise, and there is not other option other than holding your finger over the light sensor on the front of the phone.
The phone is not rooted, but i could root it if that is necessary. would rather not as i see it presenting new possibilities for problems for a VERY beginner user just learning what texting means.
Is there a way to keep the LED light on and exit the flashlight app? i was trying to do a use the LED light along with a tango call but the stock widget wont allow you to keep the light lit. is there another way?

I don't have bluetooth on and have been using 2.2 build frf83 for about a week and yesterday while watching tv i noticed the change. This is a huge pain when you are taking a photo and have to go through several steps to turn on a light that should have been an automatic flash to begin with or at least have a quick toggle button on the same camera screen. View 7 Replies View RelatedI was holding my phone and wanted to wash my hands, so I placed my Samsung S2 next to the sink (I was pretty dumb, I should've put it inside my pocket instead. ) , and while washing my hands, the water jumped and hit my phone and my phone was about to die (1% Battery) and it died at the same time.
But my phone went to Factory Mode, you know that things like, "Factory Mode" and stuff "Don't turn off", so I didn't turn it off and waited, after that, the phone died. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a ListView in my app that has a background image. All of the rows are a semi transparent white (#35FFFFFF). Whenever I scroll the list, the rows turn a light green that obscures the background image until I stop scrolling (usually--sort of unpredictable). Sometimes it flickers between the background image/color and the green. And yes, I have set the cache color hint to #00000000. Any advice about this would be appreciated.

When getting a text/missed call, The phone lock screen pops up. And it will stay on until I press the power button. Is there a way for it to turn off after a few seconds??
View 1 Replies View RelatedNever had any problems, but just today, my phone just shut off. When it shut off, it kept vibrating, just small pulses over and over until I took the battery out. When it shut off, it had 100% battery, so I put the battery back in hoping it would turn back on. The samsung logo/boot screen came up, then it just shut off. It does this repeatedly. I tried putting it into recovery so I can reset it, but it doesn't boot into recovery or download mode.
Strange things: Whenever I hold down the volume down key, it does the vibrating pulse thing until i take my finger off it. And when it's on the charger, it does the vibrating thing the whole time until I unplug it, even if the battery isn't in it.
I noticed that a tiny spider on the wall next to my desk liked to chase a laser pointer...I also noticed that the strobe mode of my flashlight caused the spider to become disoriented and not chase the laser pointer.Anyway I decided to make a video of this on my Incredible. I recorded spider+laser and then added the strobe for a total video of about a minute..everything seemed to go well for the recording. When I played it back though, after the strobe started, the strobe frequency started to slow down and then the image froze while the time counter kept going. This is a pretty fast strobe of at least 10 Hz (just a guess on my part).I panicked a little thinking I fried a sensor somewhere, but I recorded another video that worked fine. Remember this wasn't a direct hit of the strobe, but bouncing off a nearby white wall WITH all room lights on.
