Have samsung galaxy 3 gt-i9300 running aokp jellybean 4.1.1 (phone is rooted), am using myphoneexplorer to sync data from outlook, all is working except i cannot find tasks list on the phone, calendar and contacts are fine. As in myphone explorer i can see the tasks and they should be on phone as well ?

Now I can't see any of them when I connect the Tab to my Mac using Android File Transfer. I can see the movie files are there in the Tab under Applications/Google Play Movies/SD Card. But I can't when I tether the Tab to my Mac.

I know I have camera app in the system as I have the camera app shortcut on the unlock screen and I can launch the camera from there. But I dont have camera in installed apps (in app drawer). I have tried installing the camera apk (install was successful) but still I dont see it in the search.

Because of this difficulty, I am unable to search and find web browsers that support inverted mode. Google search will always come up with tutorials on how to turn on inverted mode in the ICS browser, which this RUU version doesn't support.
Where can I find a list of browsers that support Inverted Mode/Night Mode?I do know Dolphin Browser dropped support for Night Mode.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI would like to be able to synchronize Contacts, Tasks, Calendars, and Texts between my PC and my Andoid phone. I would like to do this without using Google, since Google stores the stuff on their servers.
At the moment, my email resides on a server we own in a NOC.
I use Thunderbird with Lightning on my PC which gives me email, tasks, calendar, and contacts in one interface.
I then use MyPhoneExplorer to Sync with my Android. This gives me tasks, calendar, and contacts synchronized, but all in separate interfaces and then I've got K-9 for email which is again separate.
What I'd like is an email client that included tasks, calendar, and integrated properly with contacts on both my PC and my Android.
I'm willing to use pretty much any software on the PC and on the Android, but I've found nothing that does this cleanly.
My tasks are email centric, meaning that I create tasks out of emails because that's how I get work requests.
I'm willing to use any combination of apps on my PC and on my Android, but the ideal solution would be one applications for all of it which integrated nicely with the Android phone contact list.
The Android 2.0 sticky thread seems to have digressed from the original subject somewhat and I can't seem to find the very latest news on how the GAOSP port to 2.1 for Galaxy is going since drakaz got the 29 sources....
Anyone heard anything, got any links etc to where the latest news is?

i know you all gona say that i should have used forum search which actually i did and i still cant find the answer of how to root (most resent or best methods). today i decided to go the way most of you went and root my galaxy so i could enjoy some of the features or customise the devise for it to be either faster or better somehow (particularly im interested in fixing HW acceleration of openGL). but my main problem is still that ADB doesnt show my device in the devices list after adb_devices command... i think ive tried everything: reinstalling drivers and NPS, SDK 1.5 r1 putting in debbuging, restarting phone even using USBdeview soft to uninstall all android and samsung drivers and try to make it work but still nothing... all day wasted, many forums read, downloaded KAM187s drivers and still nothing im on H8 firmware how to make adb recognise my phone and list it) plus i want some info on how to push this openGL fix on my phone after i root it (if ever) by the way tried on Windows 7 and XP sorry for making a new thread but i think im not the only one whose phone is not listed by adb as i read it on other forums.

This is because of the certificate that is instaled on my server. On my desire I could click on continue but on the galaxy it won't let me go any further and it returnes me to the setup screen. When connecting my Galaxy-S to the Samsung Kies software, my telephone shows up with an incorrect telephone number. I did change the sim-card (and subsequent number) since first using it, but I never logged intio Kies with the old sim-card.The phone is rooted.How do I get Kies (or my Samsung phone) to show my current telephone number?In the phone properties (Menu, Settings, About, Status) the same wrong number is shown.When calling, the receiver sees the correct telephone number. However it shows up on my Market application ==> download section. It says "Purchased".

Trying to implement simple dictionary. I want to make it so while the user is typing in the EditText box the list to scroll automatically to the best match. I don't want it to filter the list. For example if the user types "s" in the EditText I want the first word that s/he sees under the EditText box to be the first word in the dictionary that starts with "s." But the user should still be able to slide up and down and to be able to see the entire list of words. It is basically like a go to functionality. I used ArrayList to store my list of words. View 9 Replies View RelatedIn my college, there are several Wifi networks but when i connect to any of the wifi network, either it doesn't connects or if it connects, internet doesn't seems to work. I asked them and they told that they have enabled something like proxies. But they are not sharing the proxy with the students.
Is there any app or any tweak which allows to connect to these Wifi networks without proxies or is there any way to fetch the proxy from the network ?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace which I haven't had for very long, and I've only added on a few apps that I thought would be useful. The problem I'm having is that I keep getting a message coming up saying I don't have enough phone storage memory, and then I can't even receive texts coz there's not enough space. There is loads of space on the SD card (1.85GB to be exact), but only 17MB left on the phone's storage. I was told to use the Apps2SD app, but it can't move over loads of my apps, so I still have no room.
Do I just have to delete a few apps? Are there any settings I could change, e.g. moving contacts/photos/texts so that they save on the SD card somehow? Should I take out the SD card and format it somehow or something?
My touch screen doesnt work and i need to enter on my android to take my pictures back. I have no SD Card, they are all in the internal memory of the phone.I tried Kies but the phone is locked by a security code.
