My touch screen doesnt work and i need to enter on my android to take my pictures back. I have no SD Card, they are all in the internal memory of the phone.I tried Kies but the phone is locked by a security code.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFollowing different tutorials on how to root my device, they all begin with instructing me to enter "download mode." They all seem to say that I need to press Power+Volume Down+Home and, when the warning screen appears, press Volume Up. Well, I hold down Power+Volume Down+Home (I check a video to make extra sure I was holding down the correct buttons) and all that the device ever does is continually display the initial splash screen, the reboot again. If I let go, the device goes into "manual mode" in which it prompts to reboot, update the device or factory reset it. Am I missing something?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI flashed with "CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar.zip" and the the rooting as per this [URL] and it was successful.
But I installed font installer and gave access via superuser and after reboot, it dint turned on ( stuck on bootloader "Samsung")..
So I flashed SGG with stock rom via Odin and the phone got on, and again tried to flash "CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar.zip" but this time , i dint got the CWM. I am getting android system recovery instead on CWM... I cant root again!!
I tried flashing "CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar.zip" 3 time but only bin counter is rising.. i am getting android system recovery 3 <e> only...
why this smartphone can't enter to recovery mode nor download mode, whereas i had done correctly.

I have a samsung galaxy running android and would really like to hook it up to my touchscreen in my car. I know there is a module called mimics that allows it to be done. It is difficult to install into a monitor tho. Any way to connect it to a touchscreen another way? Maybe a Mirroring app and cable(s)? My galaxy has a micro usb out, it can be used as a video out maybe?

Can still access download mode. flashed cwm recovery ( recovery.tar.md5 ) and tried clearing cache and fatory resetting.
Can't mount and open /cache/recovery/log and last_log and command. format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p17. error mounting /sdcard/.android_secure.
The phone I'm using right now has a lock on it, so I need to enter a password in able to have access to my cellphone. Does the samsung moment have an option to lock your phone and enter a password to get in? I already looked on the sprint website, but if anyone knows (or can find out with their Samsung moment), it would be really appreciated by me! I really would like to buy this phone!

However when I can't make calls or send text messages, but people can call me, on top of this, when I turn on the phone it says enter unlock pin code, what is this code, how do I fix it?

I've bought a new phone (Sony Xperia Z) and got my sim copied and switched the SD card from the Desire to the Sony. However, there is still stuff on the phone. I've realised that at least some of my data was on the onboard memory and I'd like to get it back. So basically I'm looking for ways to get the data back.
I can't plug the phone in and pull data off because I need to be able to login to switch it from charge only to USB drive. Maybe there's a way to force this?
I read an interesting post on hooking a USB keyboard to android and it should "just work" (How To Connect a USB Keyboard To Your Android Phone). However, I don't have the adapter to connect it, and the Desire ran an older version of android with Sense on top, so it may "just not work".

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a brand new Samsung SGH-i727 that I cannot get into Debug mode, which means that I'm bored with it already! I want to ROOT!! I can navigate to the setting, select the check box, and it remains checked, however, it won't indicate Debugging mode ( in the status bar, with the pop-up or otherwise when connected to the PC), and I cannot access ADB to root it! I am at a loss. I have scoured the forums, deleted and re-installed the drivers, deleted and allowed the device to re-install the drivers, used different USB cables, including the original, and a decent aftermarket, used different USB ports, used different PCs, (Two Win 7's, and one WinXP, all to no avail. I am upgrading from a Cappy, that was rooted on this machine, but for some reason, the 727 just doesn't want to work!

Let me start off with a little background info. I got my droid november 6, 5 46am central time zone. don't ask me how but the vzw dude was letting me earlier cuz I had work. I was so happy that day leaving t mobile I did love my g1 but wen I read all about the droid I felt likt I had to leave her and move on. She did do a lot for me but time tells all and it was my time go and move on.Untill two months ago (Present time I'm talking in) I realized not everyone has the bubbly keyboard. I saw friends at my unit (I'm in the army reserves) that bought the droid a couple of months after me had flat keyboards n they were bitching bout how flat it was. I agreed with them since I was woth a g1 the keyboard was a bit flat but nothing to were its such a pain, so my friend shows me his keyboard and I looked shocked played with it was like wow and I pulled my n did a side by side side comprasion and this before I saw the bubbley keyboard thread on here. So unforunately my toucscreen starting doin its own thing like it was ghost writer and spazzing out. I had no control over it this happened monday nite and I was dreading it that I will end up replacing it. But it would not let me do nothing.I couldn't go ne where on my screen it would randomly hit different icons to the point were sum times it would call my contacts. I only had control over the physical buttons. So on Tuesday during work I fought the ghost writer to let get to setting a do a system restore. First minute of the set up was ok but right wen it finish and I was on the home screen again. I was like FUDGE I don't want to replace my rare Droid. After work I replaced it, I was real pissed I had the bubbly keyboard and (something I didn't noticed untill I got my replacement) the golden plated volume side button. I miss my precious rare droid. I was soo proud to be first non employee to have the droid in houston.

I did change the sim-card (and subsequent number) since first using it, but I never logged intio Kies with the old sim-card.The phone is rooted.How do I get Kies (or my Samsung phone) to show my current telephone number?In the phone properties (Menu, Settings, About, Status) the same wrong number is shown.When calling, the receiver sees the correct telephone number. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy Ace which I haven't had for very long, and I've only added on a few apps that I thought would be useful. The problem I'm having is that I keep getting a message coming up saying I don't have enough phone storage memory, and then I can't even receive texts coz there's not enough space. There is loads of space on the SD card (1.85GB to be exact), but only 17MB left on the phone's storage. I was told to use the Apps2SD app, but it can't move over loads of my apps, so I still have no room.
Do I just have to delete a few apps? Are there any settings I could change, e.g. moving contacts/photos/texts so that they save on the SD card somehow? Should I take out the SD card and format it somehow or something?
I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus currently. I also subscribe to Googles new streaming music. I have been trying to figure out how to play the songs in my car. We have a 2012 Chevy Cruze.
I have always been able to play music by putting the actual songs in the music folder.
I thought maybe if I used the function that puts the songs on the phone I would be able to search them up that way, but no dice.
Any workaround or a way that I can use the music off of the new streaming service in my car?

I commute between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland (UK) every week so my phone goes to roaming settings. I am on the Three network down south and so long as my phone connects to Three (UK) when it roams i dont get charged a cent. Sometimes it likes to jump to O2 or other networks and it is costing me a lot of money. Is there a way to fix the network its allowed to connect to without turning off the "roaming" setting?

I have SUPER SU, titanium backup, and ROM manager. I understand that all rooted phones must have a SU to grant apps access to the software. As for titanium backup, I have deleted bloatware and backed up and verified all of my information. I also bought the pro version of titanium backup. But for the Rom manager, I'm not too sure how to use that yet. I guess Titanium is for backing up and restoring, and ROM manager is for downloading the new rom?
So you have to download it from the computer, then move to your SD card. Afterwards, the computer part is done right? How do you get the phone in the mode to put in the new rom? And do you have to wipe the stock rom first?

As in myphone explorer i can see the tasks and they should be on phone as well ?

How can I increase internal memory of my Phone? I have a Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660 with Android 2.3.6 version on it. My phone memory gets low when I install some apps on it.
