General :: Galaxy Mini / CM 7 - App To Bypass Or Find WiFi Proxies

In my college, there are several Wifi networks but when i connect to any of the wifi network, either it doesn't connects or if it connects, internet doesn't seems to work. I asked them and they told that they have enabled something like proxies. But they are not sharing the proxy with the students.
Is there any app or any tweak which allows to connect to these Wifi networks without proxies or is there any way to fetch the proxy from the network ?

My phone only displays notifications from certain apps (FB Messenger, Snapchat, Tinder, maybe a few others) when it is connected to wifi. When I am not connected to wifi, I can still use these apps and send/receive messages, but when I get home and connect to wifi again I receive all the notifications I should have gotten earlier in the day. Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and BBM all deliver notifications just fine over the mobile network.

- Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini
- Android version 4.2.2
- sync and mobile data are enabled
- "restrict background data" is NOT enabled for the affected apps
- connected to Koodo (Telus) network in Canada

I got Samsung Galaxy mini 2 S6500D everything works fine except for WiFi. I did hard reset and when i try to turn WiFi on it says error and it wont turn on and when i try again phone shuts down.

I bought a Sandisk Ultra microSDXC card with 64GB to use in my Samsung s3 mini. When I put it in the phone doesn't find it (presumably); going to `settings` -> `storage` and scrolling down to the bottom it says
Mount SD card
Insert SD card
but it is greyed out, so nothing happens when I tap it. The SD card seems to work perfecly fine as a storage on my Windows 7 computer.
Googling around it seems I might have to format the SD card to fat32 (I tried first reformatting it with exFat, the default, and also NFTS, to no avail). But that is not an option when using `right-click` -> `format...` on windows 7.
So I try "Fat32Formatter". When I start it it claims the SD card is in NFTS format (even though it's formatted to exFat). Trying to format it to Fat32 I get the error `Failed to determine the drive`.
I also tried "HP USB disk storage format tool", but when I start it all the options are greyed out and I'm not even able to select a device.
Lastly I tried "MiniTool partition wizard", which indicates that the SD card is `(Bad Disk)` and doesn't let me format or do anything to it. I try using Partition Recovery Wizard on it, but that doesn't change anything.

I've had my Samsumg S4 mini for four months now and everything was perfectly fine.I've been able to connect to the WI-FI at home but now it just keeps saying 'authentication error'.I restarted my phone several times, 'forgotten' the WI-FI and re-entered the password but it still does not connect to the WI-FI.

I have a Xperia mini pro and it worked perfectly till one week ago because I face a problem with my WIFI.
when I turn on my WiFi and want to use it after maybe 1 minute suddenly it turn off and turn on again and it continue ... so I cant work fine.
Is it hardware problem how can i fix that???I change many kernels and rom's but still I have problem.

I want to flash CWM for the GT-S5570 but I don't know how to do it. I already tried the zip file from Clockwork but whe i flash it my phone screen goes like wtf but I can still use the recovery. My phone is rooted. Flashing with ROM Manager is my last option and I don't want to brick my phone again.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (model GT-I8190, Android Version 4.1.1) and as of about 3 weeks ago it will crash intermittently when I am using it. I have had the phone for just over a year.The battery will be well charged prior to it crashing. I will be using the phone and then it crashes. The phone will switch off and then will turn on again (by itself) and when the home screen appears the battery will show that its on 0%. This of course then causes the phone to turn off and then turn on again and so on....the only way of stopping this cycle is by taking the battery out (to stop the cycle) or by plugging in the adaptor. Indeed if the phone is plugged in then it never malfunctions and the phone works ok.
Also the battery charge has started to drop quite significantly - It sits on my desk at work and yet i cannot get through the day without re-charging it. When i was in the O2 shop the other day it dropped 12% in 5 mins.It usually crashes when I am using apps that in the past have worked fine but today it crashed when it was updating an app.I have deleted apps that I have added recently in case it is anything to do with them.I have backed up everything and have restored factory settings.I have not dropped it or got water on it etc.
The problem still exists.I took it to o2 who want to send it off. Is it simply a battery issue? It could be a battery issue but I dont want to spend money on a new battery for the problem to persist.

Today I realized that my GPS isn't working. My phone is samsung galaxy s3 mini (gt-i8190). i think it is because of gps conference. I found it in a diffuculty and i put it here:

Today I was on whatsapp on my samsung galaxy mini 2.I discovered than the wifi was not working anymore so i turned it off and on,but it turned off automatically.So i restarted the phone,long pressing the power button.
But the phone didn't start anymore.What happened ? I tried to plug the battery off and on,but still not opening...The charger was plugged in when this happened...

I was going to get a new rom for my galaxy s3 mini, I made a complete wipe, formatting system/cashe/data, then I was going to install rom but I pressed "Install zip from sideload" instead of "install zip from sd card".
In short I'm thinking that if I remove battery my phone will be dead until I can get a comp and flash thru that, so I don't want to do that. How do I stop this request?

As i wasnt actually aware of what i was doing, i accidently flashed a zip file using the stock recovery on my galaxy mini and yeah, now its bricked. After a lot of googling and reading forums, I assume that the phone can be fixed using odin. So, I have downloaded odin and put the phone on download mode, but when i connect the phone to the pc, there is no response whatsoever from the PC. But the phone is charging when connected. The phone can be booted into recovery mode, download mode and emergency download mode. I tried many USB cables, all the usb ports and 2 different PCs. Still no luck. I feel something is wrong with the usb port of the phone. It does look a little distorted as well. So basically, i cannot use odin and was wondering if there is anyway to fix the phone without using odin...

I have a galaxy s4 mini and since this morning it won't connect to the network (I am with three - they have checked there are not signal problems in my area) AND I can't connect to my wireless (definitely working as I am using my iPad to write this.
So when I go to switch the wireless on, on the phone, it flicks itself back off again and doesn't even go green like it normally does.
I don't know if either of the following two things would have affected this or not:
1) my phone downloaded some Samsung update yesterday (via 3G, don't know if it completed though). Phone says its using android version 4.2.2 - is that relevant?
2) got my phone on to the wireless system lat night (because of MAC address filtering) but it was working fine last night.
Anyway I have tried all the standard things - switching my phone on and off, taking the SIM card out etc but still no network and no wireless.
