all I need is simple instructions on how to move my pictures from my gallery in my samsung galaxy s3 to my sd card I've gone through settings I've gone through the camera settings but it's not moving my pictures from the gallery to my sd card and that's what I need simple to the point

I know that the my external storage is formatted correctly and that some of the apps are able to be moved to the card. But the move to SD card option is not visible.

Any way to move it my SD Card? If I clear the cache, it just re-downloads and creates new ones.

I have a few apps on my phone that allow me to choose a photo and then do something with it, e.g. editing. When I try to choose a photo, I used to get two options: 1) choose from Dropbox and 2) choose from Gallery. But at one point, I chose a photo from the Gallery and also checked the "default" checkbox. Since then, whenever I try to choose a photo, I don't see the two options anymore, it always takes me directly to the Gallery.
When I checked the "default" checkbox, I had assumed that there must have been a setting somewhere that would allow me to undo what I've done so that the Gallery would no longer be the default option and when choosing a photo, I would still get to see two options: Dropbox and Gallery. But I searched all the places I could think of and still couldn't find such setting. Where such setting is?
The phone I use is Samsung Galaxy S4 and the OS version is Android 4.2.2.
i have been unable to move/install apps to my sd card ever since changing to MIUI I'm not sure whether this is a problem with the ROM or not (i think i may have insalled applications to SD on a previous GB version of MIUI)
I am using a rooted Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 with the latest MIUI based on 4.0.4. before MIUI i was on CM7 stable and i remember messing around with some settings there to try and get my phone to read music off the sd card as well as internal memory-(where all my downloaded music was going). I also may have done a dodgy partition on my old 32gb micro sd or some how partitioned my internal storage of my phone...

View 1 Replies View RelatedAll pictures on my Samsung Galaxy S2 have accidentally been deleted. The files were on the mobiles internal memory & not a memory card. The mobile has not been rooted. Is there anyway to recover the files. I have read mixed messages online. Basic recovery software does not detect the mobile as they only look for physical external drives.
Have lost pictures that can never be replaced.
I'm a photographer so I have the need for several different folders in my gallery for various reasons. So far the only way I have found to move pics between folders is to go: my files>dcim>folder with pic I want to move>long press>select move>select new folder>select move here. One at a time. Are you kidding me? So my questions are:
1. Is there a quicker and easier way to move several pics to different folders?
2. Is there a way to select a folder before I start taking pics so that all the pics I'm about to take go into that folder?
3. Is there a better gallery out there that allows for all of this if the stock one doesn't?
It really seems like I should be able to quickly and easily do what I want from within the gallery. Like a simple drag and drop type of thing. I will be amazed if this isn't there, but I can't find it.
some of my albums are syncing (my main pictures album), but my screenshots are not. How can I fix it so my screenshots also sync to Google+ or at least to google drive? Note that my phone is not rooted
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my Samsung Galaxy Precedent last week, and after some bumps trying to get used to this, I've been able to fix most problems I've had, except with images in texts.
I can send or attach messages to texts, but I don't get any images being sent to me. The Precedent runs on Straight Talk's network, and has "unlimited" talk, text and data. It's letting me send as far as I know, but I can't get any incoming pics in texts.

View 4 Replies View RelatedBasically I downloaded the app ES File Explorer and I cut everything on the internal storage and pasted it in to my SD card. Everything worked perfectly except now I can't view any of my photos in the gallery, it seems as if they all just disappeared! I noticed something during the switch over from the internal to the SD card that a message about DCIM came up. Now apparently that has to do with photos and I just skipped it. I went into my SD card folder after and it only shows the pictures that have been screenshot and those that have been posted on Instagram. None of my pictures that have actually been taken with my camera are in my sd card folder neither in my internal storage.
Does this mean they have been deleted because I pressed skip during the transfer?
The phone I am using is the Motorola Razr I XT890.
I have pictures in the gallery that I think was pulled from an old blog I had on blogger. The problem is that I cannot delete these pictures. I have checked all file folders under my files. I have tried the long press method and put check marks on the pictures but the delete option disappears and all I am left with is share and about. I also connected my phone to my PC and checked all files there but these pictures seem to only show in the gallery. Seems if they are in the gallery then they have to be in a file somewhere? Sincing is turned off and the blog was deleted months ago.

Would using Odin to flash CWM Recovery and doing a nandroid backup and then restoring the phone to factory settings. Would it somehow save everything in the internal memory and fix the phone?
