Samsung Fascinate :: Hide Pictures In Gallery
Sep 24, 2010Is there a way to hide photos that are in the gallery? I can't figure a way to either hide them or move them to where you cannot view them when selecting the photo gallery.

Samsung Fascinate :: Fascinate Camera Photos Gallery
Nov 14, 2010For everyone who has questions regarding the quality of the Fascinate's camera, I propose this thread be sticky'd so that everyone has one thread to view and/or admire the quality of the shots from various forum members. These shots have to be unprocessed though! Be honest.I'm an avid photographer who loves his Fascinate and all the tricks it can do. I thought of something on the drive home last night, and this is my first contribution.The quality is pretty damn good, not too much noise considering the picture was taken in the dark. I loved how the picture came out. I'll try getting a broader sweep of the needle next time, but that involves revving the car.For those of you who want similar shots, place the camera into night shot mode. This involves a very very steady hand, or a nice stable surface. From a few trial shots, the camera's shutter speed in night shot mode is still pretty fast from what I saw. If you want similar effects like the photo below, I suggest taking the picture right before the action you want happens. Granted, that is no easy task sometimes.
This picture is another one of my favorite shots. The camera happened to set the shutter speed perfectly for a rolling shot. This was taken behind my window, so the quality isn't as good as could be. I'm extremely happy with the shot though.Oh and as a disclaimer, both pictures have been compressed due to Facebook's uploader The actual file looks much nicer IMHO of course

Oct 6, 2010I'm a photographer so I have the need for several different folders in my gallery for various reasons. So far the only way I have found to move pics between folders is to go: my files>dcim>folder with pic I want to move>long press>select move>select new folder>select move here. One at a time. Are you kidding me? So my questions are:
1. Is there a quicker and easier way to move several pics to different folders?
2. Is there a way to select a folder before I start taking pics so that all the pics I'm about to take go into that folder?
3. Is there a better gallery out there that allows for all of this if the stock one doesn't?
It really seems like I should be able to quickly and easily do what I want from within the gallery. Like a simple drag and drop type of thing. I will be amazed if this isn't there, but I can't find it.

Sep 26, 2010I thought there was something built in that would allow me to do slide shows with my pictures. However now that I'm looking for it I can't find it. Is there a way to do a slide show? I would really like an app I can start while my phone is docked so it works as a kind of screen saver/photo frame.

Should he simply connect to his PC with a USB cord and copy the files directly?

Sep 19, 2010On a Samsung Fascinate (not sure if that is relevant) does anyone know how to make pictures that come in to a text message just show up in the message. I got my first incoming text on this phone with a picture attached. I saw the message and a "play" button. Push the button, goes to a screen 1/2 which just has the text itself (which I have already read at this point in the original bubble), then sits for a few seconds, then finally goes to screen 2/2, pulls up the picture, with no text. If I go back to the original message, the play button is still there and I have to go through it all over again. Any setting/apps anyone knows of to just have the picture come up automatically as part of the text.
I am coming from a Palm Pre and the photo would just be sitting there when I opened the message.

Oct 14, 2010I'm using handcent and when sending pictures the recipient would not receive them. On my end it says pending and pictures never reach its destination. I have done this with WiFi turned off. Sending text is no problem but pictures is. Is there a bug in the handcent app? Just wondering because its getting frustrating. I have pictures from last night that never reached my wife and still says pending on the status.

General :: Hide Album Art From Gallery But Not From Music Player?
Feb 28, 2012 I want to be able to prevent all of my album art from being displayed in my gallery, and only to show the images/folders that I've actually placed in my gallery.
When i open my gallery, I see all the images & folders that I've put there,but I also see ALL of the folders with ALL of the album art..and this can be difficult.
Is there any way to prevent this? I want the album art to display in my music player-(when that album is playing).But I don't want to have to scroll through every frickin folder of all album arts every time I open my gallery to find pics/images.
Get's to be too much when you have over 20GB's of music and pretty much all of them have album art folders. Is this do-able?
Motorola Droid :: Hide Photos From Gallery App But Not From Music Player?
Aug 10, 2010When I open my gallery to look at the actual photos I have taken, I have about 50 other "picture" folders showing up that are really music folders that just happen to have album art in them.
I DO NOT want to use the .nomedia or ".foldername" method because then my music player will not see and be able to display the album art. I just want the Gallery app to ignore pictures in the music folder. Does anyone know of a way to do this?
