I've got a Samsung Galaxy tab 2 7' with CM10.1 installed but I can't move apps to sd card.
How does that work? There's not even a button there for moving it..

I know that the my external storage is formatted correctly and that some of the apps are able to be moved to the card. But the move to SD card option is not visible.

I have tried DirectoryBind but it seems to be not working on CM10.1 (it works on touchwiz perfectly)
Also I tried swapping memories (internal to external and vice versa) , it worked but installing apps from external sources will not work, or apps in /storage/emulated/0/... Will not be able to installed , but if they are on /storage/sdcard1 they will be able to be installed.. That still a problem ..
So any way of moving apps to SD on CM10.1 ?
trying to port cm10 to a china made 6" A13 Tablet, when flashing the rom
at start I get error status 0, fixed the problem with updater-script, now I have a error status 6
checked updater-script and build.prop, both EOL are Unix so I don't know where the problem is,
all I need is simple instructions on how to move my pictures from my gallery in my samsung galaxy s3 to my sd card I've gone through settings I've gone through the camera settings but it's not moving my pictures from the gallery to my sd card and that's what I need simple to the point

I'm running cyanogenmod 10.1 rom, GT-I9305.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE (SHV-E120S) device. Now the thing is that I don't have a CM10.1 for my device, at the most I have CM10.
But its closest relative, Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE (SHV-E120L) has CM10.1 for itself.
Now I was wondering, how can I get CM10.1 from E120L running for my device i.e. E120S.
Is anyone else experiencing problems downloading and running apps from the market due to low memory issues? Why did they only put 512MB of internal memory for app storage on this Epic when the AT&T galaxy version got 8GB of internal memory in addition to the 16GB micro Sd card???
My memory is full now, and without android 2.2 I can't move apps to the SD card. They should have provided all of their galaxy class phones with the 8GB internal memory.
I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" and I'm trying to move my apps to SD card as my internal memory is almost full. I've tried some apps from Google play but none of them work with me. In settings/application manager there's isn't the option to move the app to external storage.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI bought a samsung galaxy xcover 2 2 weeks ago, and i realized that theres nothing to do to transfer/download straight to sd card. I called to Samsung support in finland and they said that i have to format the sd card and after that you can transfer some very few applicatoins to sd card but however i have not managed to transfer even one application. I have tried app2sd and searched around the internet in order to find some way to transfer apps to sd card. I found from youtube some kind of way, but there was like downloading some program to computer and then connecting the sd card and phone separately to computer and then giving some commands to computer and copy and cut and clicking thousands folders and some more stuff i didnt really understand the whole thing was really complicated. I am starting to be really frustrated for this problem or whatever it is, its just stupid to even put this kind of faulty "function" to any kind of smart phone. In every other way samsung galaxy xcover 2 is very excellent and easy to use, but i think transfering apps to sd is very important function/tool. How to transfer apps to sd in Samsung galaxy xcover 2.

I was able to store my game apps and other apps onto the SD card so I didnt use up all my space. Since the update, I can't store any games onto the app. The games do have the toggle button that says Move to SD Card, when I do it comes up with a Unable to move app.

Well it does move them successfully, because in Settings ==> Apps I have NOW a lot of space free.Take a look at this screenshot below. All the apps are in data/app and not on sd card, what is happening "behind the scenes".

Mobile security and it has an option to do so. The button "move to SD card" is blacked out for Facebook, twitter and steam. Is there anyway I can get these on my SD card? SuperSu updated after installation. I am trying to move applications to the sd card. I downloaded FolderMount (and a number of other apps that claim to move apps2SD but don't work) and FolderMount only sees what is on the SD Card, not internal storage. View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Samsung Galaxy Reverb has nobody willing to build CM10 for it, so I decided to take on the task. It built without error - processed the kernel and all the CyanogenMod 10 files just fine and generated the .zip. However, after flashing the .zip I end up with a Samsung logo, then a black screen.
The compile went through without error, so I'm a little lost as to what I should check next. From doing a little searching it seems the kernel is at fault, but what to do about that. Am I supposed to flash the kernel separate from the .zip that the CM builder outputs?

Any widget that will display a moving google map with my current location centered? There are a couple apps I've found that are close, they just don't update in realtime. The reason I ask is because I have my 7" galaxy tab mounted in my truck. I use a program called torque to add gauge widgets (coolant temp,boost pressure, rpm,etc) to my home screen and would like to have a moving map display as well. I understand this would be a battery hog,but the tablet is always plugged in.
