Nov 9, 2012I've had problems since the 4th month of this phone and its at a year now. It lost it's wifi back then and I managed to get it back by wiping it a number of times, both factory resets and android type.Other problems have occurred, I've taken care of them along the way. Now, the phone only works if it's plugged in. If it isn't, it goes dead. Shuts itself off immediately without a plug-in charge.
Btw, Samsung never would honor the warranty, citing they" don't replace phones but would "take a look at it" but couldn't "guarantee what they could do for it's software". I've had Samsung phones before and never had problems like this.

Jun 29, 2012My family sends out a plethora of group messages each morning that goes well beyond the "have a good morning". Just this morning I received 15 texts in 30 minutes from five of them. One will start the conversation as a group message and the others jump on the bandwagon. Is there a way I can "block" from receiving group messages? I want to still receive individual texts from them - I just never want to receive a group text. Asking them to not include me in the group has not seemed to work. Just hoping my phone has an option to block.

Oct 30, 2010Is anyone else experiencing problems downloading and running apps from the market due to low memory issues? Why did they only put 512MB of internal memory for app storage on this Epic when the AT&T galaxy version got 8GB of internal memory in addition to the 16GB micro Sd card???
My memory is full now, and without android 2.2 I can't move apps to the SD card. They should have provided all of their galaxy class phones with the 8GB internal memory.

Jan 1, 2013I just got my Galaxy Ace 2 x before Christmas and was trying to move my apps on to my 32 GB SD but it wouldn't let me. previously had lg optimus one which let you swap internal SD (I think) which aloud me to move installed apps on to it. When I looked up how to do this I read that i had to root my phone and since I just got the phone I really didn't want to break it. Is there another way to move apps to my Ext SD?

Feb 12, 2014I'm having an issue on my poor old Samsung S2. Suddenly I am not able to download certain apps in the google play store because they are not available in my country. I live in the U.S. and have always had this phone in the U.S. so I'm not sure why it suddenly started giving me this message. Currently the app I am trying to download is Guess the 90's which I know is available in the U.S. Is there an easy fix for this that does not involve rooting my phone or calling google support? Also I tried swapping memories (internal to external and vice versa) , it worked but installing apps from external sources will not work, or apps in /storage/emulated/0/... Will not be able to installed , but if they are on /storage/sdcard1 they will be able to be installed.. That still a problem ..

I'm wondering what happens when I flash and install a new os. I'm sure that, like a Windows PC, the new ROM won't see those apps on the sd card. No problem reinstalling.
