i can bypass the activation screen and see the android app is pre-installed on my phone. but how do i run it? i cant get to the home screen just into settings.
I have a new phone, that came with android 5.1 (Ice cream sandwich) and it came with a trial of plants vs zombies. I enjoyed the trial and tried to upgrade, and it just gave me a network error. So I went to the google play app store, and bought the full version there. But now I have two copies installed, one that is still the trial, and one that is the full version. How I can remove the trial version from my phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am very new to this rooting process of Android but I figured Cyanogen seemed simple enough, but I managed to screw it up. The phone boots up to TWRP 2.3.3.1 but the phone has no OS installed so I don't know what to do.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've attempted to flash a newer version of cyanogenmod on my phone (10.1.3 to 11). I'm using TWRP 2.6.1.0. I can not boot because I've wiped the phone (dalvik, system, data, internal storage, cache), and I suspect the ROM I have is corrupted but I can't connect it to my computer and transfer the file via USB because I have no ROM installed and can not boot. I also can't take the SD card (since there's non) and put the file that way. My phone is Oppo find 5
My root file flashing was successful, but installation of the ROM cm-11-20140204-NIGHTLY has failed. I assume the file was corrupted, but I have no way to find out what it is. I now realize my mistakes, like wiping the system unnecessarily. Is there any way to get another file on the device?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just rebuilt an application to use some new assets, and now I get this message on my phone when I try to install it: "Application not installed" "UnitTests could not be installed on this phone" Anyone know what's going on? I've checked and I've definitely got "Unknown sources" ticked on the application settings. This is just a self signed application to run my unit tests on an actual phone (the emulator doesn't cut it for real testing). I tried creating a new keystore, and they didn't help. What on earth? The only thing I can think of that I've done recently is accept a google security update. If they've silently done some other updates that prevent self signed applications running, I'm severely upset.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'll start with my history with Android. Got my X on launch day, ran the first leak .zip and reverted back to push the OTA onto my phone without a single problem (when the leak initially came out I saved all the appropriate files needed to revert before they were blacklisted). I have never rooted on any version of Android. Mainly because I just wasn't familiar enough with the know-how and I'm not going to Verizon crying because I bricked my phone claiming insurance replacement. SO - heres the run down, I've been working on PCs since 92, mostly Microsoft based, I'm very familiar with anything up to XP Pro, which I run on most of my machines (until I get a hold of a Windows 7 disc - I don't like Vista at all) I'm also very familiar with DOS commands when OSs used to be DOS based. I want to really get into Android and their operating system and learn a lot more about how it all works, after owning a Storm this really is a large step. I've always been running LP and Fancy Widgets to create the Incredibleist UI (the only thing I liked about the Dinc). I've become pretty familiar with navigating around with Astro, and terminal emulator but as you all know only so much can be achieved when not rooted.

The phone was working great as usual, but I loaded up eBuddy and went into landscape view by pulling out the keyboard, my phone locks up. I had to do a battery pull, and now when I try to turn on the phone, it just shows a black lite-up screen. This exact thing happened not 2 days ago when my battery was very low, but this time my battery was fully charged. Also, the phone won't 'turn on' now.
