I flashed wrong ROM with my device with odin, and my device doesn't work any more.
It looks like a real brick. It just stay in black screen. No vibration, No sound and No animation!! What can I do for my device?

ATM i am using SG2 with ICS 4.0.3.
2 months ago before it upgraded itselve to curent version i instaled latest navigon without problems and it work pretty well. Since ICS is upgraded navigon doesen't work anymore. I tryed to DLL latest version of Navigon ( 4.1.1 ) and it doesent wan't to work. I can install it but when i open it up i get an error that im not connected to an internet connection or im not loged in to google play. my WI-FI is on and it don't want to work.
The weather just suddenly stopped working yesterday. I didn't change anything. I turned off the phone and back on, still with the same problem. I use wifi on it everyday, so I assume it would update but doesn't.
View 3 Replies View RelatedProbably a very simple fix here, but I can't figure it out. I deleted a few roms off of my sd card to make room for the new warm 2.2 release and went to flash it. For some reason, when I'm in the boot screen, I select recovery, but it doesn't boot into the actual recovery mode anymore, it goes to another white screen which I think is the fastboot screen.

Cannot get wireless tether to work anymore. It gets superuser permissions, My laptop detects the network, it connects to it, but I cannot load any pages and nothing is being sent up and down except for 3-4 kb.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, resets, etc. My root seems to be fine.
I am developing on Windows machine.I was working quite well until yesterday, when I saw the the update prompt and updated my ADT plugin. Today when I tried debugging my test project, I experienced either one the following cases:
1) Logcat stops forever on the message "sending wait chunk".
2) Logcat shows the following message, and test project fails:
3) Eclipse stops responding.
The above cases happens even when the test unit contains nothing.Also it just doesn't not work in debug. The test case runs successfully if it is not in debug mode (But there are still some glitches, like Logcat sometimes won't emit debug messages).
A) The data network access doesn't work anymore. B) The touch screen is not responsive freezes a lot.C) The text messaging freezes then sends out 20 of the same message.And I have done numerous battery breaks.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI actually have an app that I test with two devices. One LG GW620, and one Samsung Spica. I would like when User touch the screen, the device vibrate. In fact, On the LG GW620, the device vibrate when I touch it. But on the spica doesn't... I looked for settings on the spica, but Vibrator is check, so I don't understand why it doesn't vibrate.
In my app I have : <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.VIBRATE"></uses-permission> and in the code :
Vibrator vibrator =(Vibrator)getSystemService(Context.VIBRATOR_SERVICE);
vibrator.vibrate(100);
But I think it is not the best thing to do that. I wish device vibrate for every click, but I don't know if I have to do a Vibrator for each OnClick ? Or if I could do only one Vibrator for all the application? And especially why it doesn't work on Spica?
I setup SIP calling through Sipdroid and Pbxes just fine. Uninstalled Sipdroid and was able to make SIP calls over 3G/WiFi using the Android Native Dialer. Suddenly my SIP calling does not work any more. I did not change any of the settings. When making calls over 3G/WiFi the call connects but immediately hangs up. The call log shows the call as outgoing but lasting "0 minutes, 0 seconds." The Sipdroid app works just fine but I don't want it running all the time.
UPDATE: I can make outgoing calls only if "Receive Incoming Calls" is checked. I would assume there is a way to make outgoing calls over SIP without having to accept them since I have GV forwarded to my cell number (yes I know it uses minutes but it saves on battery.)
After successfully setting up and using adb for a couple of days with my viewpad 7e (device-id is 0x0bb0 - this value is in my adb_usb.ini - although i believe it once worked with 0xbb0 - now both doesnt) adb decided not to see my tablet anymore.
Of course usb debugging is enabled. I can use the binaries, only my device does not show up anymore. mac os x knows about the device:

android-sdk downloaded again yesterday, so it should be pretty damn new.
Besides the adb_usb.ini the installation is straight forward what you'll find in almost any howto on setting up adb. so where did i go wrong? or, what other stuff between my macbook and adb could keep adb from seeing the device?
I use vmware fusion on my macbook. this normally asks me wether to pass on a usb device to the VM or connect it to the host. it does _NOT_ (however, settings regarding this are correct as in 'always ask') ask me anymore.
I'm doing a bit of research before going on to root my HTC Salsa. I wanna know that after rooting will I be able to flash ANY new ROM that comes into the market?
Or is there any hardware restriction as such?
My HTC Salsa currently has the following specs - Android 2.3.3, HTC Sence 2.1
So if a new ROM comes out and has got Sense 3.5, ICS Update, Beats Audio etc etc.. will I be able to install it on my device or will there be any hardware problems?
Sideloading of apk's does not work anymore. I did not install any new app or module. Unknown sources is checked of course.
But when I try to install an APK clicking on Install does not respond and no message appears. I rebooted more times, cleared all caches, etc. to no avail.
i have a velocity micro cruze t510 running eken a90 firmware nicely but i cant get cwm recovery to work i have flashed 3 different versions and all three have the same problem. emmc will not mount so im unable to back up. find a custom recovery for the t510
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently I have flashed a custom stock rom of my nextbook 8 se. I'm enjoying it, but I have ran into some issues. When I flashed it I can't download very many things, because it tells me to use an external sd card(which only has 2gb of space). I want to access the internal sd card i already have, but I don't know how.
P.S. I don't have any backup, because I flashed a stock rom due to my tablet being bricked.
I have so far found two bugs in Galaxo 1.6.3:
a) Speaker doesn't work in call (very weak). works well in ringtones etc.
b) Scrolling contacts by letter doesn't work.
Other than that this is a leap forward, especially with the overclock options!
Both bugs, as well as others, fixed in 1.6.3.1 update!
I installed a kernel which is not compatible with my phone. Now it stuck. I cannot turn on my phone. I tried everything on that is written on the forum. I tried volume key tricks everything. Non of them worked.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy HTC Hero which I have had for about 4 and a half months seems to be getting dirty from the back. It looks like seem green ink or something that seems to be painted on. It is a very dirty green, I tried everything to get rid of it. Heck, I have even used bleach but nothing works. Does anyone have any idea how to remove it? Worst case scenario I'll just buy a cover to hide its imperfections. All of sudden the black version doesn't seem that bad anymore :$

I uninstalled it and went back to the native texting app but decided I liked chompSMS's UI and ability to set different ringtones to different contacts so I went back to it... and now my trackball won't light up when I get a text. The notification LED flashes, but no trackball light at all. I kind of liked it cause it was the only way I could tell I got a text when I was on a call (seeing the trackball light up out of the corner of my eye).Any ideas as to what's wrong? Or does chompSMS's latest update not support the trackball lighting up anymore?The trackball still lights up for calls and emails though, so I know it's not the phone's hardware causing the problem.

View 6 Replies View Relatedi was reading some articles about improving battery. one tip was to go to the dialer and do *#*#4636#*#* and wait and then it will take u to a screen where u go to phone info and hit menu and change the network from gsm to cdma. i tried this and when i entered the numbers into the dialer it didnt do anything. the thread was from june so does this not work anymore?

So, with some investigating we found that K-9 Mail Beta is no long a beta version. It's just "K-9 Mail", version 2.000. And it isn't as robust as the beat version. What's up with that?
Better backup your old beta version if you like it. And don't update to the new until they get that mess straightened out.
Had a little problem just came up on my X10 to keep it simple when I activate the vibrating mode it doesn't vibrate anymore. Any idea what it could be a hardware problem?

The HTC developer support only has system images for the adp1 and adp2 phones up to 1.6. If it can't I will be sending the phone back for a full refund.
