I own SE Xperia Ray and i rooted my phone and installed CWM. Then I flashed the wrong Sperience ROM. I flashed the ROM for Xperia Active thinking I can always revert back.. Now my phone is switching ON but SD card is not recognized and the screen looks so weird.. I cant enter CWM recovery mode.

the phone constantly calling the wrong person from my call log, i can live with, angry as it makes me, i live with it. the phone just topped the list with this act. i had the screen locked. phone hadnt been used for almost 30 minutes. i plug it into my charger, and i hear a ringing, i look the screen is locked but lit up as it does when i plug it in, and the phone call handset picture is on, the piece of **** crap had started to call someone. and this was a person i had called almost 11 hours ago and ive since made a half dozen calls to other people. i had to pull down the drop down menu to end the call. yeah real nice getting a phone call at 1245 in the morning. **** me, im calling rogers and loosing it on some ***** call center rep tomorrow. i can see the phone acting out and freezing and lagging, but calling people on its own because i plug it in to charge.

After 2.1 upgrade it imported all my facebook buddies, and because I call everyone by nicknames it has duplicated a lot of entries. I've tried "joining" the duplicates together to get just the one entry per person, but it seems to randomly choose whether they are stored under their facebook name or the nickname I have for them. I've tried entering what I want them to be called in the 'nickname' bit under the contact 'edit' screen, but again it seems to be random as to whether it then uses this name to display them in my contact list.

I did login and all stuff, but i get error saying wrong password or username. I checked on google.com that it was correct and it is. Now i do not have Internet checked on before it went to locking so i dunno if its the reason that i do not have the internet connection on it.

I open th recent call list and click one of the recent calls but instead of dialing that contact my phone dials a different contact which is different altogather. View 2 Replies View RelatedOnce upon a time I used another website to customize my new Ascend. Long story very short, I messed it up. I am pretty sure I deleted some stock stuff, and since my computer that had all of the backups on it has died, I have no way of getting it back.
I've tried flashing back to stock, I've tried flashing to different roms, I've tried doing a factory reset, I've even tried loading the stock zipped rom from the sd card. Of all the methods that I tried, the only one that doesn't hang on the android screen is flashing a new rom - so I'm using CM7 for now. Everything else kills the phone, it never boots past the android screen.
I just went thru the gauntlet again, trying to "fix" my phone, but nothing worked except flashing CM7. My camera hasn't worked since I started messing with this phone when I first got it. Now, all of a sudden, my internet is having issues.
I have tried downloading the camera.apk, but it doesn't seem to do anything - is there something I'm supposed to do other than stick the apk file in the sd card root?. I still can't use the bar code scanner, or a shopping list scanner thingy - everything says the camera had an unexpected error and/or the device failed to give access to the camera.
Going to RoM Manager, trying to download a different RoM (I have paid for the premium) and I get the you must have CWM installed message. Okay, I wiped everything, that makes sense. Click the install and either nothing happens or I get the message can't get an internet signal. The browser will connect, if I click retry, retry, retry 20 times.
I really dont know if I can justify the cost of a new phone, seeing as I dont really need it - I just want it. Need fixing the signal and camera on this one? FYI, the 3g icon on the status bar shows connected.
I have this Huawei Ascend P1 phone and I used the official huawei app to backup all my data. Now, I flashed this custom rom (4.4.2) and I am now unable to use that app to restore my data. Is there another way to do this? I have the apps files (apks) but there are also some .db files in there that have all the app info.
