Instead of having music saved on my lg g2, can I save all my music on gdrive and just play my music and playlist using gmusic just like as if its saved to my phone?
Cause I "think" it said store and play up to 20,000 songs in the cloud.

Does anyone know how to get playlist.com to play songs? I assume it's some sort of plugin I don't have but I dunno. There have been a few sites that Just had a large grey circle with an X in the middle.
View 2 Replies View RelatedNever happened before but i flashed a new rom and of course the playlists that i had before were still there (no data wipe needed). i added some songs to the end of my gym playlist and alls fine. every day i need to re-add all the songs though. if i check around mid day, then some of the songs are disappearing and by the eve - the play list is back as it was when i flashed the rom. the songs themselves are still on my SD card though

I'm running a new galaxy s2 and am running into a major problem with the playlists I'm creating. After I create a new playlist and spend time putting songs in them they work for a while untill, usually overnight when I try and play them again the song stays at 0 seconds and will not play. I havent found any other forums addressing this problem and I'm going crazy trying to fix it especially since in my trouble shooting i cant seem to find one thing that makes it happen. Its not certain songs or certain playlist. The songs work fine untill for some reason they wont play anymore. My phone recongnizes them and the same song will play if I play it through the normal route (Atrists or albums) but when i play it from a playlist it wont play. Also i am running this music from an sd card and this is a new problem and it happens with all the music players i try. I was on winamp and then i moved to player pro because i thought the problem was with winamp but its happening with player pro to.
View 1 Replies View RelatedComing from a Iphone to the X the music player is a little lacking. Often I will go into a certain artist and want to play all the songs by that artist, or thumb through all their songs to find a certain one. On the stock music player on the X this seems hard to do (maybe I'm missing something).
if I pull up the music by artist and select a certain artist then it shows me all their albums (The iphone has the option at this point to select all albums and see all the songs of that artist in alphabetical order). The X doesn't give a option to select all albums at this point. If I go to artists and long press on a certain artist I can select play and it will start playing all that artists songs, then I can hit pause and go into the list from that point to see all the songs but they seem to be in a random order making it hard to find a specific song.
I've tried a couple other players and haven't been able to find one that functions like the Iphone, makes it hard to quickly find one song.
The playlist names can be found by a query on MediaStore.Audio.Playlists.EXTERNAL_CONTENT_URI
and then look at the MediaStore.Audio.PlaylistsColumns.NAME column. There is a data column too, MediaStore.Audio.PlaylistsColumns._DATA, but it is returning null. The list of songs (MediaStore.Audio.Media.EXTERNAL_CONTENT_URI/id) do not seem to show any playlist affiliation.
Has anyone else made a playlist within the music player? Whenever I try to remove a song using "Remove from Playlist", it will remove it from the list until I reboot the phone. Which will then reappear in the list.

I'd rather do it via Windows Explorer with a right-click function, but I don't believe there is one. Is there any way I can add songs on my G1 to a playlist using Windows Explorer?

I have copied music files to my phone SD card, all the songs from the playlist and when look at artist, or other views it see that these are on device, but when go to the playlist it does not, also if I remove a song from the playlist from the web it still shows on device.
I don't want to download songs to device from the play cloud, like to move them over from PC. also do not want to stream from the cloud all the time, I listen to music too much to use that much data.
I want to just use the native play music app from google, but the on device functions are not up to par and end up using apps like power amp etc.
I'm having an issue on my i9300.
I keep songs from Google Play on my device so I can listen offline.
But whenever it "keeps requested music" it seems like its redownloading the entire playlist over again, not just songs I just added to the playlist. It's like it deleted the playlist I had, and is redownloading it again.
I have a Galaxy S3. I download music from iTunes and sync it on my S3 using WMP. The thing is, once the songs are on my phone, they will not play through my earphones but through the speakers instead. It does that only with the songs purchased on iTunes. In my car, iTunes songs play through the car speakers but at a very low volume, even if both the volume in the car and on the phone are at max. Now what to do?

How Do I get these songs from dropbox to my play music account? I can't seem to access music manager on the tablet.
Before the update, I was able to go into a genre in Play Music and shuffle the songs within the genre. Since the update, I don't see an option like this.

When i go to my library on my nexus 4 i can press the menu button on an album and keep on device but if i go over to the right to songs to see all the individual songs and press the menu button i dont have the option to keep individual songs on the device.

I had around 200 songs uploaded from my computer to Play. Now, I got the trial of All Access, and ive been adding a bit of music with the search and add feature.. So then i thought.. Maybe this is a free way to get audio files. I went to the "Music Manager" application on my computer, and i hit "download my library" and its now downloading all 291 songs, allowing transfer to any device (Like an iPod) 91 of which, keep in mind, I had added via the search feature from the Play Music app on my phone. So, is this a glitch overlooked by Google? Or is it intended to be this way?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been using iSyncr for a few months now and overall it's pretty good. I was using it with Rocket Player, but didn't care for that player much, so I am just using the google music app for now.
The problem: All playlists sync, except for the most recent. So if I have playlists 1-5, with 5 being what I just created in iTunes and sync'd, play music will only show 1-4. Whenever I move on and create #6, then #5 will show up but 6 will be missing.. and so on.
I need to either figure out why, or find an alternative music player that doesn't have this problem and works with the iSyncr process/playlists. Rocket Player did not, but had some other things that I didn't like.
My player for x10 mini pro is playing continues until i switch it off. Is there any way that can play the playlist once and it will turn off automatic? Its so, wasted my battery cause after i fall sleep its still playing.
View 1 Replies View Relatedim using the free version from the market. when i first opened it it gave me the option to do by songs or by album. for some reason i thought by album would be easier. when i went to play the songs i noticed that it was linking multiple songs with the same album cover..most were not even from the same artist. i uninstalled it, then reinstalled and still didnt get the option to do it by song.
how do i update the album for the ones that got the wrong cover? there are some songs that still dont have one at all as its not showing up in the list in the app of album cover..i have been using ayal music download to download the songs. i currently have music mod, and mixzing downloaded and the problem is happening with all of the music players. im hoping there is a way to fix this..i dont necessarily need the album cover, but it would be nice to have.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Note II (AT&T), and i have not rooted it or put any custom ROMs or whatever onto it. i have been using the music player app that came with the device. (not the google play one that looks like headphones, the app that i use is a blue and white circle with a blue play symbol in the middle and a green musical note on the right side. just for reference) i just added a playlist, expecting the songs to be in the order that they were when i made the playlist in Kies. however, they were actually in alphabetical order and had numbers next to them (01, for example). i would like to be able to change the order somehow, or sync it so that the songs appear in the order they are in on kies.
