I recently got CM9 on my Xperia Arc lt15. Overall I'm happy with it except Apollo. I find it difficult to make a playlist. You have to press every freaking song to add it to a playlist. Why not have an option to select some or all songs? Or am I doing it wrong?

I recently purchased "KVD APOLLO ONE K6589 Quad-Core Android 4.2.1 WCDMA Smartphone w/ 5.5"
The phone itself was next to nothing ($180) so even if its Unrootable.
I would however prefer it rooted, I have read that you can basically use the MTK6577 rooting tool on the device?Would this risk bricking the device.
I'v attempted to contact the manufacturer however to no avail.

Also can't work out how to sort out a Playlist in Mediascape. My playlist option seems to have 99% of all my music in there but unable to add, delete or start a new one.
I didn't know that the phone doesn't allow you to create playlist within the phone itself. However I do know that you can create playlist with media go.
But my question is that. How can you bring the playlist from media go into the Xperia X10?
I create a new playlist using media go, but it only stays on library, and when I transfer whole playlist music into Xperia. only musics are transfer.. not the playlist.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHow do i delete the playlists that i create in my xperia x10 mini. I can't seem to delete them. I created a few playlists then used the media go app to delete them. But when i disconnected the phone from my computer the playlists were still present. I believe that playlists aren't stored on the sdcard. Can someone help me to delete these playlists. And can the SE team give a fix in the mediaGo software so that it is able to display the playlists that aren't there on sdcard and allow me to modify or delete them.

I have copied music files to my phone SD card, all the songs from the playlist and when look at artist, or other views it see that these are on device, but when go to the playlist it does not, also if I remove a song from the playlist from the web it still shows on device.
I don't want to download songs to device from the play cloud, like to move them over from PC. also do not want to stream from the cloud all the time, I listen to music too much to use that much data.
I want to just use the native play music app from google, but the on device functions are not up to par and end up using apps like power amp etc.
I upgraded to Kies3 and now it is not giving me the options to download my Itunes Playlist.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Note II (AT&T), and i have not rooted it or put any custom ROMs or whatever onto it. i have been using the music player app that came with the device. (not the google play one that looks like headphones, the app that i use is a blue and white circle with a blue play symbol in the middle and a green musical note on the right side. just for reference) i just added a playlist, expecting the songs to be in the order that they were when i made the playlist in Kies. however, they were actually in alphabetical order and had numbers next to them (01, for example). i would like to be able to change the order somehow, or sync it so that the songs appear in the order they are in on kies.
View 1 Replies View RelatedNever happened before but i flashed a new rom and of course the playlists that i had before were still there (no data wipe needed). i added some songs to the end of my gym playlist and alls fine. every day i need to re-add all the songs though. if i check around mid day, then some of the songs are disappearing and by the eve - the play list is back as it was when i flashed the rom. the songs themselves are still on my SD card though

I'm running a new galaxy s2 and am running into a major problem with the playlists I'm creating. After I create a new playlist and spend time putting songs in them they work for a while untill, usually overnight when I try and play them again the song stays at 0 seconds and will not play. I havent found any other forums addressing this problem and I'm going crazy trying to fix it especially since in my trouble shooting i cant seem to find one thing that makes it happen. Its not certain songs or certain playlist. The songs work fine untill for some reason they wont play anymore. My phone recongnizes them and the same song will play if I play it through the normal route (Atrists or albums) but when i play it from a playlist it wont play. Also i am running this music from an sd card and this is a new problem and it happens with all the music players i try. I was on winamp and then i moved to player pro because i thought the problem was with winamp but its happening with player pro to.

Cause I "think" it said store and play up to 20,000 songs in the cloud.
My issue is that after flashing a new rom (after wiping data/factory reset) Spotify will automatically delete my offline playlist. Using Titanium or any other backup solution WILL not work with spotify. After restoring it will restore default settings of the app and log you out.
I have tried copying the Spotify folder from my phone to my computer, than pasting after flashing the rom, but this does not work. Any way to NOT have to re-download spotify playlist after flashing roms?
I've been uploading music to my phone by copying and pasting entire folders via mass storage, but I am curious to know if there is a preferred way to do this. Especially if I want to create playlists *on my computer*, then have those playlists show up in my phone with the songs in the same order as they were organized on my computer.

I keep songs from Google Play on my device so I can listen offline.
But whenever it "keeps requested music" it seems like its redownloading the entire playlist over again, not just songs I just added to the playlist. It's like it deleted the playlist I had, and is redownloading it again.
Google Music. My only caveat is making a playlist available offline temporarily, and then deleting it once I'm done.
It makes sense for the subway, etc.
I'll load up a new album, and I normally listen to the album as a whole and then get rid of it to free up space (and to decide which songs make it to my main playlist).
I'm using a HTC One X, so 16gb is a bit limiting and I can't have it full of music.
Is there any free music player app right now that can do that? I have tried all sort of music players such as google music, winamp, etc but all players requires me to manually press and hold each mp3 file to add to a playlist. Is there any app that allows us to choose all the files we want and subsequently add to playlist??

I have one of those cheap Chinese ICS tablets (btw working pretty good) and I planned to use it in my car to let my 17 month old daughter watch some videos I got from YouTube while driving home from our vacation. - Act Player.. does the job but only on Gingerbread (I have a GB Galaxy S phone). On ICS the playlist feature does not work
- Vplayer - does not support shuffle and after 4th or 5th video starts to stutter
- Mobo player - does the job but does not support shuffle and the little monster is getting tired of the first 10 vids she has to watch all over again every day
Does anyone know if there is a good car kit that I can plug my Hero into my car and listen to the playlist or Pandora through my car stereo?...and also charge it at the same time?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThis can't be as difficult as it seems. Just to make sure the SD card is clean I formatted it, then mounted the SD card and using doubleTwist did the following:
- Brought my iTunes playlists into doubleTwist
- Selected the one I wanted on the Droid (named "Mobile Phone")
- Drug it to the connected Droid and the songs start transferring just fine (there's only about 300 in this playlist).
- Transfer gets about 70% completed and just hangs up. DoubleTwist at this point is hung up so can't unmount the SD card. Unplug the USB cable
- Now when I go to the SD card it says "SD card is busy" but of course nothing is happening.
- At this point I have to do a battery pull to gain access to the SD card in order to format it again.
I was curious...does anyone know if there is a app out there that allows you to add a playlist of ringtones? Everytime you recieve a call it would be a random ring tone from the list. If you have specifically set a ring tone for a specific contact, then that one will play when they call you, but if no ring tone is set...then it would pick a random one from your playlist.

I've figured out how to create playlists and delete duplicates. I can delete songs from a playlist, but if I just want to move them up, so far no luck. [I'm trying the free version of MixZing player since the std. player says there's not room in my music database to show me the artists in my collection, but that's a different problem. I suppose there's a chance that upgrading MixZing might solve this problem, but I doubt it.
