When i started my dapeng a75 it started with the update screen(automatically)
I leaved the phone 10 minutes and shutted down when i camed back.
I started it again and the android loading screen showed 60 times.(normally 5 times till load)
I plugged in the pc and showed this""Installing driver: MT65** phone"""
I dont have any root or clockwork or something like that.

I think this issue is correlated directly to the SD card that comes with our phone... but it seems to be quite slow. I say this, because I notice quite often that my music has short to medium pauses between tracks (off the SD), and if I do anything else while it's playing back, like say.... downloading something through the browser (I use Dolphin, everything is set to save onto SD as well as the cache) my music will skip and jump mid-playback. It's been like this since I got it, and it's been getting worse the more stuff I put onto it. I know that it's normal for any storage drive's write/read speeds to drop proportionately as the free space is taken up by data, but it's starting to become an issue with what I would consider 'normal' usage. The SD card we got with the phone is only a Class 2, but I've yet to have these kinds of problems with any other class 2 cards. Should I get a Class 4 or 6 and see if it fixes the problem? (money isn't really an issue, I just don't want to be paying $115 for an SD card. Hell, I could get a 500gb HDD for my computer at that price!)

This seems to be an Android standard (both the Camera app and the Camcorder app do it when first selected), but I don't see any documentation on it. I even tried looking through the source of these apps on git, but couldn't seem to find it.
I'm writing an app part of whose functionality is to record audio through the microphone. The recording seems to stop as soon as the screen times out and the phone enters what I think is sleep mode. I've noticed that some apps(Tokasiki's Voice Recorder, for one) don't seem to have this problem on this phone(Motorola Atrix) and continue to record audio long after the screen has faded to black. I've tried using a partial wake lock but it doesn't seem to maintain the recording. Should I use AudioRecord instead of MediaRecorder? Voice Recorder seems to get by without using AudioRecord.

View 3 Replies View Relatedi have a samsung galaxy S1 with cyanogenmod, and i don't know what happened but when i turn on the phone it just stay on the loading screen, something like this : just a black screen with that little loading icon in it (without animation) i tried running both recovery and downloading mode (V+/v-,menu,Power) but nothing works too, and there is another strange behavior, sometimes, it show me the "Downloading.... do not turn off target !!! " message, when it is in that screen, the pc does recognies the samsung driver but i have no access to it, and Odin doesn't find the device

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the screen timeout set to 1 min which works fine until I use the phone. When using the phone the screen times out (and locks) in about 5 seconds. This is a real pain when using voicemail etc and you need to interact with the keypad.

Best I can do is set the timeout for 30 minutes but I do not like that solution, often it takes me longer then that to get where im going and i dont want to have to switch the phone back on in the middle of driving. I have used HTC phones for years and the screen timeout always did not apply when using GPS. Also, is there any way to get the map to rotate to the direction of travel like tomtom and garmin do?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhenever Titanium Backup runs one of the scheduled backups, the screen no longer times out. It will dim, but never go off. This isn't just while the operation is running, either. For instance, I had a scheduled operation this morning at 4 a.m. At 7 a.m., the operation was completed, but the screen was still on (albeit dimmed). The only way the screen time out starts working again is if I kill Titanium via System Panel. Is this normal?

text 'Short text' should be located on with align right, but about 10% from the top of the screen
text 'x.x.x.x' should be aligned to the center of the screen (right/bottom align of the 1st quater)
text 'Some long text ..' should be aligned to the top/left of the 3-rd quater of the screen, but it should cross the center_horizontal of the screen

I dunked my Moto Droid as I fell into a pool this weekend. I probably tried to boot it too soon after that happened, but now a few days later it is operational. Theres a few flecks in the screen display but otherwise I cannot notice any serious deficiencies in the interface. The one major problem I am having however is with the battery. Obviously, it got wet as well, and when the phone did become operational again, it indicated about 50% charge and went down from there as I used it. After it powered down though, when I plugged it in to charge the battery indicator showed a question mark and I can no longer charge it. The Droid will operate when plugged into a wall outlet only (not my computer). Is it possible that replacing the battery is the only necessary fix?

On every reboot, my widgets fail to load, I get the problem loading widgets screen, and I have to uninstall and reinstall the application to fix the problem. Any ideas on what could cause this and how to fix it. Launcherpro and those apps were all installed on the phone. I had a similiar problem with the default launcher, and I must say its the only drawback I've seen with android so far.

I am running BB 0.4 and have been for some time.I use the multimedia dock that launches the clock.apk. The proplem I have is when I hit the dim button for when I go to sleep after a while the screen times out. It lasts for quite some time so it makes me think that once the phone hits 100% it defaults to my 1 minute screen time out because the phone stays on for at least an hour (I know this because ill plug it in and watch some tv then go to bed)Back when I was on nexbeast or before froyo I used to hit the dim then eventually it would default to a clock that would kind of bounce around the screen.I dont want to go back to nexbeast but surprisingly enough this is making me angry. I want to be able to use the clock for my room and the alarm clock but I also want to be able to dim the screen so I can sleep.

When I had 2.1 it stayed fully lit the whole time it was on the dock.Did this happen to anyone else?This is really annoying because I use it next to my office computer to easily check my schedule, time, tasks etc.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an application that uses OpenGL on a GLSurfaceView. The problem is that the initial load takes quite a while processing textures and getting things ready.
What i want to do is have a simple PNG displayed (with a slight animation) while the GLSurfaceView is getting ready. As soon as it's ready to render, i would like to tear down the splash screen.
What is the right way to do this? I've tried ViewFlipper, ViewSwitcher and a bunch of other things to switch between my R.layout.main view and my GLSurfaceView but i can't seem to get it right.
I want to display a fancy 'loading' image at my app's startup time.
The problem: my startup code is mostly GUI related, hence needs to run on UI thread.
Is there a way to do both - that is run UI-related code on UI thread while an image is displayed to the user?
