General :: Galaxy Grand Duos Won't Boot?
Dec 18, 2013I have a Galaxy grand Duos, it had Android 4.1.2 (stock) and I wanted to upgrade it to Android KitKat (4.4) so I rooted it and I upgraded first to 4.2.2 using RR (Resurrection ROM) and it worked flawlessly then I used CM 11.0, I flashed CM 11.0 (the ROM) and gapps, but now it just won't boot, it's stuck at the Galaxy Grand Duos logo and it just won't go to the main screen or anything, did I brick it or what?

Mar 18, 2014my galaxy grand was rooted and had the Resurrection Remix custom ROM, but now I want to reset my binary counter, unroot and flash the stock ROM. I started by downloading the .tar.md5 file (stock ROM), then I loaded it in Odin v3.09 as the AP (which is the PDA option but changed its name I think) and flashed, but it says fail at the beginning and now I only see "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again". I already installed Kies and tried this, but after a really long time when the progress bar reached 70%, it said Dll load fail and this was the second time I do it through Kies, but no avail and yes, I'm pretty sure that I have the ADB drivers installed. I flashed CWM touch recovery and it works good, so now I can enter Download mode and CWM mode (or whatever it's called) only. I want to flash back to the Stock ROM which I already have.

Dec 19, 2013I'm now facing a problem with my Galaxy Grand Duos. It was initially on the 4.1.2 stock ROM. I tried many ROMs for 4.2.2 until I found the ROM that best suits my need which is the RR (Resurrection ROM) and it's now working normally, but the problem is that now, I need to install the 4.2.2 (leaked firmware), I found the files and followed all the tuts I found, but in videos and such they get the message "success" and I get the message "fail", I don't know what's the reason behind this, I tried changing USB ports, changing the cable, I tried nearly everything, but no avail. So basically, I now need 4.2.2 (leaked) or any KitKat (4.4) ROM, I want Carbon or SlimKat, but both require coming from a KitKat ROM (which is not my case) or 4.2.2 TW ROM, I don't think RR (Resurrection Remix) is a TW ROM, so what should I do? I need to know one of them, the KitKat or the 4.2.2 (leaked).

Apr 17, 2013I am using the Galaxy grand I9082 Duos. I have a simple problem in WIFI signal strength, on this device signal strength showing very weak for a distance of 3 to 4 meets away from the wifi router in the next room. But Laptop shows good strength at same point.
If I take my mobile close to router shows very good strength.

Nov 15, 2013i have a samsung galaxy S1 with cyanogenmod, and i don't know what happened but when i turn on the phone it just stay on the loading screen, something like this : just a black screen with that little loading icon in it (without animation) i tried running both recovery and downloading mode (V+/v-,menu,Power) but nothing works too, and there is another strange behavior, sometimes, it show me the "Downloading.... do not turn off target !!! " message, when it is in that screen, the pc does recognies the samsung driver but i have no access to it, and Odin doesn't find the device

I can connect a USB Flash drive to my phone, and use it as an external storage media? I believe this function is available on Samsung Note & S3 as an inbuilt function (i.e. without having to install any external application). May 16, 2014The app is stuck on loading screen, despite restarts, clearing cache, etc. It won't load on my Nexus 5 (wifi or cellular data) or my NVIDIA Shield. Other apps that require internet seem to be working fine on both devices. This has been ongoing for at least a couple hours now.

Sep 1, 2010I've entered all of the correct info to connect to my corporate exchange server, but immediately after setting up the account (and on all subsequent attempts to get into that email account), the "Loading..." screen appears with a spinning wheel and never goes away.

Aug 21, 2010It seems after only a fortnight or so from getting my new Desire (unlocked and unrooted) I've already run into a problem I can't seem to fix. I was running a game (I believe it was Asphalt HD) while on the charger when my screen went completely black and I found myself at the boot screen. It finished booting but then got stuck on a frozen "loading" screen. I restarted it and it worked fine, I assumed it was the app and tried another one. About ten minutes in I got another black screen and the phone started booting again. Only this time it would do the animated logo, then crash and try to reboot again, over and over until I pulled the battery. Only now it wont boot at all, it will simply sit on the initial HTC boot screen indefinitely. It won't turn off the screen or anything, just sit there in a frozen state.
So far I've tried removing the SD and even SIM cards, leaving it off to charge the battery, doing a factory reset from the boot screen, etc. But every single time, whether I turn it on normally or use the bootloader, all I get is the single "switched on" vibration and the HTC screen, and it just freezes there. I already spent quite a while waiting for this phone to arrive, I REALLY don't want to send it back to the store because it was bought through an importer and I'm worried it will take a very long time for any repairs/replacements. I will if I'm forced to but I would much rather find more methods I could try.

General :: Galaxy Note 10.1 - Screen Stuck At 0% Brightness
Mar 28, 2014I haven't had any screen issues in the past, but today my tablet randomly decided to go totally black on me. I looked online and some posts mentioned to check if the screen was actually off, or just stuck at 0% brightness. So I got a flashlight and it turned out that I could see the screen in the light of the flashlight, very faintly. I tried to manually change the brightness setting, but that didn't do anything. I tried to go into 'power saver settings', but the 'screen brightness' power saver setting is stuck on and won't uncheck. Restarting doesn't fix it. Plugging it in to the computer or an outlet doesn't fix it.
I haven't downloaded any applications that override the screen brightness.
I'm using the Galaxy Note 10.1 (not the 2014 version).

Having been really frustrated with the low volume on the device, I decided to try the method mentioned on this link - Download Fix for Google Galaxy Nexus I9250 Volume Issue - Android Advices (VolumeFix by MoDaCo)
After I applied the fix and rebooted, my phone got stuck at the Google screen. My phone was unlocked prior to applying this fix so I went ahead and installed the CWM recovery - despite that, I cannot go past the Google screen, I haven't been able to install the CWM-SuperSU on my phone yet because I cannot transfer it to my phone without having it connected as a USB storage device. I tried adb push CWM-SuperSU-v0.87.zip /sdcard/ but it says "device not found"
I have even downloaded the stock 4.2.1 ROM to flash my phone with it, but at this stage I cannot do anything. I have logged into recovery and have wiped cache/ partitions/ dalvik etc but still it doesn't work.
