General :: Disable Immersive Mode In KitKat?
Feb 25, 2014I've searched how to disable immersive mode in KitKat, and found nothing but topics on how to enable immersive mode.
In some games, immersive mode is annoying, since you'll swipe an area of the game interface near the immersed status bar, and the status bar will appear while gaming.
Is there an app, mod, or setting that can disable immersive mode?

General :: Smali Changes Not Compiling - Transparent Status Bar
Aug 25, 2012I'm trying to get my status bar transparent following this guide [URL] .....
I'm using wanams apk manager, I make the changes to the statusbar.smali file and the xml files, I compile and it doesn't work on my phone, so I decompiled the modified apk, and the changes to the xml files went through but the smali files go back to the originals.
when compiling I use yes on Is this a system apk, yes to copy additional files, go to keep, delete resources.arsc and finish.
It happens with any smali file when I compile, I use notepad++ to edit the files.
So what I ended up doing since my xml files were saving but my smali files weren't, I didn't realize that when compiling it asks to copy over files and the classes.dex file was overwriting all my changes to the smali files, so I compiled and when it asks to delete files from the keep folder I took the classes.dex from that folder, decompiled it seperatly made the changes to the smali files there. I still deleted my resources.arsc, then I finished making the apk opened the apk and replaced the classes.dex there with my modified one. pushed to my phone and everything works perfectly.

Mar 18, 2012I've got a Samsung Galaxy Ace which I'm running CM7.2.0 RC0 KANG Deodexed on.
I've tried numerous patches for a transparent status bar, but just can't seem to get anything working. I'm far too much of a noob to mod the SystemUI.apk for myself!
I'm just wondering if there are any ROMs available that have one built in?

Nov 27, 2009Motorola Droid user coming from iPhone here. One of the features I miss is having the battery percentage indicated in the status bar next to the little icon (in fact, I'd rather just have the percentage rather than the icon). Is there an app to show that in the status bar? It seems the precision of the battery meter is by 10% increments until it reaches 20%, but even that would be better than just the icon.

Aug 11, 2010Ever since the upgrade to froyo I have been having nothin but problems out of my touchscreen. My status bar in portrait mode doesn't drag properly, anything in the top area never responds with touch, none of my keyboards function properly they work at times but some letters can't be pressed, the lockscreen takes 4 or 5 tries to get it to unlock, things press and move without me touching anything. There are more things but this is so hard to type on my phone.
