Basically it blends your status bar with your background and looks fantastic in my opinion: Was hoping someone had a metamorph for this or even a tutorial that I could attempt to follow.

I'm currently running the adw launcher and I love it. I love the numerous customization options that it has. I was just wondering if there is a way in the settings to adjust the transparency of the status bar like it has for the app drawer. I currently have the 8.2 version of adw that I downloaded from the devs website and I can't figure out the settings to adjust the transparency of the status bar.

I've one doubt in uot, If I'm applying a mod like status bar mod, do I need to configure every thing or only what I want to change?
For example I just want to make my status bar transparent, so do I need to configure other things like notifications, topbar etc. too along with status bar?

I'm trying to get my status bar transparent following this guide [URL] .....
I'm using wanams apk manager, I make the changes to the statusbar.smali file and the xml files, I compile and it doesn't work on my phone, so I decompiled the modified apk, and the changes to the xml files went through but the smali files go back to the originals.
when compiling I use yes on Is this a system apk, yes to copy additional files, go to keep, delete resources.arsc and finish.
It happens with any smali file when I compile, I use notepad++ to edit the files.
So what I ended up doing since my xml files were saving but my smali files weren't, I didn't realize that when compiling it asks to copy over files and the classes.dex file was overwriting all my changes to the smali files, so I compiled and when it asks to delete files from the keep folder I took the classes.dex from that folder, decompiled it seperatly made the changes to the smali files there. I still deleted my resources.arsc, then I finished making the apk opened the apk and replaced the classes.dex there with my modified one. pushed to my phone and everything works perfectly.
I've got a Samsung Galaxy Ace which I'm running CM7.2.0 RC0 KANG Deodexed on.
I've tried numerous patches for a transparent status bar, but just can't seem to get anything working. I'm far too much of a noob to mod the SystemUI.apk for myself!
I'm just wondering if there are any ROMs available that have one built in?
My phone is rooted and I'm currently using Benz custom rom, if I remember correctly!
How I can make my status bar transparent and maybe change the colour of the icons to stand out better against backgrounds.
Is there a workaround for the transparent nav and status bars to always show in immersive mode instead of swiping?

I'm not gonna go into detail on how to install them and all that, but basically you need to download MetaMorph from the market and then put any of the .zip's from the themes into the folder "Android Themes" on your sd card (MM will create it). If you have trouble getting MM to open then you may need to do some tricks, I will elaborate on them tomorrow when I have some time unless someone else here beats me to it. DarkDroid Special Edition 10K/24K Gold. If you find any other themes that are CONFIRMED to work on the Droid then please post them in here. If you have any other tips, tricks, or modifications then feel free to put them in here also.

Last time I tried it and restarted I got stuck in a bootloop =P. I made a COMPLETE backup so going to give it a try shortly.
As I understand, I download metamorph from the market, move my themes into my sdcard metamorph folder, then basically run metamorph. I think BB.9 has busybox already taken care of.
I don't need to clear/wipe anything or whatnot for this to work correct, right?
Does metamorph work on cyanogen?

I would like to change the colors of the Wif bars on the status bar at top of screen I extracted the .png files (blue bars), opened them in Paint, and manually changed the color to yellow. Zipped them back up in Metamorph format and pushed them to my Metamorph format and pushed them to my sdcard Applied theme using Metamorph, and it worked, except that the background is now white. I created a theme using the original 5 files. I created a theme using the original 5 png's with blue bars, applied the theme, and it worked and it doesn't have the white background. I think I understand what's happening, but not sure how to format the pictures correctly so just the bars show without the background. Any help appreciated, thanks

Before you start saying how i should learn to search, I already have ( Changing the statusbar color ) and the one post that had the file and instructions i wanted is now missing the file which sucks. View 3 Replies View RelatedFor anyone who didn't see this already over at alldroid, there is a new ROM that I am using that is pretty sweet, its a 2.0.1 rom with 2.1 apps similar to that of the bugless beauty but it doesn't move the /system apps to /data and the notification bar is a dark transparent with white clock? home screen rotation works too. It is a very nice rom and I think very quick, as quick as the version .5 of the bugless one I was using. He is also coming out with a version with wifi tethering but said u can install it separately and it works. I haven't tested that out yet. All in all its a great rom and I am definitely sticking with this one because the theme applied is super slick!

I had uninstalled the Weather Widgets app with the HTC style flip clock because I had falsely believed it was causing some FC crashed on my Droid. When I re-installed it, it appears that the flip clock now defaults to a transparent backing with white lettering. Is there any way to get it back to plain white with black lettering? I haven't installed any extras...just the default. Attached is a screen cap of what the flip clock looks like now. I want to get it back to the traditional HTC style flip clock look. Any ideas?
