I was flashing a mod for the first time usin CWM in my Xperia Neo L
I Had do these steps:
1.factory reset
2.Wipe Cache Partition
3.Advanced>Wipe Dalvik Cache
4.Mounts and storage > Format /system
5.reboot
I forgot to do step 1 an did all the rest and then rebooted. I had unchecked usb debugging mode. Now my xperia is stuck on the Sony logo Screen.. CWM not working..

I have a big problem,it happens once a day(it happend before MR1,with MR1,and with MR2). Cant unlock the screen,when I need to drag padlock left or right it just cant,padlock stays on the left or right side, I can get it back to the middle but unlock - NO (sometimes it promts for some ''unlock code'' but it is not usual lock code as I never set a lock code) and in mean while if you receive a call from some one he complained later on that why didn't you receive the phone, my answer is always that phone never vibrate or ring but when i check the miss call log the call was really there.
The only temporary solution is soft reset. Somebody have something to say?
So I did some modding (unfortunately) to the framework-res.apk file and it worked the first time and a few other times but then I changed something and now when I turn on the phone it freezes at the "Sony Ericsson" screen before the logo. What do I do?
I tried pushing the backup framework file but it says "failed to copy framework-res.apk to /sdcard/framework-res.apk: Permission denied
However, when I use adb devices, it does show my device as being attached.
So what can I do now?
I was also able to pull files...
Also tried manually putting the framework-res.apk in the sdcard and then using adb to copy it to the framework folder. Doesnt work. Saids that the directory cannot be open for read. I guess the device cant read the SD card until it boots up.
I recently tried to flash packman rom onto my Sony Xperia Z I went through the steps of rooting and installing CWM that all went well until i noticed that I could not access recovery mode so I decided to download an app to do it for me and it worked fine so when I got round to installing the rom it came up with an error message so i thought o well it must have not flashed it so i decided to restart my phone but now it wont get past the sony logo and i cant access recovery or flashmode
View 5 Replies View Relatedlast night i rooted my phone and it was perfect but today i saw an video on youtube showing how to make status bar transperent like android 4.4 in that video he said it is a app runs on rooted device .the app name was framework some thing like that i opened that app and clicked on frame work it ask me to grant root access i gave it and clicked on install/update and first time it restarted after restarting it once again i opened that app and did the same process .then thhe output was successfully created new partition and restarted and got stuck on boot loop and i cannot do any thing when i connect it to pc for pc companion the pc is not recognising the device.

Yesterday i was trying to install custom ROM, for that i booted my mobile in recovery mode using install.bat. In recovery mode took back up and wiped data and cache then installed the zip file(ST21i JBMP5.zip) from SD card and rebooted. Now the mobile got stuck with the screen showing JB MINIPROJECT and a circle was revolving in anticlockwise around the number 10. I pulled the battery and tried to boot in recovery mode but no use. whatever i do the mobile stuck with the same screen.

I was not able to open the SMS by tapping on the envelope icon on the notification, however I am able to clear it from the notification. BUT each time I receive a SMS this notification pops up again, so each time i have to clear this msg. What can i do to get rid of it?
View 5 Replies View Relatedi have a brand-new x10 mini that appears to be stuck in a loop. it boots up fine until i get the "data traffic enabled" message in the notification bar and then the phone freezes. sometimes the time continues to update normally but the phone is completely unresponsive, sometimes the phone restarts itself. if i press the power button and the centre button, the phone reboots but gets stuck in the same cycle. i have installed the companion software and the phone is detected but cannot connect i have also tried another 02 sim (the phone is locked to o2) without success.

I already have a general data counter - I use NetCounter - but I want something that shows me which processes or apps are using 3g in real time.
The reason is that something on my phone is regularly up and downloading through 3g. It's not using much data, but it is doing it often and running down my battery. I've checked all the usual suspects to see whether updates are turned on, but it's none of them.
I suspect that I've installed something new that's doing it, but I can't find what it is. I could uninstall everything and build my apps back up one by one, but a 3g process monitor should tell me exactly what's going on.
My phone looks like a tiny brick now. I can't reset it, I can't upgrade/fix/repair because it's stuck at the SE logo. It happened after internet browsing I've been prompted to forcefully close the browser, then later on it wants me to close the SE home app, then finally it's reset and I can only see until the SE logo.
I tried removing the battery for more than 10 secs, pluggin the usb cable while pressing back - still can't connect to pc. I tried holding down power+home, nothing.
Is there a hard reset button somewhere I can use? I'd rather reset everything with all my data than send it over to SE support since that means it'll take weeks with no phone.
I finally updated my xperia x10 mini pro yesterday, but my applications went, so i want to download them all over again but its just stuck on starting download. anyone know why? apparently, it has something to do with gmail...also, its nothing major, but in my phonebook, numbers have come up twice. when adding a contact, the option phone contacts and syncML comes up, whats syncml?
View 3 Replies View RelatedNow I know this has been brought up before and I've followed the advice: tried turning on Google Talk, rebooting etc. In fact I can rarely get GT to sign in either but even when I do, it makes no difference to the apps I'm trying to download. When I first got the phone, I managed to download a couple of apps without problems but now I can't. Everything gets stuck on 'starting download' whatever I do. I'm trying it on a wireless network as it's rare I can get 3GS up.

I have used it for a few months until today, I can't receive phone calls but can still make phone calls. When somebody calls me, the phone will just vibrate for less than a second. I can see who is calling me in the call logs. There isn't a screen for me to answer the call: with a call icon which can be pulled left or right. The caller would just hear my neo L's voicemail greeting or like forwarding to another phone ( i know that because the beeping sound is different.) I have checked the forwarding setting already.

Well having just got a X10. It has a pre-installed screen protector. Somehow I managed to scratch the screen protector and now I want to remove it however I'm having much difficulty removing it. Now I'm thinking if I should get a replacement screen protector as the Rogers version doesn't come with a spare one or just go without it. Anyone without the screen protector wanna add input about the durability of the mineral glass screen? I know that the screen on the iPod Touch 2G is very durable since I own one without having a protector on but I want to know if the X10s screen is just as durable.

It's about the ''black screen'' freezing issue encountered by some users. I have had this several times since owning the phone for a few weeks, so it is a recurring issue. Problem: The phone hangs or appears to be shut down or become unresponsive suddenly. Pressing the hardware buttons doesn't help as the phone doesn't react at all. Solution: Take out cover and battery and restart.Observations: From my own observations, it's not actually a shutdown but a major freezing/hanging. Sometimes when it happens, I can still see vague shades of the display at an angle. After leaving the phone for a while in the pocket, the phone comes back to normal again. Not sure if this is true for all users with this problem. Anyway, gathering more feedback to see how prevalent the problem is, to evaluate whether I should take it to the SE service centre, or whether doing so will help at all.

now my phone is stuck at bootloop. it's stuck at the image after the xperia logo. I tried to go to recovery mode but I can't. Maybe because my phone is bootlocked.
i recently flashed custom roms in my arc s and returned to stock because of the features, when i installed ics 4.0.4 the battery meter is stuck in 100% and the mobile would switch of all of a sudden saying battery is emply i tried deleting battery stats, formatted everything except sd card still no use it is still stuck.. i flashed gingerbread and the battery meter worked fine i was showing the correct percentage, once after i flashed gingerbread charged the battery to 60% and flashed gingerbread it was showing the right percentage... i know the sensor is fine coz its working in gb.. i tried battery calibration and different battery status apps all show 100%. ics once the batterys drained it doesnt charge properly..

I was on 4.2.1 rooted, I found on the notification center that 4.3 is downloaded and ready to install.
after clicking it, I got an error and it restarted and never passed the x screen.I tried hard reset wipe all data. no luck.
I tried N-Cry, nexus 7 toolkit.but nothing worked for me.
I am trying to unlock my phone. It's a rogers (Canadian) phone. I put a telus sim card in it, but when the phone boots, it says "activating phone", black screen with little spinney thing, then the phone continues to boot normally, and the main screen says "no sim in phone", and basically ignores the sim card.

No multi-touch input is all right because most phone out there still having the same capacitive touchscreen, but the 65 colours is really unforgiven.

There are no 16m colours screen anymore. I though no 16m is because software limitation but not its a HARDWARE issue. The different is so much obvious when I view a same picture and a video with Vivaz. Image projection wit x10 look dull but Vivaz picture look better, brighter (set to full brightness) and the colour look richer/darker when viewing the same video. I hope the announcement from the blog is not true, and hope that x10 is 16m colours ready as stated in GSM ARENA review [url] . BUT, overall of this phone are pretty impressive,and actually im having 1 of this. Everything from in and out is pretty good and awesome. Hope everyone in this forum could give their point of view or opinion on the 65k colours screen and wish SE could confirm with us that wheather its 16m ready.
the screen unlock slide bar has changed from left to right to right to left as if its for a left handed person, it done it whilst in my pocket any idea how to change it back?
