Apr 10, 2010the screen unlock slide bar has changed from left to right to right to left as if its for a left handed person, it done it whilst in my pocket any idea how to change it back?

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: No Lock Screen / How To Fix It?
Nov 11, 2010Just picked up my phone there and the screen unlocked as soon as I pressed the Home button. For some reason there is no Lock Screen coming up, though I have not changed any settings.
I have pressed the Power button to lock the screen so I could re-try it, still no lock screen coming up. Anyone else encountered this problem? Any idea how to fix it?

Sep 4, 2010I'm using mini pro. I set up the lock screen. But over the course of days, I notice something strange. When I turn on the screen, my lock pattern is show on the screen for a second before vanishing and letting me enter. This hint, for sharp eyes, can be a tell for my lock. Kinda beat the essence of locking the screen.

Love my fone so far, but had not too much time playing with it so far, but one thing that bugs me is that my screen auto lock straight after a call even if I am not back to my home screen, how can I stop it to do this. Reason is that when I unlock it again, I am at the previous screen, I have then to cancel screens to go back to my home page to start again, this is a pain.

Jul 14, 2010Sometimes when I have my screen locked (either by pressing the screen lock button at the top of the phone, or automatically after the time-out) people are unable to call me, they get a 'busy' tone.
I have tried phoning my mobile from a land-line and I usually get through and from that point on the other person can also get through to my mobile
Have I done something wrong or have a setting set incorrectly?
I'm missing calls as people cannot get through to me.

Aug 2, 2010I usually tap the off button to turn off the screen when I put my phone inside my front pants pocket. I even have the security feature on so when I turn on the phone, I first have to draw a pattern to unlock it. However, I've noticed that sometimes after I've done all this, my X10 seems to be doing stuff on it's own, ie) downloading pic from the net, sending random text messages, randomly calling contacts. I know because sometimes after I "unlock" my phone, I see that the phone is in the middle of doing something. I thought by turning on the security feature, it's supposed to prevent accidental taps on the phone and doing random things while inside the pocket.

Jul 29, 2010So I did some modding (unfortunately) to the framework-res.apk file and it worked the first time and a few other times but then I changed something and now when I turn on the phone it freezes at the "Sony Ericsson" screen before the logo. What do I do?
I tried pushing the backup framework file but it says "failed to copy framework-res.apk to /sdcard/framework-res.apk: Permission denied
However, when I use adb devices, it does show my device as being attached.
So what can I do now?
I was also able to pull files...
Also tried manually putting the framework-res.apk in the sdcard and then using adb to copy it to the framework folder. Doesnt work. Saids that the directory cannot be open for read. I guess the device cant read the SD card until it boots up.
