HTC EVO 4G : Match Competition Video Quality Of Samsung - Iphone
Jul 19, 2010I was watching the camera videos filmed at droid Dog site of the samsung g vibrant and another camera beats ours. The iphone 4 is the leader in video but htc can't even beat Samsung. Is this hardware or software? This is worth rooting over if we can match the competition video quality. I love the phone but come on htc you can do better.

When that contact makes a call to me or I call them, the contact photo comes up on the phone app and is very low quality and almost pixelated. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I couldn't find a spot to change the resolution or quality.

Jun 6, 2014I have just switched my phone from Iphone5 to Note3. I love the phone it's big bright screen very thing is nice. I am also a video freak I like to take a lot of video of my dogs on post it on Facebook. After a while I return to the video I uploaded it and the quality of the videos was CRAP!! I have no clue what I did wrong or what option I didn't choose. I went into the menu to see if I have checked on the UPLOAD HD VIDEO option like on iphone. There is no option to choose.....

If she calls me through the facetime feature on her iphone is there a way for me to connect to her video call so that we can both see each other on video? Do I need to download an app(maybe an app made by apple that is made to run on android phones) to enable my phone to have the capability of accepting facetime calls made from her iphone? Or should we just forget about the facetime nonsense and just use something like skype or another similar app that will run on both the iphone and android devices? But she does not want to go to the trouble of singing up to something in order to use an app.

Apr 25, 2012Recently I flashed to this ROM [URL] .... from a stock ROM. Have done it a few times before and no problems have occurred. It's an MIUI rom and I decided to customize the theme a little. The themes section allows to change most of the detail ie fonts, status bar, home screen, lock screen, icons, boot animation.
And that's where it started, when I changed the boot animation, instead of using the default one. When I did a reboot after the switch, the usual boot logo was up, but then the screen turned pixelated like a CRT monitor/damaged LCD screen with colourful pixels. But then in boot into the new animation all fine, and has been ok since. The device boots fine, but I'm worried about that pixelated screen.

Apr 16, 2012I currently have an Motorola Atrix and it wont charge. The battery shows completely dead. When I plug the phone either into the USB or the wall charger, the led light will turn green and the phone powers on and is completely functional. However, it does not show that it's taking a charge (w/ either usb or wall). Once the plug is removed the phone will shut off and wont turn back on until I plug it back in. I've tried several chargers, stock and non-stock and they work on other phones with no problem. I bought a new battery and it worked for about an hour (guessing it was already charged) plugged it in (both usb and wall) will not show a charge. Now, it's back to the same thing. Battery is completely dead and it will only work when it's plugged in. Also, when I plug it in by usb the computer does recognize it.

Sep 23, 2012I have recently got an ICS update on my Motorola Atrix 2 in India. I have been using gingerbread for quiet a long and now suddenly everything has changed.
I have anyway explored almost all the changes in ICS. But I am still not able to find one feature which I really loved in gingerbread.
When I press and hold on empty part of home screen, a pop up comes up listing widgets, shortcuts, folders and wallpaper which is now replaced by wallpaper only. However, widgets can be still added after pressing menu key and selecting widgets tab. Folders can created by just dragging and dropping apps on one another.
But the most shocking part for me is that there is no way I can create a shortcut or at least I didn't find. I had pinned "catch" notes on my home screen in gingerbread which is not working anymore although the option is still there in the catch application.
Using Astro File Manager, I used to create my important folders from sd card as shortcuts on my home screen which is also not working any more. Is there anything I am missing out or ICS for motorola atrix 2 doesn't have that feature?
General :: Atrix Boots But Can't Unlock Screen
Dec 21, 2011My Atrix crashed a few days ago after ADW launcher locked up and I had to force close it. The phone was locked up at that point so I pulled the battery. Ever since, the phone will boot, but I can't unlock the screen or access anything via the touch screen. I can see the notification bar and I hear notifications from my calendar. It seems as if everything is working in the background, I just can't access anything. If it can't be fixed other than a hard reset, is there any way to backup my device using adb since I have no access to the device?

Jul 4, 2012I have a Motorola Atrix 4G, manufacturer ROM, not rooted, Android 2.2.2.This morning the phone alarm went off as usual (Ben Harper) but then suddenly stopped.Checked it, no mp3 avalable anymore but in fact, the whole (internal) 'sdcard' folder had disappeared.
Re-booted: a new sdcard was created. All my personal files have disappeared.how to recover the previous 'sdcard' folder?
