I have a friend in Colorado(I am in SC) and we want to video chat. I have the bionic, he the iphone 4s. How do we do this? When I go to "talk" icon I am listed with GREEN camera by my email address. My friends name is listed and where I have a Green camera he has an "x". How can we hook up?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI took the video of my grandson swearing in to the U. S. Air Force on my Droid Bionic phone using COLOR and thinking I was broadcasting it live, but evidentally I was not. SO now I have it on my phone only and cannot find a way to share the video. I am deathly afraid it will get damaged or lost. His mom died in a homicide and needless to say this is a valuable piece of family memory to me to risk losing if the phone gets lost or damaged.

With iOS4, they can basically do a group text chat that has all the users receiving the messages from everyone in one location and all messages are saved. This is basically like a chat group using text messages. My question is whether android has any apps that can allow us to "join" these chats. I asked my friend to add me as a user to the chat but all that accomplishes is letting me get individual messages from each member of the chat. If I wanted to reply to the group, I would have to reply to each one individually.

I have the samsung galaxy s blaze 4G phone. My friend has an iphone and she has the facetime feature on her iphone which allows her to make video calls. My phone is an android as you know. If she calls me through the facetime feature on her iphone is there a way for me to connect to her video call so that we can both see each other on video? Do I need to download an app(maybe an app made by apple that is made to run on android phones) to enable my phone to have the capability of accepting facetime calls made from her iphone? Or should we just forget about the facetime nonsense and just use something like skype or another similar app that will run on both the iphone and android devices? But she does not want to go to the trouble of singing up to something in order to use an app.

But lately, specially since a lot of my friends are getting android powered phones, I have grown to really liking it. I actually like using it over text messages. I think that if I can get the majority of my friends to use it I might be able to lower my text message plan. Also since I get terrible reception in my apartment I find that having people contact me through Gtalk works out a lot better since I am on wifi at home. I would like to see a widget come out for it (which is the big advantage of text messages over it), and I hope google develops it more. I would also like to see maybe video chat integration since Gingerbread is suppose to have built in support for it.
