I have a Motorola Atrix 4G, manufacturer ROM, not rooted, Android 2.2.2.This morning the phone alarm went off as usual (Ben Harper) but then suddenly stopped.Checked it, no mp3 avalable anymore but in fact, the whole (internal) 'sdcard' folder had disappeared.
Re-booted: a new sdcard was created. All my personal files have disappeared.how to recover the previous 'sdcard' folder?

after flashing AOKP all of my files disappeared its like creating another folder for the sd card . and the old one disappeared. i checked the recovery so the old folder ( with my photos and files ) in the storage but it doesnt appear to me even in the computer . i used root explorer , astro i didnt find the old folder ( named 0 after flashing ) ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Motorola Atrix 4G has lost its RAM. I have no idea of what's going on, except that from previous 1G ( i think it was like 700 or 800 available) I have only 300M left. The RAM HAS JUST DISAPPEARED. I'm not talking about Ram being occupied by apps and processes. I was having some issues with it later, so I recently performed a hard reset, clearing also the internal memory and the memory card.

To add music to my moment i usually take out the SD card put it in the adapter and and drag music into the music folder from my laptop once the SD card in in plugged in. The last time i did this, i put the SD card back into my phone after just adding music to it and my music library was empty. i plugged the SD card back into the computer and the music folder is missing. i tryed to add all the songs back into the phone but the computer tells me the SD card is too full. Ive checked the entire SD card to make sure i didn't just accidentally drag and drop the music folder somewhere else but theres been no luck. any suggestions?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI currently have an Motorola Atrix and it wont charge. The battery shows completely dead. When I plug the phone either into the USB or the wall charger, the led light will turn green and the phone powers on and is completely functional. However, it does not show that it's taking a charge (w/ either usb or wall). Once the plug is removed the phone will shut off and wont turn back on until I plug it back in. I've tried several chargers, stock and non-stock and they work on other phones with no problem. I bought a new battery and it worked for about an hour (guessing it was already charged) plugged it in (both usb and wall) will not show a charge. Now, it's back to the same thing. Battery is completely dead and it will only work when it's plugged in. Also, when I plug it in by usb the computer does recognize it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently got an ICS update on my Motorola Atrix 2 in India. I have been using gingerbread for quiet a long and now suddenly everything has changed.
I have anyway explored almost all the changes in ICS. But I am still not able to find one feature which I really loved in gingerbread.
When I press and hold on empty part of home screen, a pop up comes up listing widgets, shortcuts, folders and wallpaper which is now replaced by wallpaper only. However, widgets can be still added after pressing menu key and selecting widgets tab. Folders can created by just dragging and dropping apps on one another.
But the most shocking part for me is that there is no way I can create a shortcut or at least I didn't find. I had pinned "catch" notes on my home screen in gingerbread which is not working anymore although the option is still there in the catch application.
Using Astro File Manager, I used to create my important folders from sd card as shortcuts on my home screen which is also not working any more. Is there anything I am missing out or ICS for motorola atrix 2 doesn't have that feature?
I bricked my motorola atrix 4g when i boot it boots into AP fastboot flash mode flash failure and if i power up and hold down both volume keys it says boot mode selection available boot modes normal powerup recovery ap fastboot bp tools normail power up gives me invalid CG OTV invalid CG version and invalid CG OTV recovery does not work flashboot does and bp tools does nothing i just got this phone for my birthday!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just recently rooted my phone(iball Andi 5c) which runs on android ics 4.0.3..Mainly to use the sd swapper so I can get more space for apps but I have seem to have made a mistake when I used some sd swapper app.As soon as I used it rebooted my phone.I thought it did what it was meant to do but instead both my ext sd card and usb storage disappeared... gone poof just like that. Now I have no storage only phone memory.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been using your JB builds on my Motorola Atrix mb 860. When ever I call or a call comes, I can't hear anything unless I'm on speakerphone or I plug in Bluetooth headphones. I even replaced ear speaker flex cable. But still I am unable to hear anything.
I already did the factory reset, wiped cache/system and data and also tried different JB flavors for atrix and also stable CM 7.2 on the sdcard.
one is clearly the folder for my actual sdcard (sdcard2) and the other (sdcard) seems to be where all my apps and downloads go. this creates an unreliability being that the phones sdcard folder isnt connected to my removable card and thus making backups useless.

The recording seems to stop as soon as the screen times out and the phone enters what I think is sleep mode. I've noticed that some apps(Tokasiki's Voice Recorder, for one) don't seem to have this problem on this phone(Motorola Atrix) and continue to record audio long after the screen has faded to black. I've tried using a partial wake lock but it doesn't seem to maintain the recording. Should I use AudioRecord instead of MediaRecorder? Voice Recorder seems to get by without using AudioRecord.

I have a folder where I store all my movie videos that I would like quick access. The Gallery is much too slow having to search all my pictures and videos on my entire 16GB SD Card to populate and it doesn't even display the video name (its difficult to identify movies by the small thumbnail it displays). The best way to launch these currently I find is to traverse the directory tree using an explorer app, but I prefer a quicker method if possible.

I'm trying to put my 6000+ mp3 collection on a 64GB microSD card (class10) and I can transfer them fine on my computer but when I go to view the folder on my phone it says there is nothing in it while my pictures folder (3GB) on the same card on the same phone shows everything fine. Using stock Android 4.1.2 on LG Optimus Pro G. Am I hitting some subfolder limitation or something?

Yes, I know a playlist would essentially solve my problem, but I sometimes choose the 'Shuffle All' option, which starts playing randomly from all the audio on my phone .. This is where the problem occurs, because Google Music often starts playing back those darn recorded calls :S

So, the files are still there. Is there a way to show the folders and files, because testdisk renames all the files.
