I have a droid razr. I can get netflix on my phone but my laptop has no wifi. Is there a way to stream netflix to the laptop so I can see on a bigger screen?

Is there an android app that would allow an android phone to stream Netflix on my television via Apple TV? I have researched iMediashare and double twist however none of these allow Netflix streaming via Apple TV.

Can the RAZR MAXX be used as a wifi base station for a wifi bridge/repeater (NOROOT) - not tethering. i'd like to extend my lan network over my droid. I get full 4G in my house 20-25Mbps average, and i don't need cable internet. I have been using usb/wifi tethering for months and would rather use my Netgear B/G/N router's bridging function to connect all of my devices rather than the radio on my droid.

I've seen threads on remote desktop but I want to be able to stream music from my laptop at home to my droid on the go. However, I want to be able to play all my music through winamp (because of it's preset EQ).
Is there a way I can remote desktop into my laptop through my droid so I can see the actual windows background of my home laptop (I have W7 Ultimate) and stream music to the phone by playing it through winamp?
I want to be able to listen to flac (which is the something droid can't do) which is one of the reasons I want to go through all this.
I rooted my mytouch 4g with the gingerbread rom, i installed the apk and patch for netflix and works perfectly. only problem is my wifi will not connect anymore.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a Dell Venue 8 which comes standard with Android 4.2.2 and it continuously reconnects to my wifi network. It just cycles through Connecting -> Authenticating... -> Saved, Secured with WPA and then starts over again with connecting. All other devices work on the network so it isn't the router. I've tried to toggle wifi on and off, toggle airplane mode on and off, forget and reconnect to the network, and turning it off and on and nothing has corrected it. I haven't found much googling this issue or on Dell's support page.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy droid razr asks for my password to my home wifi every time i go out of range and then come back and try to connect again. Using netgear wnr2000 with wpa. If i input my password and press connect, it lets me use wifi just fine. Updated netgear to latest firmware last night and browsed through all settings, but didn't see anything that might make a difference. Still does it today. Even just going out in the yard and back, have to re-enter pass if i got out of range. Doesn't happen with any other devices i use... laptops, other phones. Even reserved the ip that my phone currently had on the netgear for the phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have just bought an Android Smart TV Box (to replace my AC Ryan media box which gave up the ghost a few days ago) and it mostly works fine - it is connected to my tv via hdmi and the box is hard wired to my router - so it is the standard connection setup. I have two usb hard drives connected to it. I obviously want to drag and drop media files from my phone (android) or my laptop (Windows7) to the connected hard drives I use ES Explorer app on my phone and Windows explorer but using either version I cannot see the Android box wirelessly - if i do a scan using es explorer it finds the laptop straight away and i can drag and drop but it just will not find the android box at all. However if i go onto the Android box and into the es explorer app and do a scan it picks up the laptop and i can drag and drop a file onto the laptop. So the wireless is sort of working as opposed to not at all. But just seems odd that i cant see it at all - i cant even ping it from the laptop.

I've also tried it on my laptop using the same wifi connection but through the browser using thier website Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and it says im getting about 15 mps down and almost 1 upload.

I can access recover, fastboot, everything, just no qualcomm.
I flashed DSC 2.0 and streakmod recovery, still no go. WHAT CAN POSSIBLY BE WRONG WITH MY PHONE???

I've recently won a Dell Streak 5, but it appears to have been shipped without the Market or Play apps - when trying to download through the Google Play site, it tells me to open the shopping bag icon on my device - unfortunately, their isn't one!
I had a Dell Streak previously (until some git stole it on a train - I will find you Mr Thief, if you're reading) so i know market is available on the device - my g-mail account even contains all the old apps i have paid for when i was last using the same device
i'm aware i can probably install non-market apps using apk files, but due to laziness i really want to avoid this.

There are apps for VLC, Keynote and other applications that do this, so I know it's possible but don't know what technology base to use.
