Fairly simple, i like the HTC one but hate the lock screen layout. Is an easy way to customize this without changing anything else? Heard somthing about launcher but not what, how etc...

Is there a way to add more than one lock screens with WidgetLocker? I got interested when I saw this video. He has more than one lock screens.

I hate having the phone wake up in my pocket after unlocking with either fingerprint or pin.
The phone is set to lock after 5 minutes of inactivity - but if bumped in the pocket, the phone wakes up without the swipe lock screen.
Is it possible to use a combination of two lock screen types?
I'm looking for a way to change default screens in Sense. I like Sense, and most of the screens, I actually just want to lose the media player screen - I can access players from the apps screen, and I did not want to waste an entire screen on the player.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been getting this error near constantly the past day whenever I hit the Home button, and when the ui is working it's extremely slow to switch between screens. I can get the error near 100% of the time by opening an applicatio, then hitting the Home button. Then HTC Sense closes, sits at "loading" for a bit, then the phone is back to normal, albeit slow, till the next time I hit Home.
I had been running a live wallpaper of the Earth rotating in the background, and notice it rotates fine for about 3 seconds, pauses, then starts again, so something is eating up the processor I'd think?
I've uninstalled all recently installed applications. Stopped the live wallpaper. Stopped Locale. Stopped background sync, then turned it back on. Installed a task killer to see if there's a common element (none). Tried leaving the battery out for a minute.
Im intrested in finding a lock screen for my evo, and i dont want to pay for the lock 2.0 app because i read a bunch of the comments on the market and all i hear are complaints with a few 5 stars mixed in. so im intrested in hearing what lock screen's the rest of the evo population uses.

I abhor sliders so I have mine set to "Trackball Unlock" and back press duration of 5 seconds.
I decided today to look into lock screen replacements. I'd tried FlyScreen before, and felt it was way overkill. I just wanted something interesting where a third of my screen didn't just say "Sprint." I downloaded Lock 2.0 demo, which was sort of cool. But then I got a text message, which caused Handcent to do it's little pop up over the locked screen. Normally all good, but with the different lock screen, when I rotated the phone and slid out the keyboard, the screen did not re-orient itself. Is this an issue with Handcent? With Lock 2.0? Does it happen with any lock screen replacement?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC HD2 rooted with android based off the desire. I had a different build on my phone before so still getting used to it. I used to use the pattern lock on my phone and it would be the only screen lock. Now, with the desire build i have two. The standard frown looking sliding bar is there, which i don't like, and after i slide that bar to unlock then my pattern i set comes up and i have to use that to get into my phone. I would much rather just have one and prefer it be the pattern instead on the standard bar.

That said - I hate the lock screen. I don't know why, but that curved bar - swiping down..... i just don't like it.
The standard android lock screen, IMO, is 100x times better( nexus and droid).
Does anyone know if there's a quick way to turn off the sense lock screen, but keep sense active? I know there's ways w/ rooting. But I don't plan on rooting.... after flashing winmo phones forever, I know better. Fixes one thing, but usually something else ends up not working.
So basically - looking for a way to disable sense lock screen w/o rooting.
i flashed to the stock vanilla lock screen and want to go back to the original sense one. anyone know how to get that back?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI decided to rename HtcLockscreen.*, which effectively disables the Sense lock screen, and the phone defaults to the Android lock screen, which IMO looks a lot better and provides more function and information.
This morning, I discovered the downside of doing so. I had no way to shut of my morning alarm, which is set with the Sense clock app/widget. Normally, the alarm app communicates with the lock screen to give me an option to snooze/dismiss via the lock screen. But evidently, the alarm doesn't know how to communicate with the android lock screen.
So the only way I could figure out how to silence the phone was to power it down. I ended up downloading an alarm clock app, and I'm now using that instead of the Sense alarm. Everything is good again.
I was just wondering if anyone had a more elegant solution to this problem. I will not consider lockscreen apps like WidgetLocker.
I had a little time with the captivate today and noticed it has 4(i think) horizontal scrolling screens for apps. What happens when you fill those? Does it automatically add another one or what?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am plan B and AVG security installed, both don't always work, I have pattern lock on the phone but even in pattern lock mode when i press and hold power button the phone gives me option to shutdown.
If someone steals my phone they will be able to shut it off without unlocking it since holding down power button still works. So is there a way to lock the power button from shutting off phone when the phone is in pattern unlock mode?
