I'm getting a Nexus 4 and have backed up my apps on AppBrain. I cannot find fastweb installer in the Play store. Is this app someplace else? If not, is there another way to download my apps from AppBrain?

I have an HTC Evo 4g with a 16gb sd card. I went from an 8gb to 16gb and my phone will not let me move any more apps to the sd card. Its currently using 7.2 gbs, only half full.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an Orange UK branded HTC Desire HD running stock firmware & NOT rooted. Since the fairly recent 2.3.5 update with Sense 3.0 I have found that I am regularly seeing Sense restart upon exiting an app and returning to the home screen. This is not related to a particular app, as it can happen when returning to home from ANY app. My wife is seeing the same behaviour on hers too.
Having posted on both HTC's & Orange's Facebook pages, I have been advised in no uncertain terms that as a first step I should perform a factory reset.
This is something that I have not done since I got my DHD (my 1st Android - plenty of hard resets on WM ). I have had a bit of a tidy up - clearing unnecessary data, uninstalling apps I don't use, etc. Pretty much ready to reset (but aware that there is SOME data that I will lose). However, there is one thing that I am unsure about...
I have previously moved a number of apps to the SD card. If I leave them there, will the existing data be recognised upon reinstalling the apps? Or will it cause me problems? Or will the existing data just be orphaned? I.e. should I move all apps back to the phone before performing the reset?
I bought Cubot c9w android phone, i install 2 gb SD card on it, i can not install some apps on it for example facebook. after i tried to move apps from phone memory into SD card but impossible, there was not activated move to SD card button.
what have to do how to install or move after that apps to SD card to make phone memory free?
Since I got my Dinc back in June I have pretty much used AppBrain exclusively to install apps. If you know AppBrain, you know that your account automatically makes and saves a list of the apps you load. And you can sync this list with your phone to keep both current. It is also like a backup incase something happens to the apps on your phone. Well yesterday I was clicking my mouse faster than I was thinking and I deleted my "Apps on Phone" list from the AppBrain website. So my question is...If I run the "Sync with AppBrain" feature from my phone will it recreate the deleted "Apps on Phone" list on AppBrain or will it delete the apps from my phone

View 3 Replies View RelatedI was trying to free up space for my phone apps to run, by moving music files from the /emmc/music folder to my SD card. I succeded only when I resorted to using my PC connection, when both Astro and ES Explorer gave me "files cannot be moved" errors. I would prefer not to have done it this way, when I could have made use of such apps, but some part of the system is set against this. My phone isn't rooted, but I doubt that is the reason, as my PC was able to access files under /emmc (but not /system), and move them to my SD card. With my phone apps it's different, in that I cannot perform any operations at all under the root, not even copy (but I can look) Please help if you can!

I only have a few paid apps. Documents to Go Pro, Weather Bug Elite, Remote VNC Pro, but didn't want to have to pay for them again, if they can be moved over.

QUESTION: does the Fast Web Install still work with earlier versions of AppBrain?? I have kept v4.8 installed on my phone but I'm having a problem with the Fast Web Install. I'm not sure if I'm experiencing a temporary issue or if the Market update is affecting ALL versions of the Appbrain fast web push?
I just got my Galaxy Ace 2 x before Christmas and was trying to move my apps on to my 32 GB SD but it wouldn't let me. previously had lg optimus one which let you swap internal SD (I think) which aloud me to move installed apps on to it. When I looked up how to do this I read that i had to root my phone and since I just got the phone I really didn't want to break it. Is there another way to move apps to my Ext SD?

I have tried DirectoryBind but it seems to be not working on CM10.1 (it works on touchwiz perfectly)
Also I tried swapping memories (internal to external and vice versa) , it worked but installing apps from external sources will not work, or apps in /storage/emulated/0/... I have had this problem for a while now. Some apps just refuse to update. Appbrain being one of them. It says downloading then downloading failed. I even uninstalled it and installed from market still no go.I have about 5 apps that just refuse to update and now i dont even have appbrain because it wont download it. Anyone have a link to the apk to appbrian 5.11? or whatever the newest one is. When i press cancel download on the appbrain page it force closes.

Anyway, I cant get appbrain to sync. I installed appbrain on phone and have signed in with same account but none of my apps show up just the pre-installed ones on the phone. When I look on web all my apps still show up in My Apps.

AppBrain app says there is an update for TTS Service and Adobe Flash but when I try to install the updates via appbrain I get the following message for both Not found The requested item could not be found.
So I just did a factory reset and made sure I backed everything up, etc. One of the first things I did was install AppBrain so I could reinstall all of my apps.
When I open AppBrain on my phone, none of my apps show up to install. I keep hitting sync and it doesn't bring up anything. I logged into my AppBrain account on their website and all of my apps show up and next to all of them it says "Cancel install".
Is there any way I can install all of the apps from the website? I would hate to have to download and install each app separately.
I am trying to get my apps back after I got a replacement DX. I installed all of my apps with appbrain. I thought I could just re-sign in and hit sync, but it's not working. How do I re install my apps from appbrain?

I was able to store my game apps and other apps onto the SD card so I didnt use up all my space. Since the update, I can't store any games onto the app. The games do have the toggle button that says Move to SD Card, when I do it comes up with a Unable to move app.

But I just can't even begin to figure it out -- all I can do is move the apps to a home screen, but they'll remain in that app drawer folder.
I've moved some apps to the sd card to free up memory on the Droid 1.
I'm wondering what happens when I flash and install a new os. I'm sure that, like a Windows PC, the new ROM won't see those apps on the sd card. No problem reinstalling.
