I got to the Volume Down+Camera+End step and plugged in the USB and it said "USB device not recognized." Something like that. I tried for about an hour, restarting PC, toggling USB debugging, and turning off the phone. After that, I got fed up and deleted the update software from my desktop and told my mom to take me to Sprint next weekend.

I have used Sync Manager and 'ADDed' an MP3 file (originally from a CD - a learn French course) - BUT it won't arrive at the HTC One.
I have a samsung epic 4g, rooted with Kernel version 2.6.35.7-gefb31a4. I installed PDA net on my phone and on my macbook pro. I see the Icon on the top bar of my mac but there is always a red "X". I clicked debugging and everything the application told me to do on my phone and on my computer but every time I plug it in and press connect, my mac tell me there is no phone connected. I have done all the proper updates. my goal is not to have to always use my wifi tethering.

One of my main queries is though, file transfer from my Galaxy to my MacBook Pro - why can't I see previews of what I'm transferring? I have to transfer the file to my MacBook, and then decide if I want to keep it or not because that's the only way it'll reveal what it is. I thought I'd be able to SEE what's on my phone to then be able to select what I want to transfer. But all I see are file names which as you know are always just like IMG_0000786597.jpg
I'm loving my new Note 2, and hating my formerly loved Macbook Pro. The latest in a series of fails is this: I have a 64gb sandisk sdhc card that was working in the Note just perfectly, but the macbook could not read it via its card reader (or any other way, really). Like a fool, I tried reformatting it in the mac's disk utility. That failed halfway through, and the card will no longer mount in my Note 2. Thus, I can't format it there, at least in any way I know of.
How I might be able to reformat the card, it would be lovely. I heard about a windows app called bootlce, but I don't have bootcamp set up right now (and my only windows copy is xp, not sure if that would see the card either).
When i plug my phone into my mac at work, the computer doesn't recognize the phone and the phone doesn't recognize that it's been plugged into a computer. it starts charging but no alert about being plugged in by usb, and i can't gain access to options like choosing ptp or mtp. on the mac, android file transfer just says "no device found" as if nothing were plugged in.

So all of a sudden my phone will not connect to any computer regardless of what usb cord I use. I get a message that pops up in windows that says "USB Device Not Recognized" yet my phone is charging. I've wiped multiple times and reflashed my rom and still no luck. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the USB drivers but it didnt do anything. I really need to be able transfer a ton of files to my sd card from my computer.

If I use cpufrills I can put the speed at 1.5 but he still fixes at 1.2,is there any solution? I dont have a backup of the original system because the recovery that loads from the SD card to do root is too primitive.

If i connect to pc when turned off, it will get stuck in the first image (the one with Battery and Lightning, but won't go through the second image (animation of battery "filled up" and battery percentage) At beginning i thought about an hardware problem, but these 2 strange behaviours give me the idea of something software inside the phone that's not working in the right way.

I used winrar to open a com apk file and edit a specific text file however I accidentally didn't un-click the "use as default program" box and now right-clicking and apk file will not display the decompile option or install to phone option any longer. I figured since the default program had been changed it was not being recognized by one click apk any longer so I deleted the default program for the apk file type in the registry and uninstalled then re installed the shellext for APK_OneClick however the right-click apk options still will not show. I can recompile folders to APKs but nothing else.
I am assuming my problem is fro the whole winrar accident as the icon provided with OneClick no longer is displayed for apk files either I just can't solve the issue.
I have tried open file with whe right clicking apks and it will allow me to select the decompile file in the APK_OneClick folder manully but then after recompiling the disarm folder back into an APK it fails to install to the phone via USB and after moving it to the phone it has a parsing error.

The phone is about a month old and the headphones have stopped being recognized after about two weeks, I've tried about 4 different sets of headphones and all work fine, with headsets (3 different ones) you can hear but not use the mic. The phone doesn't recognise they are plugged in so the FM radio won't work, and the speaker won't turn off.
I've tried the various threads and google searches so have checked the socket for thoroughly for dust etc. (torch & tweezers) but nothing.
The fact they work but don't aren't recognised makes me think it's a software issue such as an app I've installed that doesn't work well with ICS I'd like to avoid a reset & reconfiguring everything especially if it's not certain to work.

I have an el cheapo RFTech M109S tablet [URL] I've found drivers to get windows to recognize it (it comes up a s samsung tablet) but adb fails to see it.
I've tried start/stopping adb, different USB ports, different drivers (have not yet tried a different PC, don't have access to one). So my next step would be to modify android_winusb.inf and add in the correct VID and PID for this tablet.
I've already tried (re)installing the drivers and removing driver signatures in windows 8 x64. Moreover, changing the USB ports and cable didn't work either. The command "ADB Devices" works when the phone is on and in debugging mode. But once I run it in fastboot, I can't get past this screen.

I checked Samsung Galaxy s2, galaxy ACE, desire C, but none of them could get connected. In the device manager it shows an error "THE DEVICE CANNOT START (code 10)"
I even tried using ANdroid SDK drivers & also the SAmsung drivers on their site. But it coudnt start. Windows update also coudn't find a suitable driver for it.
I have been running varying versions of cyanogenmod 10.1 and 10.2 for about year on my T-Mobile Galaxy S3, but today I tried to update it to a version of 11 today without a computer, just on my phone through the standard Cyanogenmod built in rom updater. It downloaded fine, but when attempting to install it it had an error and stopped. Now the only thing my phone will do is boot into clockwork mod recovery mode, and download mode. The download mode won't be recognized by kies or my computer, though my computer does make a beep sound when I plug it in.
