I have a phone now it locked up because of too many wrong attempts so it's now asking to enter google username and password But guess what I am not connected to any WIFi and the phone is not on a data plan.
Is there a way i can bypass this?

i just got a new x10, put a visual lock on and forgot the pattern,tried too many times,phoned locked.keeps asking to sign in i have put e-mail address and every password i would have used and keeps saying wrong password

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was trying out the Pattern Lock feature on my HTC Incredible S and got locked out after too many incorrect attempts. I can't use my email address and password to verify my account as my data and wifi are switched off.
To get around this problem, I've transferred to my microSD card the XtraSec apk that will allow me to remotely switch on wifi and data. However, I'm not sure how to trigger the installation of the apk when I can't get past the lock screen .Can I use fastboot to access the file explorer app (ES file explorer) or apk installer app to get the apk to install?
I haven't rooted the phone and it's running the latest version of Android. I'm not sure if I have USB debugging enabled. I'd like to avoid doing a reset if possible coz I haven't backed up the things that aren't on the sd card.
I started streaming a video on Galaxy S2. I wanted to pause it and when I touch anywhere on the screen a white lock appears. I can't do anything now. The video is playing but I can't even navigate back to the home screen, bring up Settings...anything. How it got there or how to get rid of it.

I was watching a video and it was comparing the size of the HD2 and EVO and when the phones were side by side with the home screens showing...clouds were flowing through the HD2 and I absolutely loved it! Obviously, it's a reflection of the weather in that city but I haven't seen that on an Android unless you go into the weather widget.So, can I get my EVO to show weather patterns on my home screen like that as well or is it just a Windows Mobile thing?

I've done the process of a recovery and then allow the red triangle to come up, from there i know i should hold power + Up, and that should take me to a black screen with blue letters, and i should select something about "partition" but this black and blue screen, i remember seeing it as a thumbnail in a folder i deleted. I thought it was an ad photo saved onto my phone as spam (as the folder was named adSOMETHING) and so i deleted it and now, i feel i have have screwed myself over. I have no way of getting another phone right now. How can i get my laptop to read my phones connection and allow me to copy and paste the files needed to get it running again?

Orange customer service has told me to get in touch with google, in order to delete the old account [whatever that may be] but there is no number for google customer service.

Mind you this was just on the screen where after about 5 tries it locks you out for 30secs. So i keep playing around with it and than the email and password screen shows up, saying i have to log in. Alrite sure, so I just put in my credentials and it fails.
Things I have tried:
1. @gmail.com, @googleemail.com
2. password null
3. case sensitive
4. playing around with people calling me and emergency dialer, etc.
5. changed password

I'm wondering if there's an app out there that can track traffic patterns/route times. I know that those Runners apps. can track speed/time to destination, but I'm interested in being able to track which highways/roads have the most/least amounts of traffic on which days and at which times, or which roads cause you to wait the longest at certain lights, so that I can know in advance (the app. would alert me which route to take on which day according to data collected over time). I've always been kind of fascinated by traffic patterns, but I'm also a fairly focused driver, so I don't generally look at times it has taken me on different days. You can feel like taking a back way one day, but does it really save you any time with all the lights you hit instead?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm locked out of my phone and I believe it's being caused by the "No lock" app. There was an upgrade available for that app, which I performed today, and a few mins later when I went use my phone I got presented with a keyboard to enter a password to continue. I have never set a password for this anyway. So I'm locked out and cannot access anything.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've been looking around for a while trying to see if anyone posted something like this and I have not found anything quite like what is going on with my phone. I got my pattern code wrong enough times so my vibrant is requesting I enter google account information in order to let me in. I have not been able to access the phone this way since it will not accept the google info I am inputting. I know my username and password are correct since I have verified them on my computer to ensure that I am using the correct information.
I have followed the instructions for accessing the recovery mode menu..and have deleted user data and cache twice, and the phone is still prompting me to enter my google username and password. I contacted TMobile support and they were useless. Is there any way for me to bypass this screen? What is the proper way to do a real master reset of my phone that will actually delete the data I have already inputted into the phone?
I am somewhat freaking out because I just bought this phone today, and cannot believe this is happening. I've been searching these forums and online for hours looking for a solution but nothing that I have found has worked. If I could get the phone back to factory settings that would solve the issue, but I can't find a set of proper instructions that actually delete the data since the phone is still prompting me for the google information due to my getting the pattern code wrong.
I'm with VF, luckily I didn't get the dreaded OTA last week. My phone is totally unbranded, so I'm wondering if it will let me install 2.2 manually without the need for a goldcard and all the messing about. is there an easy way to check ? I don't want to attempt an install for it to screw up and brick the phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedToo many failed pattern attempts due to a friend attempting to get into my phone. I have forgotten my gmail login. I tried to send username to backup email address but I tried the only other 2 email addresses I have, only to recieve an email from google stating that an account didnt exist with these backup email addresses.
After fighting with sprint for 3 hours I came to find out they are unable to give me the info to the gmail account that THEY set up when I got my EVO. Apparently the only thing they can do is reset my phone causing me to loose all of my numbers, photos, ect
I can't open my HTC magic..I locked my phone so you had to "draw" the code everytime you used it..The problem however is, that I've drawn it wrong to many times..I now have to type in my google acc. But I'm unable to do that, cause my magic is offline, to turn it online, I have to open it,. So, that's impossible..
