General :: Startup Delay In A2DP Bluetooth Audio
Feb 19, 2012I use a BT A2DP headset with route planners Sygic and Navigon running on a HTC Flyer tablet with Android HC. With every spoken instruction the first 2~3 seconds are lost because of some delay when audio is started. I know for sure that this delay is not in the headset.

Oct 3, 2013I notice a slight delay opening Contacts (3+ seconds) and Dialer (1+ seconds) in my Note 3.
This happens when opening them for the first time. After they've been opened once, opening them the second time is instant.
However, this happens again after I clear all the running apps and opening the Contacts and Dialer again (I clear them using the stock task manager, press and hold Home button).
I'm not sure if it happens right after unboxing (I didn't really pay attention to this at the time).But it could also happen after I turn off and uninstall updates on some of the bloatwares,or after I install the update to the bug in Keyboard from Samsung, though I'm not sure.
Specs:
-Note 3 Exynos, Stock Samsung (no firmware update yet)
-No New apps installed at all, just some updates to the bloatware and Keyboard Update from Samsung
-800+ contacts, all google and synced together with gmail
-The 3 settings in Development Mode (The animator, transition etc) are set to OFF
-S Voice is removed from the Home Button

Oct 23, 2012I have a Garmin-Asus A10 that i wanted to change its font using Type Fresh app. When the font changed the app required a reboot,, but when the phone rebooted it became unable to boot after the garmin-asus logo anymore !!
I tried a hard reset using the volume keys pressed with the power button but it displays "**WIPE USERDATA**" on the top left corner and nothing happened.There is an option to hold the volume up key with the power button that displays " USB POLLING MODE " in a blue screen.
My phone now is not able to boot properly and freezes on the startup logo.
General :: Phone Dialer Is Blocking Screen
Aug 7, 2012I have a chinese Iphone copy (MT6573 processor, android 2.2) with a laucher that mimics IOS.
I'm having a problem with the phone dialer. Always when I originate a call, the dialer blocks the screen, what makes impossible to finish the call. The dialer app image is on screen but when I press the button to finish the call or the back button, screen just go black. When I press again, it returns to the dialer screen, but if I press buttons again, the screen is cleared again. The dialer just releases the screen when my interlocutor finishes the call or telco operator finishes the voice mail.
I installed GO Dialer EX and Espier Launcher, but the problem persist.
Motorola Droid :: Startup Programs - Edit What Loads On Startup
Jan 7, 2010Every time I start my phone it seems that every program in the app catalog starts up. Until I activate the Advanced Task Killer and shut them all down, the thing runs like a hog. I have quite a few programs installed, but I dont use them all all of the time. Why do they all start up and is there any way beside the ATK to stop them? Is there any way to modify the startup files?

Aug 23, 2010I recently bought this phone from Rogers (I still have a week to test this thing out to make sure it's not broken) I'm noticing that answering incoming calls can sometimes take up to 20 seconds before the other side can hear me! I can make calls and people can hear me as soon as the call begins but I'm answering the phone after it has shut itself down (I mean the screen goes dark and then I need to slide the slider on the screen to answer the call) SOMETIMES there will be a few seconds delay, sometimes nothing but I've had up to 20 seconds delay on multiple occasions I'm running 1.6, and from the sounds of it, we won't get 2.1 until next month but is ANYONE else getting these issues? Should I return this phone for another? This is inexcusable and I am having too many callers hang up the phone on me because they think they have a bad connection but in reality there is a delay before they can hear me.

Mar 10, 2012I'm having some boot delay in my Galaxy Ace. It runs 2.3.4 gingerbread and takes 1 minute to boot up ! When i bought it, it was very fast indeed, arround 20~40 seconds to boot.
My boot starts with the Samsung words, then an android animation comes, it ends, then something writed Google in the screen and bellow it has the loading circle, the same when you're waiting a video on YouTube.
I can do something to speed it up ?
HTC EVO 4G :: Stuck On Startup Screen / Can't Get My Phone Back
Oct 31, 2010I think I might be in serious trouble here. I'm new to smartphones in general and wanted to root my Evo so that I could get rid of that annoying bloatware and maybe find some cool functionality.I'm new to forums too, but I did dig through a ton before I posted this and didn't see a solution to my problem.I used unrevoked 3 to root the phone. Worked fine. Tried to install Fresh through Rom Manager, but couldn't get it to flash by installing from sd card. Sort of abandoned that and moved on to Bugless Beast. I downloaded that to my computer transferred to my phone and tried "install from sd card" again. No luck, it just gave me the startup screen "htc evo 4g" and stayed on.I used nandroid to restore to my previous settings with no problem. I decided to partition the hardrive and try to flash bugless beast again. This would have been fine, but I didn't realize that partitioning removed the clockwise back up file.So, now I don't have anything to restore back to and it is stuck on the "htc evo 4g" screen.I can still get into the hboot, so its not a total loss yet.

Nov 5, 2013Running into another issue regarding my S4 here. Before the 4x2 clock widget I had would always be in sync to that of my carrier's time. Now, when I scroll around my phone or go back to check the time or even after unlocking my device, the widget is a good minute or two behind of my actual provider's time. It takes itself about 30 seconds to correct itself, I was just curious if there is anything I can do to fix this issue?

Dec 15, 2009From day one, everyone in my family has noticed that when I start up my phone it automatically sends everyone covered by my family plan (4 other phones) a blank text message. I've looked for a button to uncheck this feature, but none exists (to my knowledge). Last night I mentioned it to my local service rep and they're at a loss. They've heard it happening, even amongst themselves, but don't have a solution.

Sep 21, 2010So this morning, I put my phone on a little pile of clothes on my bathroom sink. I take my shower, get out and it's still sitting there. I tool around for ten minutes, and of course, after sitting there perfectly for almost 25 minutes, I go to brush my teeth with the water running and doesn't it pick that 1 minute window to slide off into the water. It was in the water for maybe half second. It was not submerged or have water run on it. It was back down in the water. I grabbed it, immediately rubbed the water off and removed the back cover and battery. Everything was dry. I thought I dodged a bullet. I out the battery back in and restarted. I came back a minute later and it was off. I tried to restart, nothing. I plugged it in, and the charge indicator did not come back on. I pulled the battery again, and blew into where the battery connects and noticed water coming out! Not a lot, but it was there. It either got in through the HDMI or USB, or, more likely though the back of the kickstand.
Stupid me thought I got it all out, put the battery back in and tried again. This time it made it to the Sprint 4G screen then died. I put the phone in a bag of uncooked rice. When I got to work, I pulled it out and after shaking the rice out of it (let me tell you how much rice got into to phone!!), I used compressed air in it. I didn't see any more water. I put it back with the rice and am now just scared to death. Not sure how long I should wait to put the battery back in and try it. So, this is the second evo I had as I exchanged the first one for screen separation issues. I noticed that the first phone I had water damage indicators on the outside under the cover. Now, I don't see them. If they were still where they used to be, I'd be in the clear since it never got wet back there. The battery indicator is fine. Just can't find the other ones now and I'm scared to death that when I tried to restart I may have permanently ruined my phone and I have no insurance.

May 3, 2010I recently tried flashing Demagless 2.0.8 and now my phone is stuck on the HTC Black logo screen while the phone is starting up I have done a clean wipe and reflashed demageless 2.0.7.2 and also fresh 2d but now I get the same problem previously I've had fresh 2d installed and worked perfectly fine. I can still access my root but no matter what rom I flash it won't start up.
