General :: Opening Internet Links In K-9?
Dec 26, 2012When I click on an Internet link in an e-mail opened in K-9 that nothing happens. However, if I long press on it, I get the option "open for viewing" which will open it in Chrome.
Is there a way to set this association so that the link will automatically open in Chrome?

The phone works fine,but the app store pre-installed in in chinese...so I installed googlplay, it installed fine, but when I click on it It does not open. Although I can install many of the application via 'apk installer' but its really hard to find to apps on 4shared and some local apps are only available on GooglePlay.
I am afraid to brick it incase I installed wrong image or rooted it incorrectly. I have rooted/jailbroken android, iphones, ipads in the past, but this time I m bit worried this time.I found another website 4pda.ru/forum/ index.php? showtopic= 400088 and found to be useful to some extent, but the image and contents are in russian, so not much of use either.

Oct 28, 2013My galaxy s2 was working fine yesterday. Today it tried to turn it on and it went to the welcome screen but go no further.
After clicking a few buttons it now doesn't even go onto the loading screen and I cannot turn it on at all.
I don't believe the battery to be at fault because it was on charge all night.
I have tried a soft and hard reset but the phone doesn't respond to either.

May 21, 2010I have had DC 2.08.1 installed for about 2 weeks with no issues. I decided to go ahead and partition the SD to utilized apps2SD as I was having memory issues. That process, while not smooth, went through okay and the SD card is working with the partition and apps2SD. However, ever since that was completed, my Windows 7 box no longer recognizes the phone either as a phone or as a drive. My Linux laptop recognizes the drive without issue.
Any suggestions on how I can reintroduce my phone to the Windows box, at least as a drive?

Oct 3, 2013I notice a slight delay opening Contacts (3+ seconds) and Dialer (1+ seconds) in my Note 3.
This happens when opening them for the first time. After they've been opened once, opening them the second time is instant.
However, this happens again after I clear all the running apps and opening the Contacts and Dialer again (I clear them using the stock task manager, press and hold Home button).
I'm not sure if it happens right after unboxing (I didn't really pay attention to this at the time).But it could also happen after I turn off and uninstall updates on some of the bloatwares,or after I install the update to the bug in Keyboard from Samsung, though I'm not sure.
Specs:
-Note 3 Exynos, Stock Samsung (no firmware update yet)
-No New apps installed at all, just some updates to the bloatware and Keyboard Update from Samsung
-800+ contacts, all google and synced together with gmail
-The 3 settings in Development Mode (The animator, transition etc) are set to OFF
-S Voice is removed from the Home Button

It is very difficult as even my contacts and messages aren't showing. Also sometimes it starts buzzing with no reason.
I have tried to re install some of the apps, however this did not work.

my idea is to conect a chinese tablet i have here. the tablet is a 7''. the adapter lets me mount the tablet but i wont be able to see all the screen.

Mar 19, 2012In my android app I use AutoCompleteTextView and refresh items list for each 5 seconds. Refreshing is working, when I call notifyDataSetChanged(). But when I type here something and it'll give me the list of matching items and then I close it manually, when another thread is refreshing the list and calling notifyDataSetChanged() dropdown list is showing automatically (even if I closed it before). And it's really annoying, because if list is long it takes whole screen and after closing it'll appear in another 5 secounds. I tried dismissDropDown() just after calling notifyDataSetChanged(), but it doesn't have any effect. It looks like dropdown is showing with a little delay. It's also not good way to fix it, because if user hasn't closed the list it'll close after a refresh. Also tried to take focus away - still no effect.
So I need a method to: update my items list (via notifyDataSetChanged()) without automatically showing dropdown list, but if dropdown was already showed don't close it.

Feb 6, 2012My company is considering the purchase of an Android app (minimum Andriod 2.1) for our salesforce and wants to buy some Android tablets to run it. Regarding its functionalities, we're talking about an app that collects barcodes through the tablet camera and sends them to our network using our VPN over 3G network.
Mi idea was to wait a few months more and instead of buying the tablets, renew the laptops and buy some W8 tablets and run the application over them and that's where I have a couple of doubts:
1) How can I emulate Android in Windows 7/8?
2) Is there any possibility for the emulator to recognize both the tablet camera and the 3G SIM for communications?
