I really like the zoom in animation when openjng apps in GB/CM7. I have a nexus s with ics on it and would like those animations back. I did it on my old vibrant running 4.0.4 but can find how to do it now.

I have a Advanced Task manager (in Market made by Aaron La) that you can use as a widget to close everything running on your Evo with the tap of a button. When you tap the widget every so often it will show how many thing it just closed. Whats annoying me is the fact I'll sometimes have 15-16 applications running that I never opened. It would be nice to see these applications AS they're opening rather then after they've drained the hell out of your battery. Does anyone know how this happens, how to prevent it and if theirs a better application. I know you cant exclude things but it doesnt resolve the issue of thing opening you dont want opened...

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been using JPA/JPP/JP4 with voodoo lagfix 5 pre6 for a few days now, and it's been working great... except for one thing. There is no lag while opening applications and stuff, but there is some stuttering while scrolling left/right on home screen, or up/down in menu... it's hardly noticeable, but still annoys me. Quadrant is giving me the same results as when i first flashed voodoo. Noticed one thing also, when i scroll down my notification bar it just doesn't drop as smooth as it was before, but just hangs at some point and then continues. I really can notice even a slightest change in performance, and i read that using voodoo wont cause any performance degradation.
Should i reflash my stock kernel and flash voodoo snapshot?
Ever since upgrading to 2.1v2, I get this message probably every hour. The process com.htc.bg has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Sometimes it comes up on its own, sometimes when I am opening applications, etc. Anyone else get this with the 2.1v2 leak?
View 49 Replies View RelatedDroid X gmail app: it used to go straight to my gmail INBOX whenever I selected the 'Gmail' app, but now whenever I have a Gmail notification and select the 'Gmail' app it goes to my account list and I have to select my Gmail account to get to the inbox even though I only have 1 account. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way to make it go straight to the Inbox instead of the account list every time I select the Gmail app?

I have a issue with the battery life tho, but I've noticed that the X10 randomly opens the following applications: Settings, "PlayNow", Moxier Mail and on rare occations Market.
Is there a way to fix this, other than installing a Program Manager to kill the apps every now and then ?
Also, have anyone found a way to improve the battey life without rooting the phone and installing "Setcpu" ?

I am using the fadeout animation to hide it and then in myListener on its end (onAnimationEnd) I put new resource as the image on the button.
Somewhere in my app code:

Seems there is a rule that the every 4th or 5th animation does not start ...

The phone works fine,but the app store pre-installed in in chinese...so I installed googlplay, it installed fine, but when I click on it It does not open. Although I can install many of the application via 'apk installer' but its really hard to find to apps on 4shared and some local apps are only available on GooglePlay.
I am afraid to brick it incase I installed wrong image or rooted it incorrectly. I have rooted/jailbroken android, iphones, ipads in the past, but this time I m bit worried this time.I found another website 4pda.ru/forum/ index.php? showtopic= 400088 and found to be useful to some extent, but the image and contents are in russian, so not much of use either.

After clicking a few buttons it now doesn't even go onto the loading screen and I cannot turn it on at all.
I don't believe the battery to be at fault because it was on charge all night.
I have tried a soft and hard reset but the phone doesn't respond to either.
We all had these moments when we just had the opportunity to take the perfect picture, but the camera app slowed us down and we missed it.
Thats why i came up with an idea which will allow you to take photos from your homescreen / anywhere with one of the hardware buttons without opening the camera app first.
Is this something you can achieve with the app tasker?

Last week I purchased the new Galaxy S4 Zoom and cannot tell you how very happy I am with the zoom feature. I am still exploring the Android operating system and having a good time.
However, I cannot find out how you capture the screen. This is a simple operation on the iPhone (two buttons held), and have to believe that the same is true with the Galaxy Zoom.
Our family is really into weather stuff and I often capture a screen image from WeatherBug and email it to the kids.
