I' ve got some S4 clone phones and one of them suddenly after a restart couldn't boot. Neither my PC recognizes it as a device. I changed it the battery with other which were fully charged but nothing. I tried to boot in recovery mode or download mode and nothing. The phone is dead.

I bought an S4 clone, Manufacturer alps Model GT-I9500.
I tried with ALL ROM i found, and with GT-I9500_MT6572_ALPS-JB3(fix) ROM without success Even when i wana format or do memory test i get
Code:
BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032)
[EMI] Enable DRAM fail
Problem: When pressing the power button to turn phone on, there is no samsung boot logo. the only thing that shows up is a black screen, [the backlight] it will stay that way until the battery dies.
i know it's not a problem with the display because i can get to the recovery screen by pressing the three buttons. i tried numerous wipes and factory resets, even tried to reboot from there. but it still wont boot up, it only ends up with that black screen. Also the green battery shows which further indicates that it's not a display problem.

That's basically all i know about this phone, i know it's a clone because on the hardware differences under the hood compared to the real S4. [it's probably a legend or a superking since it's from korea i think] im not sure which operating system it runs, from the looks of it i dont think it has one.
Some things i've tried: i downloaded android SDK, MTK droid tools, SP FLash tools, for some reason, i keep getting error 8200 in sp flash tools and mtk droid tools doesn't detect my phone. I tried flash updating firmware with adb sideload, it always ends up with an error ''aborted''. i can't enable usb debugging since the phone wont turn on.
Just rooted my Evo w flipz Fresh 1.0.1. All is wonderful. I have an 8GB micro SD card at the moment, and this ROM comes configured to install apps to the card (vs. internal memory) using apps2sd. The card has been partitioned to have a 32MB swap, a 768MB ext2, and around 6GB for FAT32. So the card is now _very important_, as apps and prolly extensions from the OS are now on it. I'd like to backup to an _exact_ copy of the card. Is there a way using command shell or some other utility to clone/mirror? I would actually like to upgrade to a 16MB card, and keep everything just as it is on my 8MB card (i.e. copy same configuration and end up w 14GB of storage).

View 4 Replies View RelatedI rooted my Galaxy Nexus and downloaded a CWM file and used the command prompt and according to the prompt everything is installed correctly, but how can I be sure it is actually on my cellphone? I need to know because I'm downloading the 200+ mb files now for 4.1 and I want to upgrade, but I have a fear I may not flash the zip files correctly.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I just bought a HTC Nexus Ones as my new Android phone. I've been preparing for this new phone, such as knowing that it's old, I'm going to flash a custom JellyBean ROM to it, ect. Anyways, I've been reading that you cannot install applications to the SD card of a Nexus One, only to the very small 512mb internal memory. I'm wondering what I need to do to be able to install all the apps and games I download and install to the SD card, so I do not run out of space.
View 3 Replies View RelatedBought a nexus 5 and cut and pasted 6 lecture recordings from my old GS3 to my nexus 5. Rooted the nexus 5 and deleted (accidentally) all the recordings. Is there any data recovery program or tool that I can use to retrieve them?
So, ctrl+x from gs3 ext memory card to ctrl+p onto nexus 5 internal storage. Wiped nexus 5 and now can't be found anywhere.
These recordings are extremely important (I know I lost them, I dont know what I was thinking)...
When I boot up my Nexus One, it takes <Sandlot>FOR-EVV-ERRR</Sandlot> to mount my SD card. I've got most of my apps on that card, so it's super annoying!
Like I've said, I've got a bunch of apps (40?) loaded on to this card, a few documents, 4 CDs... random stuff. I haven't formatted the card in a looong time... nor have I wiped the phone in a loooong time. I am a crackflasher - I flash a new ROM every day, but I VERY RARELY have issues, so that's why I haven't wiped in so long. I would be happy to just mount the SD manually through the terminal when I need it to.
The phone is a Nexus One. I'm running a CM7.1(or whatever it is) based ROM and kernel. The SD card is the 16gig one that came with the phone.
What's the terminal command to mount the SD card to the phone? So the ROM can access it?
Dropped my nexus in the snow and it got some leftover salt dried in the earpiece and in the nooks.and crannys where the bezel and the side meet. Theres dried salt in there and i want to get it out somehow im not sure how to clean something so narrow

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a VZW Galaxy Nexus. On 4.1.2 I can tether my Xbox wirelessly with success. On 4.2.1/4.2.2 I can't anymore. All ROMs and kernels fail. No configuration I try anymore allows successful tethering. Xbox reports the error that it can't get an IP address.
Can you wirelessly tether to your Xbox using Android 4.2.X, and if so, what phone are you using and what ROM and kernel.
I'm trying to determine if this is just a Galaxy Nexus issue, and if there is anything that will work with success. (I'm not the only person with this issue, but everyone I know with the problem has a Galaxy Nexus).
I am new android user i have this Galaxy Nexus i9250 it was updated yesterday to 4.1.2 and its not converted to 4.3 yet ! There is a small lock(opened) on my start screen(when i turn on my phone) below the Google logo. what does that mean? n my phone is not rooted !!
View 1 Replies View Relatedrecently I have received a Galaxy Nexus from A sibling because it had a defective charge port. I had replaced it (which included a new mic). I noticed my mic didn't work with phone calls (I understand that people were experiencing a muted effect, I cannot even hear a muffled sound. just fuzzy background recording) as well as with certain apps like snapchat. however with certain apps and features such as Smart Voice Recorder, and Text-to-speech feature, it functioned perfectly with clear recording. I have plugged in a external mic, as well as a two individual headsets with mic feature, and the same problem persist. I have even gone as far as to download the Soundabout app which allows me to decide what my primary recording device is, and still no resolve.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI encrypted my Samsung Galaxy Nexus several months ago and now I want to decrypt the drive and wipe the information. Nothing I have tried has worked so far.
The option to perform a factory reset through the OS has not worked. I make the selection, enter in my passphrase, the phone reboots into the green robot screen (like it was updating) then when it boots back up it asks me to enter in the encryption passphrase again and I do then it takes me to my un-wiped phone.
I have also attempted to reset it with the ClockworkMod Recovery and it will not work either. Giving an "Error mounting data!" message and similar message for the rest
I have my Nexus unlocked and rooted but it is running stock other than those two.

I wanted to make my own bootanimation for the Galaxy Nexus. So i pulled a bootanimation out of the ROM i am currently using and replaced the png with my own ones (same size).
Then i pulled the bootanimation back to the rom and flashed it... But the animation doesn't start. At boot up the phone just hangs at a black screen and i had to restore from the backup i made...I uploaded the bootanimation. why it doesn't work?
I an an Android app developer and I would like to attach my Galaxy Nexus to a projector (with VGA input unfortunately) in order to present my applications to other people when they are many. In this case I don't want to just start a presentation or show images, but I want the projector to reproduce what the screen is actually showing.
Is this possible? If yes, how? I've seen that in USA it is possible to buy a micro-usb to VGA adapter that works with Galaxy Nexus, but it is not clear to me whether I'm able to see the screen or only media files. I think that a special app is needed to show the screen.
I have uninstall OS of Samsung Galaxy Nexus I9250 from Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) and I have no backup of it to ?
