I have this game in my N4 but i want reset the game... I tried uninstall of course and clean SD files but when a reinstall, my savegame is there again
I think that is a file in "system" because when I wipe and update phone... I lost game progress so is inside phone, but where?

I want to flash some custom rom on my one x. I really like "Simpsons: tapped out" I'd like to continue playing it. My problem is, that I'm not sure if a Nandroid backup will be enough, since the game is syncing all the time and I don't know where the data is saved. transferring this app to another rom??? What do I need to do??? Is it even possible to properly backup this game?

The play store version is completely fine but laggy. The ganeloft is said to be much more better for the nexus's tegra 3.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo a while back, I used adb to put android 4.4 kitkat onto my Nexus 4 (unrooted) for the first time. Normally I would wait for OTA updates but not in this case. So, when I did that the google play store wasn't working. I was annoyed, and went to loads of forums and every time I posted a thread I would get no response. Google customer support's only advice was to factory reset. So I waited a few weeks until recently when the 4.4.2 update came out, so I tried installing it and there was an error. After even more posting to forums, and still no responses (strangely they were all active forums) I just now had to do a factory reset. However, I can't sign into google (it says that there was a problem communicating with Google servers and to try again later, and when I press next the message repeats infinitely until I press the home button.) and also my google play services are apparently incompatible with my device?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter doing a phone reset back to stock, (Galaxy Nexus 4.0.4) I copied back all my previous saved items from the "Downloads" folder (I had copied the Downloads folder to my PC) and copied them back to the phone.
Now when I open the "Downloads" app it doesn't show anything there. I had documents, pdfs, jpeg, etc.
NEW downloads from market, etc do appear, but nothing else. How do I get the system to refresh the contents of that folder? I've tried Settings, Media, Clear, but that doesn't do anything.
It's almost as if the phone recognizes timestamps of the day of the refresh, but anything earlier is not recognized.
So twice in the past two days, the screen isn't registering where I'm tapping on it. Last night, when I was trying to pick the middle right lower icon, it kept opening the menu. When I clicked the lower right icon, it would click the dot for the next window. It was seeming to register about a half inch lower on the screen than where I was actually pressing.
Another thing that was happening was when scrolling, it would click on things instead of scroll. I was in the Appmarket and scrolling through apps when it would click on one and then start installing. This was very frustrating although I was lucky none of the apps that installed were paid apps.
Its working fine now this morning but its a bit disconcerting. Has anyone been able to do a screen reset or reconfigure the touch?
The WiFi on my Nexus 7, 4.4.2. Tablet is acting strange lately. It will randomly disconnect from the current internet connection, and delete the entire WiFi password/login history. I have to fill in the password again for it to work again. Restarting my device didn't solve the problem, and WiFi optimization is unticked.

For example when someone exits I want them to be able to save and exit, then come back and click continue to pick up where they left off with all of the graphics in the right place, timer and score. Android Central Forums member Fabrian was at wit's end, and even talked of ditching his X (blasphemy!) because of the random bugs, general weirdness, and plain old unsatisfactory performance of his unit since the update.His last-ditch effort and ingenuity seems to have paid off. The secret? He has completely disabled the Froyo feature that restores data from previous installs. It's really just a matter of turning off the automatic restore feature before logging back into your Google account. It's a little odd that "Automatic Restore" is still checked by default, even when "Back up my data" isn't, but there you go.The method isn't too painful and does require one more factory reset, but the payoff appears to be a much smoother experience. Makes sense, too restoring data from Eclair to Froyo probably isn't a very good idea even if it is convenient.
We've verified it here, a hard reset in Froyo isn't really a hard reset, as things come back by themselves. Follow Fabrian's instructions, and you will have a pristine Froyo installation on your Droid X (or Nexus One -- Sense on Froyo has no setting for this that we could find). Any troublemaking leftovers will be no more, and won't get downloaded and installed automatically again. If you're being plagued with myriad tiny bugs in your Droid X after the update, give it a try! not sure if i should do a factory reset through settings > privacy or use the hardware keys to do the hard reset. does the hard reset wipe more stuff?

The game is called chess time and is a free online pvp chess game. I am trying to find the movement permissions to the specific pieces. I have had no luck. I decompiled the apk and checked all the xml's and cannot find anything that seems relevant. Where those would be? If it would be in any of the small files than I have more reading to do since how to modify those. Here's the apk:

View 2 Replies View RelatedLong time Droid user, brand new to the Fascinate Forum. I just bought my wife a Samsung Fascinate and I have to say the thing is absolutely phenomenal! It makes my Motorola Droid look like a 1990's flip phone!! Except for one problem the darned thing has been automatically spontaneously performing a factory reset / hard reset on itself.And it is happening at completely random times. You're sitting there playing a game, you're reading your e-mail or you just pushed the screen ON / power button to wake the phone up and unlock it and then, all of a sudden The phone reboots to the black and white Samsung startup screen, then recovery pops up and yellow writing appears that says "Formatting FOTA:", "Formatting DATA:", "Formatting CACHE:". Then the phone reboots again and comes up like you just pulled it out of the box; a full factory reset / hard reset. The contents of the SD card are thankfully fine.Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to turn on some sort of logging so that maybe I can figure out what causes it? This is now the second phone that this is happening to. We took the first phone back to Verizon the very same day we got it and they swapped it out right there for another brand new one. The second phone behaved perfectly for three whole days before it went and wiped itself. I have all of those apps and more on my Motorola Droid (also connected to the same Exchange Server) and my device is behaving just fine.I'm trying to think of reasons this might happen and I'm drawing a complete blank.
The only thing that gets on my nerves is this "game of the day"widget that appears on my home screen every other day. If I ckick it, it takes me to the App store. I have to manually remove it which bothers me. I have no idea how to stop it. is this some official Google thing, that's part of Android? I don't think it's something Acer put on the tablet, because today's app wasn't even compatible w/ my device.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a fairly cheap Yarvik tab (TAB264) running ICS 4.0.3. with a USB host and so far it has nothing else than impressed me !
What i'm trying to do is connect a game controller via USB to play games in emulators. I have a authentic PS3 controller with usb cable and an Xbox controller for the PC, with a USB dingle for wireless connection to the pc / tablet. I do not have bluetooth on my device, but i do have a bluetooth dongle. However, this is not plug and play. If I plug in a keyboard, mouse of mass storage device the tablet will recognise it. With a bluetooth stick this is not the case. I have seen serveral video's where people just plug in their xbox controller and it works, they only have to map the keys in to emulator and they are good to go. In my case, as with the bluetooth dongle, it is like its not recognised.
Is there a way to download drivers for either one controllers, universal controller support or the bluetooth stick ?

- Can i use the PS3 controller via usb ?
- Can i use to Xbox controlle via usb ?
- Can i install drivers for the bluetooth stick so i can use the ps3 controller wireless (whis would be awesome since bluetooth would be nice).

I have downloaded the game with the data on this mobile. Recently I got a note 2. I want to play this game on my note 2. But i don't want to download the data all over again. I already tried copying the com.nv3games.trainz folder (size 318 mb) from my old device to the obb folder of my new device, which didn't work. It's the only problem i got with this device Games are installing just fine, i can't download content. Is this problem device related or rather ICS? My friend got the exactly same problem on other device - GoClever A73, also with freshly released ICS - also only EA games.
My lenovo p780 is rooted. And i want to take backup of anomaly 2 game i bought on play store as i do not want to re download it as i am changing my sdcard. How to do it. And if i use titanium backup can i transfer that file to pc. And after copying it to my new sdcard will i be able to play it without re installing it?
