General :: Mirror Android Screen To PC Or TV?
Aug 17, 2012good solution for mirroring my android screen on my big screen tv? I've tried using MirrorOP and cloning my screen to a PC laptop and then plugging that in via HDMI to my big screen TV. Two problems there; one, it lags and two, it won't rotate to landscape mode.
I'm trying to play Final Fantasy III using my Kindle Fire for control and my big screen TV for display. There are DNLA solution but they won't work for games, only media.
Airplay on my appleTV with my wifes iphone 4s works exactly the way that I'm trying to duplicate with my Android.

May 31, 2010Installed my clarivue last night. It was really easy to install. This really helps with visibility outside, the screen isn't reflective like a mirror anymore. The touch screen doesn't feel as good as naked, but it repels fingerprints so I think it's worth the trade off. Excuse the dust.

How about two small rectangle mirrors mounted at 90 degrees with one edge of mirror touching just below the phone camera lens... and with some simple holder, it could turn phone into a front facing non reversed camera (2 mirrors -- like a periscope.)
Has anyone constructed this? Seems like it could be a simple product accessory that could world for multiple phones.

Jul 17, 2010Just rooted my Evo w flipz Fresh 1.0.1. All is wonderful. I have an 8GB micro SD card at the moment, and this ROM comes configured to install apps to the card (vs. internal memory) using apps2sd. The card has been partitioned to have a 32MB swap, a 768MB ext2, and around 6GB for FAT32. So the card is now _very important_, as apps and prolly extensions from the OS are now on it. I'd like to backup to an _exact_ copy of the card. Is there a way using command shell or some other utility to clone/mirror? I would actually like to upgrade to a 16MB card, and keep everything just as it is on my 8MB card (i.e. copy same configuration and end up w 14GB of storage).

First off I have to say the quality from just the camera itself is excellent for a webcam IMO.
The weird thing is that it seems to record a mirror image meaning if something is on the right in real life it's actually on the left in the video. The article explains it. You think it's something that can corrected through an update?

HTC Hero :: Wireless Teather Not Working - Black Screen
Mar 1, 2010I am running modaco 3.2 core custom rom ssh seems pretty good very little lag but cant help thinking that something is wrong as titanium back up, wireless teather and super user permision don't work they all load and then the screen goes black and says su request in the corner before saying activity su request(in application superuser permissions)is not responding, force close. i rooted and also started using gde home mod got to say it is pretty good although i had to pay for it but has a good replacement for sence only trouble is widgets don't seem to work or just aren't there except for clock,conversation, any of you experiencing this problem?is there something similar but better that widgets do work. what is the best firmware/rom upgrade e.g 1.6-1.8 or 2.1. Has anyone got these working well on the hero. Is there a big delay when waiting for a alert after you receive a message or is it just my hero?

Nov 14, 2010My HTC Eris' battery went dead last night. I plugged it into the charger and tried to restart it, but it won't go past the Verizon Wireless screen. I've tried removing the battery numerous times, but it still won't go past that screen. Any suggestions?

Oct 4, 2010I rooted my Samsung Fascinate. Installed Titanium Backup and managed to uninstall some bloatware.
I would like to remove the text "Verizon Wireless" from my pattern lock screen and replace it with my name.
When I rooted my HTC Eris and loaded KoasFroyo I encountered a similar situation where that ROM made it say Team AndIRC. I was able to do what I wanted by replacing eri.xml.
When I try to use ADB to push that same eri.xml file to my Fascinate I get an access denied error. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Any guidance would be appreciated. Since the phone is locked I want my name available on the front in case it is ever lost.

I always run into the same problem though. wired or wireless, i cant get it to connect right. wired never works in any way but i dont really care about that. wireless however shows some signs of working. it shows some data has been sent, not received though. and my computer will detect and connect to it, but seems to lose the signal after a few moments. when i bring up a browser it doesnt even look like something might load. it just says im offline. could someone help me with this?
The other part of this problem is i really just want to connect to my computers ad hoc network and use a wireless keyboard and mouse program. none of them seem that great unfortunately.. recommendations are appreciated. but my biggest issue is that i cant seem to connect to an ad hoc network. i believe my phone detected it only once while i was on the "white widow" rom, but could never quite connect..
